Salman Khan Reveals Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Inspired His Look In Tere Naam
In the first episode of 'The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show' (Season 3), the 59-year-old actor shared that his hairstyle in Tere Naam was actually inspired by none other than the former President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
"Ye Tere Naam ka jo look hai, woh actually inspired tha Abdul Kalam saab se," Salman said during the chat with host Kapil Sharma. (My hairstyle in Tere Naam was inspired by Abdul Kalam Sir.)
He also mentioned that Rahul Roy had a similar hairstyle before, but for Tere Naam, he imagined a small-town character who would have long hair. "I thought that small-town heroes always had long hair. All the old-school heroes had it too - that's where the inspiration came from," he added.
Directed by the late Satish Kaushik, Tere Naam was released in 2003 and starred Salman as Radhe and Bhumika Chawla as Nirjala. It was a remake of the 1999 Tamil film Sethu, which originally starred actor Vikram. Though the film received mixed responses from audiences, it was remembered for Salman's intense performance and its music. The film also marked Bhumika Chawla's debut in Hindi cinema.
During the show, Salman also opened up about a recent incident in which a woman managed to sneak into Salman Khan's home at Galaxy Apartments. The topic came up when Kapil jokingly asked him about fans showing up at his residence with suitcases. Salman confirmed that something like that had indeed happened recently.
"Yes, something like that recently happened. There were security guards outside. A woman told them she wanted to head up to the fourth floor, and she entered. She rang the doorbell, and our servant opened the door. The servant was shocked because the lady said, 'Salman called me over.' Obviously, the servant saw her and was sure I definitely didn't call her. She was a fan, so she was escorted out," said the 'Sikandar' actor.

AP Dhillon's new song Thodi Si Daaru copied from Shinchan theme song? Here's what we know
Singer and rapper, AP Dhillon dropped his latest party track, Thodi Si Daaru, featuring actor Tara Sutaria. While it's only been a few days since the song's release, some social media users have accused the rapper of plagiarism. Many claimed that the song has been copied. Thodi Si Daaru marks the collaboration between AP Dhillon and Shreya Ghoshal. While the catchy tune and the visuals of the tracks have kept fans hooked to the song, a section on the internet was also reminded of the popular cartoon, Shinchan's theme song. They claimed an uncanny resemblance between the two songs over their tune. Decoding the same, a user on Instagram compared Dhillon's Thodi Si Daaru to the Hindi theme song of Shinchan, Mera Naam Bhi Shin-chan Hai. In his video, he played both the tracks individually and then combined them using an audio mixing software. Surprisingly, both songs created a smooth mashup with only the vocals differing. The edited clip also featured a section where Shreya Ghoshal's voice was overlaid on the Shin-chan lyrics, further backing the claims. The now-viral post read, 'Shinchan x AP Dhillon! Why do these two songs work so well? AP Dhillon's new song Thodi Si Daaru mash up with Shinchan's Title Song. Also featuring Shreya Ghoshal." Reacting to the video, a user wrote, 'Areee singh Saab, what is this behaviour.' 'This dude's career is built on plagiarism,' added another. One said, 'I thought it was just me who saw this similarity! Thank god it's evident!' Someone else also jokingly commented, 'Shinchan Singh Dhillon.' Yet another poked fun: 'Shinchan must be sitting and watching from somewhere and thinking.' 'Bro got inspired by Shinchan,' wrote one more user. Many also tagged AP Dhillon in the comment section. However, he is yet to respond to these claims. AP Dhillon is a Canadian singer. He is best known for his popular tracks, such as Excuses, Dil Nu, True Stories, Old Money, Brown Munde, Summer High, and more. Previously, AP Dhillon dropped a collaboration with the October actress Banita Sandhu, starring together in his music video With You. Besides the success of the music video, it also sparked dating rumours between the two after the release of the song.

Do you know Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Baazigar had different climax? Abbas-Mustan spill the beans
Baazigar is one of the most iconic action thrillers produced in Hindi cinema. The 1993 film not only launched Shah Rukh Khan into the mainstream cinema but went on to give him the much-needed acclaim for his terrific portrayal of antagonist in the film. Directed by Abbas-Mustan, the movie also starred Kajol and Shilpa Shetty. But did you know that Baazigar had a different ending? Abbas-Mustan, the director duo, recently spilled the beans about the different climax they had in mind for the SRK starrer. Abbas-Mustan had a different ending planned for Baazigar In a recent podcast with YouTuber Lucky Bisht, the duo shared a shocking detail about how they had initially planned a different climax for Baazigar. They revealed that in the first draft, SRK's character, Ajay/Vicky, was initially conceived as an out-and-out negative character with a tough childhood. In the first version, his father was a drunkard, and he aspired to become extremely rich. SRK's character then decides to get into a relationship with Madan Chopra's daughters while killing one of them, Seema Chopra. However, to everyone's surprise, originally, the directors wanted Kajol as Priya Chopra, to kill Shah Rukh Khan's character after learning about his intention of taking over her father's empire. The ending was eventually scrapped off and a new draft was put in place. In the final version, SRK's character was killed by Madan Chopra with a rod. Abbas-Mustan didn't think Kajol's character killing SRK would have worked In the same podcast, Abbas-Mustan spoke about why they decided to rewrite the script of Baazigar. The director duo shared that the 1993 film wouldn't have worked without heart and emotions. They rewrote the script while giving a tragic backstory to SRK's character, who experiences his father's murder, a wronged mother, and the demise of his little sister. Talking about Shah Rukh Khan being cast in a negative role, Abbas-Mustan further shared that they believed his character was a "hero". The director duo added that there was a motive behind his actions. About Baazigar Produced under the banner of Venus Movies, Baazigar starred Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, Ajay Sharma, and Vicky Malhotra. SRK was paired opposite Kajol and Shilpa Shetty in the movie. The 1993 film also featured actors like Raakhee, Dalip Tahil, and Johnny Lever. Baazigar was loosely based on Ira Levin's 1953 novel A Kiss Before Dying.
