What does a woman have to do to feel safe, to live a life in which something as routine as a trip to the supermarket, a night out with friends or the simple act of turning out the lights and going to bed at night isn't an ordeal filled with anxiety and dread?
What does she have to do to be free of her stalker? By the end of To Catch a Stalker (BBC Three, 9pm and 9.45pm, Tuesday, July 1; repeated on BBC One, 11.40pm and 12.30am), the answer seems to be: wait and hope. And then wait and hope some more.
