'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Stars React to Brit Eady Skipping the Season 16 Reunion in New Trailer

On Friday, June 27, Bravo released the first sneak preview of the upcoming three-part reunion of the hit reality series. During the quick trailer, fans got a peek at how the women reacted to fellow castmate Eady's decision to skip the reunion. Towards the first half of the trailer, host Andy Cohen tells Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Angela Oakley and Cynthia Bailey, that 'Brit Eady has decided not to join us.' The clip then cuts to a shocked Ferrell, 40, who says, 'Wow,' while another woman is heard in the background saying, 'What?' Eady's decision to skip the reunion followed PEOPLE's reporting on Thursday, June 5, that she and Kenya Moore would not be attending, Eady on her own volition, while Moore, 54, was not invited by Bravo to participate. Moore was the longest running RHOA star when season 16 began filming back in April 2024. But her time in the season was cut short in June 2024, after she exposed sexually explicit photos presumed to be from Eady's past to guests at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa. She was suspended — and after an internal investigation — exited the series. On the same day as the reunion taping, Thursday, June 5, Eady, 37, addressed her decision not to attend the reunion on her Instagram Stories, alleging that the photos Moore shared a year ago weren't of her to begin with. 'I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently, I now know it was not me,' Eady continued in her statement. 'I look forward to seeking accountability and moving past this dark part of my life." During the reunion trailer, Williams, 44, seemingly acknowledges the incident and says, 'Kenya had gotten information from a current housewife about Brit's past.' Cohen, 57, then turns his attention to Ferrell and asks, 'Did you send her the pictures?' His question left Ferrell shocked and speechless. The trailer then cuts to other moments that tease tensions between Parks, 51, and Oakley, as well as Williams and Morton Mwangi, 43, which prompts Williams to leave the reunion set. Kenya Moore Reacts to RHOA All-Time Low Ratings After Phaedra Parks Returns
Fans were hoping that Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta would be a return to the good old days. Porsha Williams returned to claim her peach, and Shamea Morton stepped into the spotlight. However, Kenya Moore exited RHOA after allegedly showing images of co-star Brit Eady performing a sex act. It was just wrong on so many levels. Kenya retaliated after Brit allegedly said that she had a gun. So, Phaedra Parks returned for the second half of the season. Well, while some fans are enjoying the show, the ratings are telling a different tale. After Kenya twirled off the show, she hasn't been quiet about voicing her opinion. Her former friend, Cynthia Bailey, who confronted Kenya for showing the photos at her salon opening, has received plenty of shade. And now it looks like Phaedra, who has happily resumed her place on RHOA, is also a victim of the shade assassin. So, Bravo Ratings shared RHOA's ratings for Episode 12. It brought in 0.09 for the desirable 18-49 demographic. This was a series low for the peaches. And, of course, Kenya noticed. When The Bravo Shade Room shared the post on Instagram, Kenya liked it. She also added the double eye emoji to the comments. Yikes. Of course, this ratings slump could be due to many different factors. And Phaedra's return could still be positive for the show. As for Kenya's future on RHOA? While Cynthia is hoping that Kenya returns, it is unclear how Bravo and Kenya feel about it. 'Losing Kenya was hard for me because she's one of the best to ever do this reality TV thing. She's a phenomenal Housewife, and in time, I do think she will find her way back. Phaedra Parks Says RHOA Lost the ‘Fun' and She's Bringing It Back
Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has been an improvement. The return of Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey in a friend capacity has helped elevate this season. In addition, Shamea Morton claimed her peach, which allowed her to finally step into the spotlight. Plus, Phaedra Parks is back, and she added an extra spark. Now, Phaedra is discussing Season 16 of RHOA and what she brought to the table. Phaedra isn't planning on turning in her peach anytime soon. This mortician, lawyer, and mom is planning to stay involved in the show for the 'long haul.' And she is making the most of the experience. 'I'm introducing what I think the series lost: fun, fabulousness, and just authentically enjoying yourself in life. I have several jobs, and I continue to expand my little empire,' Phaedra told OK!. 'So, my fortress is growing.' And seeing Phaedra and Porsha reunited once again as 'frick and frack' has been a hoot. 'Frick and frack is back. It's Phaedra 2.0,' she explained. 'I'm not with a crazy husband, and I got a new, young, and sparky boyfriend who's just cute.' She added of her sons Ayden and Dylan, 'My kids are at an age where they speak their minds, which I don't know if I enjoy that.' Phaedra teased that RHOA viewers will see her pre-teen son, Dylan, launch his own business. 'They're little entrepreneurs,' Phaedra stated. 'So, this season, you'll not only see me continuing to work my many jobs, but you'll see my youngest son launch his clothing line.' Meanwhile, shade assassin Kenya Moore shaded Phaedra amid reports that Episode 12's ratings hit a series low. Of course, Kenya quit the show during filming after she was suspended for allegedly showing photos of RHOA co-star Brit Eady performing a sexual act. 'RHOA' Cast Reacts to Sudden Death of Porsha Williams' Late Cousin Londie Favors
Yolanda "Londie" Favors died suddenly in August 2024 at the age of 34, just weeks before her birthday Porsha Williams shared the sad news about her late cousin with Phaedra Parks in a phone call that aired in the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Londie was featured several times on the show and also appeared alongside Porsha in her 2021 spinoff series, Porsha's Family MattersThe Real Housewives of Atlanta cast is paying tribute to Porsha Williams' late cousin, Yolanda 'Londie' Favors. The latest episode of the Bravo show captured the ladies' reactions to Londie's unexpected death, which occurred in August 2024. In a brief phone call, an emotional Porsha revealed the 'huge loss' to longtime friend and RHOA co-star Phaedra Parks. 'It just was so sudden, so difficult,' Porsha said. 'Londie was just the most giving person you can ever think of. Loyal person, the most creative with her company. She did so much for my grandfather's foundation. The most honest person you can ever think of.' Phaedra noted that Londie, who was also featured in the Porsha's Family Matters spinoff series from 2021 to 2022, was like a 'little sister' to Porsha. 'I'm devastated because I know Londie was really the backbone of their family,' Phaedra continued in her confessional. 'Very young, but just brilliant. I mean, a sweetheart, and I know Porsha is devastated.' Just hours later, the women gathered for Phaedra's 'Black Glove Affair' party, where she shared the tragic news with everyone. 'So tonight, Porsha wasn't here because — me and Shamea [Morton] definitely know Londie — Londie, her cousin, died suddenly,' Phaedra explained. 'So she's dealing with that.' Cynthia Bailey, who has known Porsha for over 13 years, let out an audible gasp as Shamea began to sob in Phaedra's arms. 'I'm in shock,' Cynthia told cameras. 'Londie was so sweet, so loving. This is devastating news.' Phaedra went on to remind the group that it was important to be there for Porsha despite any of their differences. 'We fall out, but at the end of day, we're sisters,' she added. 'We've got to stick together and really support one another, because you never know when it's the last time.' Londie was weeks away from her 35th birthday when she died on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024. The cause of death was not announced at the time. 'So it's true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love,' Porsha began an Instagram tribute that week, using a quote from author E.A. Bucchianeri. 'Londie - you were our best friend, our sister, our aunt, our cousin, and so much more,' her tribute continued. 'Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, and you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.' 'The impact and value you provided all of us during your time here was tremendous, but we know that your spirit will always be with us every day guiding us through this difficult time and what's still to come. For that, we're eternally grateful,' she concluded.
