Phaedra Parks Says RHOA Lost the ‘Fun' and She's Bringing It Back
Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been an improvement. The return of Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey in a friend capacity has helped elevate this season. In addition, Shamea Morton claimed her peach, which allowed her to finally step into the spotlight. Plus, Phaedra Parks is back, and she added an extra spark. Now, Phaedra is discussing Season 16 of RHOA and what she brought to the table.
Phaedra isn't planning on turning in her peach anytime soon. This mortician, lawyer, and mom is planning to stay involved in the show for the 'long haul.' And she is making the most of the experience. 'I'm introducing what I think the series lost: fun, fabulousness, and just authentically enjoying yourself in life. I have several jobs, and I continue to expand my little empire,' Phaedra told OK!. 'So, my fortress is growing.'
And seeing Phaedra and Porsha reunited once again as 'frick and frack' has been a hoot. 'Frick and frack is back. It's Phaedra 2.0,' she explained. 'I'm not with a crazy husband, and I got a new, young, and sparky boyfriend who's just cute.' She added of her sons Ayden and Dylan, 'My kids are at an age where they speak their minds, which I don't know if I enjoy that.'
Phaedra teased that RHOA viewers will see her pre-teen son, Dylan, launch his own business. 'They're little entrepreneurs,' Phaedra stated. 'So, this season, you'll not only see me continuing to work my many jobs, but you'll see my youngest son launch his clothing line.'
Meanwhile, shade assassin Kenya Moore shaded Phaedra amid reports that Episode 12's ratings hit a series low. Of course, Kenya quit the show during filming after she was suspended for allegedly showing photos of RHOA co-star Brit Eady performing a sexual act.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Stars React to Brit Eady Skipping the Season 16 Reunion in New Trailer
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 reunion trailer dropped on Friday, June 27 The first look teased how stars Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and Cynthia Bailey, respond to the news that castmate Brit Eady skipped the reunion Despite Eady's absence, the cast still divulge and recall what happened between Eady and former star, Kenya MooreBrit Eady continued to surprise her The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 16 castmates up until the day of the reunion. On Friday, June 27, Bravo released the first sneak preview of the upcoming three-part reunion of the hit reality series. During the quick trailer, fans got a peek at how the women reacted to fellow castmate Eady's decision to skip the reunion. Towards the first half of the trailer, host Andy Cohen tells Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and Cynthia Bailey, that 'Brit Eady has decided not to join us.' The clip then cuts to a shocked Ferrell, 40, who says, 'Wow,' while another woman is heard in the background saying, 'What?' Eady's decision to skip the reunion followed PEOPLE's reporting on Thursday, June 5, that she and Kenya Moore would not be attending, Eady on her own volition, while Moore, 54, was not invited by Bravo to participate. Moore was the longest running RHOA star when season 16 began filming back in April 2024. But her time in the season was cut short in June 2024, after she exposed sexually explicit photos presumed to be from Eady's past to guests at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. She was suspended — and after an internal investigation — exited the series. On the same day as the reunion taping, Thursday, June 5, Eady, 37, addressed her decision not to attend the reunion on her Instagram Stories, alleging that the photos Moore shared a year ago weren't of her to begin with. 'I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me,' Eady continued in her statement. 'I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life." During the reunion trailer, Williams, 44, seemingly acknowledges the incident and says, 'Kenya had gotten information from a current housewife about Brit's past.' Cohen, 57, then turns his attention to Ferrell and asks, 'Did you send her the pictures?' His question left Ferrell shocked and speechless. The trailer then cuts to other moments that tease tensions between Parks, 51, and Oakley, as well as Williams and Morton Mwangi, 43, which prompts Williams to leave the reunion set. Why Was Joe Giudice Deported? Bravo Star Asks Trump for Pardon
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Reality star Joe Giudice, who was deported from the United States back to his native Italy in 2019 after being convicted on federal fraud charges asked President Donald Trump for a pardon on Thursday. "President Trump, I respect you and I'm asking for a second chance," Giudice wrote on Instagram, along with the hashtag "PardonJoeGiudice." Newsweek reached out to representatives for Giudice for comment. Why It Matters Giudice rose to fame alongside his now ex-wife Teresa Giudice on Bravo's Real Housewives of New Jersey. Teresa also appeared on the fifth season of The Celebrity Apprentice, which was hosted by Trump. Trump pardoned reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley last month. The Chrisley Knows Best couple was convicted on fraud and tax evasion charges. Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, from the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," stands during a hearing in the Passaic County Courthouse in Paterson, New Jersey, on October 15, 2014. Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, from the "Real Housewives of New Jersey," stands during a hearing in the Passaic County Courthouse in Paterson, New Jersey, on October 15, 2014. William Perlman/NJ Advance Media via AP, Pool What To Know In 2014, Joe and Teresa each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, one count of bankruptcy fraud by concealment of assets, one count of bankruptcy fraud by false oaths and one count of bankruptcy fraud by false declarations. Joe also pleaded guilty to one count of failure to file a tax return. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison, while Joe was sentenced to 41 months. After Joe completed his sentence, he was deported to Italy. Joe was born in Italy and moved to New Jersey when he was 1 years old. He never obtained U.S. citizenship. He has since relocated to the Bahamas. Teresa and Joe, who share four daughters, finalized their divorce in 2020. Joe's Instagram post, which currently has over 38,000 likes, is captioned: "I'm Joe Guidice. I served my time, and I've been deported from the U.S. for nearly a decade. I was raised in Jersey. I'm a father of four amazing daughters and I just want to be allowed to visit them again. President Trump, I respect you and I'm asking for a second chance. @realdonaldtrump @donaldtrumpjr." Teresa commented on Joe's post on Thursday with prayer hands and heart emojis. "I love you dad," Milania Giudice, Joe and Teresa's daughter, wrote. Their oldest daughter Gia Giudice also wrote, "I love you." Fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Siggy Flicker and Jen Aydin shared supportive comments on Joe's post. "I'm trying. Joe should be back home with his beautiful daughters," wrote Flicker, who was appointed to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's board of trustees by Trump. Earlier this year, Joe Guidice appeared on his ex-wife Teresa Guidice's podcast Turning the Tables where he spoke about fighting his deportation. "I got a lawyer working on something, but she's been working on it and hasn't done anything yet, so, I don't know, we'll see. I did get in front of the embassy and they denied that was it. I paid a bunch of money for that, so...I went, and it took not even five minutes and they denied it, so I'm done with this crap. It is what it is." What People Are Saying Joe Guidice said earlier this year on his ex-wife Teresa Guidice's podcast Turning the Tables about missing the U.S.: "Well, I mean, you got friends, family. I mean, everything. You grow up someplace, you get used to everything. I mean, that's why I adapt[ed] here in the Bahamas, Nassau, because it's kind of like Americanized, and I always see American people here. So, I kind of feel like I'm close to home. When I was in Italy, it wasn't really the same. It was nice, but it just felt far. Like, here, it's close. It's only two-and-a-half hours away, and I guess because everybody comes and visits me, I don't feel like I'm too far." What Happens Next? Trump has not commented publicly on whether he will pardon Joe. Do you have a story that Newsweek should be covering? Do you have any questions about this story? Contact LiveNews@
