I tried Charlotte Tilbury's new Super Nudes range - and it gave me the perfect 90s makeover
Taking centre stage is the Hollywood Contour Wand, which makes it effortless for anyone to achieve the iconic, sun-kissed look of a 90s supermodel. Meanwhile, the new Lip Cheat Contour Duo and Big Lip Plumpgasm in shade 'nudegasm diamond' combine to create the ultimate full, plump pout.
As an exclusive treat, shoppers can enjoy 20% off the Hollywood Flawless Filter, Airbrush Flawless Foundation, and Airbrush Flawless Finish when purchasing any of the new Super Nudes beauty icons, simply by using the code SUPERYOU at checkout.
During the masterclass, Charlotte Tilbury's professional makeup artist Eleanor Howarth began by prepping my skin with the Beautiful Skin Foundation and the colour-correcting Magic Vanish to conceal my under-eye area. Rather than applying the concealer directly to the deep crease under my eyes, she used the new Super Nudes Shapewear Brush (£28) to blend it seamlessly along my nose, cleverly filling in the "sunken crescents" to create a smoother, more even finish.
This versatile brush boasts a dual-ended design, featuring a slanted edge for precision shaping and definition, alongside a fluffy side for seamless blending and softening of formulas. Its compact size makes it easily portable in any makeup bag, reports OK!.
Eleanor utilised the brush to soften contouring, although its relatively small size necessitates a longer buffing time to achieve a smooth finish. For a more efficient application on the cheeks and forehead, consider Morphe's M103 Angled Cream and Liquid Foundation Brush, £14, which offers a larger surface area.
In the 90s, eyeshadow was often applied heavily and with a smoky effect. To recreate this look, blend earthy tones higher on the eyelids and darker beige hues closer to the waterline.
For those seeking a more understated, everyday look, the Super Nudes Easy Eye Palette, £47, offers an excellent colour range.
When applying the Hollywood Contour Wand in Medium, Eleanor advised: "Always leave two fingers away from the nose and dab in lifted upward motions."
As she blended, my face became more defined and less puffy, with "hollow cheeks", chiselled jaws, and a smaller forehead. To achieve this, simply apply above the cheekbones, along the hairline, nose bridge, and jawline.
The standout product for me was the Lip Cheat Contour Duo, a pencil featuring two highly pigmented, blendable formulas. The Sculpt end, with its powdery texture and darker shade, creates contouring shadows, while the Fill end, with its soft, creamy consistency and lighter shade, adds all-over colour for enhanced, fuller-looking lips.
The Lip Cheat pencils, priced at £21, come in a range of four shades from Fair to Deep. I opted for the Medium shade - a subdued mauve and beige nude - to balance out the uneven colour on my lips.
I tried applying it myself and found that it went on smoothly. It would be great if it included a sharpener.
In comparison, Refy's Blur Liner is a twist-to-use crayon that doesn't require sharpening and is more affordable at £16.
When compared to the Pillow Talk lip liner, which I also have in medium, the Lip Cheat pencils glide on the lips more easily due to their creamier texture. After lining my lips, I applied the Big Lip Plumpgasm on top in the 'nudegasm diamond' shade - a champagne gold colour.
My lips tingled after one application, but for those who prefer to avoid this sensation, Vieve's Original Lip Dew (available at SpaceNK for £21) could be a better option. The Kiko Milano 3D Hydra Lipgloss is another good alternative, available on Amazon for £11.99.
I must say, the Tilbury Makeover left me quite impressed, and I discovered that contouring can be achieved with minimal tools. After stepping out with my glamorous new look, I received a compliment from a stranger within minutes.
My friends were equally complimentary after seeing photos of the completed makeover. That being said, it's not my everyday makeup style, but I will continue to create the fuller lip effect with more understated eye makeup.

