EastEnders' Kat tears into Alfie as she has a theory about who he's helping

Metroa day ago
A lot has changed since EastEnders' Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) left Walford in search of Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) last month, not least his wife Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) buying the Queen Vic.
But if he thinks she's about to roll the red carpet out for his return, he might want to think again.
Next week's episodes will see Alfie finally come home after his secret trip, and it's not long before Kat is tearing into him for lying about where he has been.
As fans of the BBC soap will remember, last month saw Kat's estranged daughter Zoe make a sudden and unexpected reappearance after 20 years.
But shortly after she was reunited with cousin Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and step-dad Alfie, she made a run for it with Alfie soon heading off to Spain to track her down.
With Kat in the dark about Zoe's reappearance, Alfie lied to her and told her he was spending time with his brother Spencer Moon (Christopher Parker) in Australia.
When Kat later found out he wasn't really in Australia, Stacey had to cover for him, lying that Alfie had another cancer scare and was away clearing his head.

However, Kat is now under the impression that he has been helping his daughter Cherry, who was the result of his affair with Hayley Slater (Katie Jarvis). More Trending

Exit story confirmed for Coronation Street character months after debut

The romance between Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) and Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) in Coronation Street hasn't been an easy one, considering that Theo has had a lot to overcome in order to come to terms with his sexuality and the fact that he's found love with a man. We've learned that Theo was brought up in an environment where being gay was perceived as sinful and, as a result, Theo has spent most of his life in denial about being gay. He married a woman called Danielle (Natalie Anderson) and went on to have two children who are now teenagers, all the while trying to suppress his true sexuality. Meeting Todd meant he finally began to understand what he wanted from life and what he needed to do to achieve that, which meant a painful break-up of his marriage and navigating his children's feelings about it. Theo had a major setback when a character called Noah (Richard Winsor) appeared in the Street. At a younger age, Theo was put through so-called conversion therapy to try to stop him being gay, and Noah was part of that. Seeing him again terrified Theo and gave him panic attacks. After Noah recently invited Theo to a meeting to 'save his soul,' Todd went along and ended up getting into a fight with Noah and physically lashing out at him. Following this, Todd is instructed to attend a restorative justice session with Noah. He grits his teeth and goes along. It's a horrible experience as Noah is cruel and manipulative and exploits the chance to goad Todd as much as possible. As soon as the session is over, Todd leaves, in a hurry to get away. Because of this he forgets his coat and when he goes back to get it he overhears Noah talking on the phone to Theo's wife Danielle – who is obviously now Noah's girlfriend. Todd drops this bombshell when Danielle later brings Miles and Millie to the bistro to see Theo. All hell breaks loose, with Miles incensed by Todd's meddling and trying to punch him. Theo gets in the way of this and accidentally ends up hitting Miles himself, and he's mortified to see his son sprawling on the ground, hurt. More Trending When Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) calls round the following day he's surprised to see that Todd has slept on the sofa. Todd explains that now that Noah and Danielle are a couple, Theo isn't allowed to see his kids – and Theo hasn't taken it well. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Billy suggests that Todd should try speaking to Danielle about it and he meets up with her, aiming to convince her that Theo is a good dad who deserves to see his children. This backfires, though, when Theo becomes furious to discover that Todd has been taking Billy's advice about how to solve Theo's problems. Emmerdale legend in danger as Joe Tate sets out to destroy her

Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) is a man on a mission in Emmerdale. Ever since he broke Kim Tate's (Claire King) trust, Joe has been determined to rebuild their relationship. When Kim mentioned her grand plan to him a couple of days later, he was more than happy to be appointed assistant. Said plan is to buy all of the land that surrounds Home Farm, so the Tates can become more powerful and richer than ever before. It's quite the task, but both Joe and Kim are determined to make it work. With Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) currently refusing to budge with Annie's farmland, Joe turned his attention back to Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) in tonight's episode. Yesterday, he got word that she had another fine to pay post-slurry spill, and knew that was the exact moment to strike. Because Joe offered to buy Butlers Farm at a time Moira felt vulnerable, it seemed tempting to her. She could see the benefits of running the farm as a tenant, without the business stress alongside it. Moira had a conversation with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) about this, and he said he will support her, whatever she decides to do. Very close to signing the contract offer, Moira then made a huge discovery. Outside the new stables, Joe was having a conversation with Noel, the man who told Moira yesterday that her appeal to the water company had been declined. Listening in on the conversation, Moira was disgusted to learn that Joe had paid Noel to deliberately give her bad news about the appeal. At Home Farm a while later, Moira arrived and confirmed to Joe that she absolutely won't be giving him Butlers Farm. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Joe was incredibly frustrated that evening. Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) assumed that without Moira and Robert's land, the plan couldn't go ahead. More Trending Er, wrong. Joe told her that he will get what he wants, and doesn't care who he destroys along the way. Bit of a red flag here Dawn, but ok. What will Joe do next in his attempt to get his hands on Butlers? Corrie's Fiona star Sara Poyzer is married to cobbles icon with huge link to Kevin Webster

She's Coronation Street's new bad girl Fiona Morley, but off-screen actress Sara Poyzer is married to a former cobbles star with a previous link to the Websters She's recently popped up on the cobbles as dodgy car dealer Fiona Morley – but off-screen actress Sara Poyzer is married to a former Coronation Street star in real life. ‌ Fans saw the 54-year-old appear as a newcomer in the long-running ITV soap in recent weeks. Her first scenes were with Debbie Webster's ex Ronnie Bailey, a former 'business associate', and perhaps one-time boyfriend, who she asked to sell stolen cars for her. ‌ When Ronnie refused, Fiona ended up going into business with Carl Webster – Kevin Webster's little brother. He even tried to use Kevin's garage as a place to carry out dodgy MOTs. ‌ Coronation Street fans are flawed by Sue Nicholls real age after Audrey's birthday celebrations Soap spoilers next week: Corrie couple's brutal split and Emmerdale Joe's sick plan revealed Though viewers know that Carl is in serious money trouble, it's unclear if Fiona's character will be a long-running fixture. She was last seen stealing a car from Kevin's garage! Here's what we know about Sara's previous link to Corrie and who her famous husband is. ‌ Sara – who has starred in West End show Mamma Mia and as Leonie Schnell in Radio 4 drama The Archers – is married to 56-year-old Yorkshire actor Richard Standing. It's not known when the pair started dating, but they tied the knot in 2010. In the Nineties Richard starred in period hotel drama The Grand, before going on to land roles in The Bill, Casualty, Doctors and Silent Witness. But 26 years ago, Richard also had a stint in Coronation Street, playing market trader Danny Hargreaves. ‌ Danny was on the soap from 1999 to 2001. He was engaged to Kevin Webster's ex Sally and the pair ran a hardware shop together. They almost walked down the aisle, but everything was ruined when Sally dropped a bombshell on their wedding day - that she'd had a one-night stand with ex-husband Kevin a year earlier. ‌ This led to Danny leaving the soap and Sally buying his share of their shop. She has since moved on and is now married to cabbie Tim Metcalfe. And Corrie isn't Sara's first soap appearance either. Hardcore fans might remember her for short stints in BBC soaps EastEnders and Casualty. In 2013, Sara appeared in the Casualty episode What a Wonderful Life, as character Lynne Shields. ‌ She's starred in EastEnders twice. Once in a guest role as character Penny in 2002, and more recently as DS Sally Grant in 2013. During the 4 November episode that year, Sara's character interviewed Alice Branning (Jasmyn Banks) about the murder of Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd), as she charged her with the murder. Elsewhere, Sara has been in Doctors, Cast Offs, Paradise Reclaimed, Dangerville, Dangerfield, Playing the Field, Peak Practice, Crossroads and The Pilot of Ordinary People. In 2019, she also starred in Doctor Who: The Legacy of Time.
