RRB NTPC 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is likely to declare the results for RRB NTPC 2025 Graduate Level CBT 1 soon. Once the results are announced, it will be available for the candidates who appeared for the exam, to check on the official websites of the respective regional RRBs.
The CBT 1 exam of RRB NTPC UG will be conducted from August 7 to September 8, 2025. RRB NTPC City Intimation slip will be released soon. Candidates can download the city slip by logging with user ID, password, and captcha code. It is also to be noted that the hard copy of RRB NTPC CBT 1 UG city slip will not be sent by post. However, the actual merger will depend on ironing out several issues, including how trains will be operated, who will maintain the infrastructure, and how safety will be managed post-transfer. What Delayed the Merger So Far? The transfer of MRTS operations to CMRL was put on hold due to an important project—the construction of a fourth railway line between Chennai Beach and Chennai Egmore. Sanctioned in March 2022 at a cost of Rs 279.8 crore, this project has now been completed and commissioned earlier this year. CHENNAI: The long-pending merger of Chennai's Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) with the city's metro rail network (CMRL) may see some progress soon, as official sources said that the Railway Board has agreed 'in principle' to the proposal. However, a formal decision is awaited. The development comes in the backdrop of completion of a critical infrastructure project and the finalisation of a broad framework for asset transfer. In a written response to questions raised in Parliament by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that while the Indian Railways and the Tamil Nadu government have jointly prepared the principles for a formal memorandum of understanding (MoU), the operational merger would be depend on resolving challenges related to train operations, asset maintenance, and safety.