Katie Price breaks silence on JJ Slater split rumours with very telling snap
Katie Price has taken to social media to break her silence after it was reported that she had split from her boyfriend, Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, earlier on in the week It looks like Katie Price has had enough of the rumours surrounding her love life, with the mum-of-five posting a telling statement on social media regarding her romance with JJ Slater. The update from Katie comes after friends claimed he'd moved out and they had called it quits. Earlier this week, reports emerged that Katie, 47, and Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, 31, had parted ways. Closer magazine claimed the couple had "gone their separate ways" with JJ allegedly having "packed his bags and moved out". However, Katie appears to have quashed these rumours by posting a picture featuring JJ prominently. Via her Instagram stories, Katie uploaded an image showing JJ positioned at a laptop. The reality TV star was captured during a photoshoot whilst having her hair and makeup applied. Seated at a table in the photograph was JJ. So it looks like the love story continues for Katie and JJ. The couple first became an item at the end of 2023, and following a turbulent whirlwind romance, but an insider earlier this week that alleged that Katie has grown 'bored' and that JJ has 'lost his sparkle'. "Katie and JJ have decided to go their separate ways, with JJ having already packed his bags and moved out. Ultimately, Katie's gotten bored. Friends and family had been warning JJ for a while that he'd lost his sparkle and that she treated him like a doormat," a source revealed to Closer. The insider went on to disclose that Katie 'isn't upset' about being single once more and has numerous options sliding into her DMs, even making quips to her mate where she compared men to handbags. They continued: "JJ has seen the messages, DM's sliding in and out from other men, Katie isn't upset. She even joked with her pal, 'new house, new start! I change men like handbags, but handbags are more useful!' He's gutted, but Katie claims she has not been unfaithful or been going behind his back and sexting other men." Speaking about Katie's romantic patterns, the source remarked: "Katie loves the excitement of the chase and being chased. If it's naughty, then she's in." Adding: "She craves the dopamine rush and is a self-confessed addict to anything that gives her a rush and instant gratification. She lives for her next hit, and sadly, JJ is just another statistic of collateral damage." Just last month, Katie was photographed getting cosy with several topless blokes whilst holidaying in Ibiza, with the getaway reportedly leaving JJ feeling worried about their relationship. "She can't help but flirt and cosy up to people, it's the life she's always led," a source told OK! The former Page 3 stunner was pictured partying alongside controversial ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor, EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney and nightclub mogul Wayne Lineker, who owns the island's renowned O Beach club. Katie dropped hints that her romance with JJ was in trouble during a May appearance on Paul C Brunson's podcast. She revealed her worries about spending excessive time with JJ and neglecting her mates. She explained: "When you meet someone, it's natural to want to be with them all the time. Then the mistakes I've made in the past are then you're with them all the time." She continued: "I'm a bit worried that I've got like that with JJ."

Abbey Clancy says ‘I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you' in brutal marriage insight
Model Abbey Clancy and former England international footballer Peter Crouch have been married since 2011, and regularly share insights into their relationship on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch Abbey Clancy says she wouldn't trust husband Peter Crouch 'as far as she could throw him' in a brutal marriage insight. The model has been with former England footballer Peter for almost two decades. The couple married in 2011, five years after they started dating, and now share four children together. They regularly discuss the highs and lows of married life on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch. In a recent episode, a listener wrote in saying their friends had all found themselves in relationships meaning they had no one to go out with. It prompted the woman to ask them if they would attend a singles night together. While former Liverpool forward Peter, 44, sympathised with the woman, he believes they should just organise a regular 'girls night'. He said: 'I get she wants to go out with the girls, that's fine, go to a pub, go to a restaurant, you can't go to a singles night.' Abbey queried 'what's the difference' between going to a singles night and a regular night on the town. To which Peter replied: 'If I said to you, my mate is single and he's not got a girlfriend, so I'm just going to go to this singles night tonight to help him out, how would you feel?' Abbey said: 'I'd be like grow up. If you're confident enough in your relationship and secure in your relationship then your head won't be turned.' Husband Peter shot back saying Abbey 'isn't confident enough in their relationship' if she wouldn't let him go. She said: 'I'm not, I'm absolutely not, I wouldn't trust you as far as I could throw you. 'You're under lock and key, mister. I would help my friend out, maybe not a singles night then.' Peter and Abbey met in Liverpool in 2005. Recalling how they met during an interview on Good Morning Britain, Abbey said: 'When we first met, he begged me for my number and then I went to the loo or the bar, and when I came back, he was talking to another girl. I was like, 'How dare you?'' Peter went on to say he was 'just talking' to the other girl but Abbey asked for her number back. He added: 'I said, 'You can't give someone your number and then take it back'.' Despite the initial bump in the road, their relationship blossomed and the couple tied the knot on June 30, 2011. According to OK! , the family live in a 'magical' Surrey mansion complete with its own cinema room and a huge garden. The sprawling mansion regularly features on Abbey's social media feeds. Fans have seen glimpses of Peter working at his large wooden desk, complete with football trophy, as well as enjoying the property's outdoor swimming pool and wooden play area. They are said to have moved into the stunning property in 2016.
