Jalen Brunson
has a chance to leave his stamp on the NBA history and become one of the New York Knicks' greatest players as the upcoming season approaches. Although it's never easy to compete for a championship, his rise to fame has helped the team finish close to the top of the East in recent years.
However, NBA All-Star Jeff Teague, isn't convinced that Jalen Brunson is superior to former Boston Celtics' star Isaiah Thomas.
Jeff Teague downplays Jalen Brunson's rise, claims Isaiah Thomas was the better scorer and overall player
Jalen Brunson, the star of the
New York Knicks
, has been nothing short of extraordinary since he moved to Madison Square Garden in 2022. He helped the team come around and even led them to their first Eastern Conference Finals in 25 years this past season.
Thanks to the star player, the New York Knicks are now able to contend for a championship.
He has developed into one of the league's best guards since coming to New York. He further led the team to the third-best record in the East last season.

However, the former NBA All-Star Baron Davis realized that Jalen Brunson alone would not be enough to bring an NBA championship. This happened after the team lost to the Indiana Pacers in six games in the
Eastern Conference
Finals. Baron Davis pointed to Indiana's pressure and restricting Jalen Brunson's movement. He further stated on Paul George's Podcast P:
"Nobody can stop him… But if you watch what Indiana did, the half-court became another defender.
His space got limited. They need another guard to handle pressure, bring the ball up, and let him operate one-on-one late in games."
On the other hand,
Jeff Teague
isn't convinced that Jalen Brunson is superior to Isaiah Thomas. The former was a 5-foot-9 MVP candidate in Boston in 2017. Although his career was brief, he was among the league's finest, which is why Jeff Teague sided with him in a dispute.
During his appearance in Club 520 Podcast on July 15, he said:
'I'm taking IT… I am, they do the same s—, and IT do it better really.'

When asked who is a better scorer as well as a better player, Jeff Teague went all out. He continued:
'I swear to god I'm not being biased… I watched Jalen Brunson grow up, but [Thomas] averaged 30. He averaged 30.'
In 2016-17,
Isaiah Thomas
had his best season. However, next season, Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks will have a chance to put an end to this dispute on the floor.

CONTROVERSY EXPLAINED: Shaquille O'Neal threatens Robert Griffin III for 'monkey post' about his 'girl' Angel Reese, 'I'm going to...'

Shaquille O'Neal didn't mince words when he confronted Robert Griffin III for reposting a racist image involving WNBA star Angel Reese. The NBA legend issued a heated warning during a recent podcast appearance, threatening physical violence if Griffin made another disrespectful comment about Reese. The post, which depicted Reese as a monkey on a video game cover, was widely condemned, and Shaq made it clear that he would not tolerate any further attacks, especially from Griffin. Shaq issues fierce warning on 'Off the Record' podcast While appearing on Bailey Jackson's 'Off the Record' podcast, Shaq lashed out at the former NFL quarterback. 'Tweet another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese, and I'm going to punch you in your f–king face,' he said bluntly. O'Neal, who shares an LSU connection with Reese and recently signed her to Reebok as part of his leadership there, made it clear he had grown tired of RG3's repeated criticism. 'Leave my Angel Reese alone,' he added. 'I'm the one calling her, telling her not to respond… That's the last time. OK?' Shaq also dismissed Griffin's credibility on the issue, saying he lacked 'G14 classification' to speak on women's basketball matters. 'I would respect it more if Lisa Leslie said it. That's their category. Stay out of them people's category,' he stated. Griffin's post sparks backlash, Shaq questions his legacy Griffin's July 10 post, which claimed sources told him Reese 'hates' Caitlin Clark, had added fuel to an already toxic narrative being spun around the WNBA rivalry. While he claimed the post was 'backed up with clear basketball evidence,' Shaq saw the post as more self-serving than journalistic. 'It's a shame that all the stuff you did in your life, you're going to be remembered for your podcast,' he said. 'Let it go. So what? She hates her. So what? I hate you now for messing with her. Now what? Say something about me.'

Daniel Ricciardo's Red Bull exit era comes with a love story: Meet his girlfriend Heidi Berger

Daniel Ricciardo's post-Red Bull chapter has not gone the way fans hoped. After struggling through a tough stint at McLaren, a brief return to the grid, and then being dropped by the Racing Bulls in late 2024, Ricciardo's F1 career appears to have run its course. Off-track, however, the Australian driver has found something far more stable—a long-running relationship with Austrian-Portuguese actress Heidi Berger, who has quietly built a name for herself in entertainment while staying connected to the world of racing. Born into racing, built for something else Heidi Berger is no stranger to fast cars or world-famous circuits. She's the daughter of Austrian F1 veteran Gerhard Berger, who competed in over 200 Grand Prix races across 14 seasons. Her mother, Ana Corvo, was a model in Portugal, which partly explains Heidi's blend of camera comfort and international flair. Despite her racing lineage, Heidi did not take to the track herself. Instead, she pursued acting, appearing in several Portuguese-language television series in her early 20s. Born on April 4, 1997, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, the 28-year-old is still working in the industry, although she has taken a step back from constant screen work in recent years. Besides the silver screen, Berger's Instagram feed tells the story of a woman who loves to travel. From surfing in Hawaii and exploring the beaches of Spain to hiking in the Alps and dates with Ricciardo on Venetian waters, the Ludwig actress has been all over the world. Private, but not invisible Ricciardo first hinted at their relationship on Instagram in 2022. A photo carousel simply titled 'Us' kicked off the speculation. By 2023, the couple went official: showing up at weddings, appearing at select F1 races, and sharing vacation snapshots from Japan and Europe. While Daniel's public life has always revolved around engines and podiums, Heidi stays relatively low-profile. Still, Ricciardo once told Fizy & Wippa, 'I got a good thing going.' That was all fans needed to hear about their relationship. So, who is Heidi Berger? An actress, a traveler, and a daughter of F1 royalty. She's someone who is not defined by who she's dating, even if it's Daniel Ricciardo.
