After Manchester, Oasis are heading to London, Edinburgh and Dublin to finish off the UK and Ireland leg of their tour.
Stage times for the opening night have now been officially confirmed by the band.
For both nights, doors will open at 5pm. Support acts Cast will take to the stage at 6pm, followed by Richard Ashcroft at 7pm.
Oasis will take to the stage at around 8:15pm.
Look Back In Anger
The Gallagher brothers have had more fights than hit records.
And fans and tour promoters are praying the pair can manage all their gigs without yet another epic fallout.
It is nearly 16 years since the nastiest of all their altercations signalled the end of the band, which had sold more than 50million records, released eight UK No1 albums and played two record-breaking shows at Knebworth.
Noel and Liam had reached a point where they only saw each other on stage. They didn't even travel together.
At the planned penultimate show of their 2009 world tour in Paris, Noel didn't even make it through the curtains after a pre-show brawl.
Liam had smashed one of his prized guitars, and Noel walked out on the band.

Oasis tour programme features Buckley's Tivoli from 1994 gig

Oasis are back on stage for the first time in 16 years, kicking off their tour in Cardiff on Friday. And the official souvenir programme picked up by thousands of fans features a callback to their early days when they played at the Tivoli in Buckley. It includes a photo of the Buckley venue with a caption describing it as the location of the band's first gig following the release of the breakthrough album Definitely Maybe in 1994. The Oasis reunion comes 30 years after they performed at The Tivoli. The band performed at the Buckley-based venue back in August 31, 1994, where the crowd paid just £6 for the privilege of watching Oasis - a far cry from what ticket prices have been for the 2025 tour dates. The venue is celebrating its 100th anniversary, having opened in May, 1925. The venue posted on social media: "The Tivoli has just got EVEN more famous - Oasis tour program." The Tivoli has just got EVEN more famous 😃 - oasis tour program. People responded, congratulating the venue that has hosted music gigs over the past decades. Neil Hayes said: "Brilliant to see. A truly iconic venue!" Noel and Liam's gig at The Tivoli came just two days before the release of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe - which turned 30 in 2024. Their gig at The Tiv has gone down in Oasis folklore as one of the band's wildest, thanks to Evan Dando (The Lemonheads frontman), who invaded the stage while the band played Live Forever, before ending the evening performing an impromptu acoustic show on the venue's roof. There is also a story of Liam Gallagher having things thrown at him while on the stage. Following the incident, Liam said to the audience: 'If you're feeling a bit of a geezer right, whoever threw the f******g bottle, let's have you up here and I'll slap you in front of the crowd. 'Not here to have things thrown at me, not a f*****g coconut stall.' Over the years, and right up to today, a host of famous acts have graced the stage at The Tivoli, including Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Skindred, Super Furry Animals, Bay City Rollers, Goldie Lookin Chain, Shed Seven, and The Charlatans, The Tivoli (Image: Newsquest) The programme is for the first Oasis tour in 16 years. On Friday night, Oasis thanked their fans for 'putting up with us over the years', as they closed their first gig together in 16 years. Noel and Liam Gallagher swaggered on to the stage before waving at concertgoers at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday, the first stop on their long-awaited worldwide reunion tour. The brothers, who had not performed together since their dramatic split in 2009, blasted through their setlist, kicking off with Hello, from their second album, (What's the Story) Morning Glory? During the gig, the lead singer apologised to fans for how long it had taken for them to reunite. Liam spoke to the audience several times throughout the set, saying: 'Hello people, it's been too long,' before their third song, (What's the Story). Before launching into Cigarettes And Alcohol, Liam demanded the audience embrace, telling fans to turn around and hug a stranger. He said: 'Right then beautiful people, I want to see you all turn around and put your arms round each other. 'And when the tune starts, jump up and f****** down.' Both brothers made joking references to the dynamic pricing scandal, which caused outrage among fans trying to buy tickets for shows in the UK and Ireland, with some standard tickets appearing to jump from £148 to £355. The controversy prompted the Government and the UK's competition watchdog to pledge to look at the use of dynamic pricing. After Liam walked off stage following Roll With It, Noel took over singing duties for the first time. He quoted the audience a price the gig was worth, before saying: 'It's just gone up.' Later, Liam said: 'Was it worth the £40,000 you paid for a ticket?' (Image: Jordan Pettitt/PA Wire) During the final bars of Live Forever, a picture of Diogo Jota, the Liverpool footballer who died in a car accident on Thursday, was displayed, and the crowd cheered and applauded the gesture. As they broke into fan-favourite Champagne Supernova, their final song of the evening, the lead singer said: 'Right you beautiful people, this is it. 'Nice one for putting up with us over the years, we know we've been difficult. 'Champagne Supernova, nice one.' While the brothers shared no banter on stage throughout the gig, they very briefly high-fived and half-hugged each other's shoulders after their closing track. (Image: Jordan Pettitt/PA Wire) Oasis was supported by fellow 90s group Cast and former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft. Cast, an indie rock band from Liverpool, also paid tribute to Diogo Jota, dedicating their top 10 hit Walkaway to the footballer. Ashcroft said he was 'proud to be here on this historic night', before playing many of his biggest songs, finishing with Bittersweet Symphony. Tens of thousands of fans descended on Cardiff ahead of the gig. The stadium is able to host a maximum of 74,500 people. On Friday afternoon, every pub and bar along St Mary's Street in the Welsh capital was filled with people waiting for the concert to start, with the majority wearing the Britpop band's merchandise. Fans Lachlan Weekes and Jayden Helm, who spent more than a day travelling from Sydney, Australia, to attend the concert, were among them. Mr Weekes said: 'We've been planning it forever. We always said that if they got back together, we'd be at that first show.' Mr Helm said: 'We've been lifelong fans – we're 22 and 21, so haven't really had a chance to see them before. 'We always said it was worth it to come, we wouldn't miss it for the world. To take time off work to come over here, it's more than worth it.' Lawrence Evans, from just outside Swansea, said his 'life changed' when he started listening to the band, as he then started to play music and write songs. He said: 'They were the band that made me realise how much guitar music meant to me.' His son Jimmy said of the concert: 'The fact that it's in Wales is really special for us. 'It's the first time I get to see Oasis, (my dad) he's lost count, he's seen them countless times. 'I've been waiting for this day all my life.'

Coronation Street's Sally Carman reveals secrets to youthful appearance after fans were stunned to learn her real age

CORONATION Street's Sally Carman has revealed the secrets to her youthful appearance after fans were stunned by her real age. The actress - who plays Abi Webster in the ITV soap - shocked fans when she revealed she was celebrating her 50th birthday earlier this year. 3 3 3 They refused to believe she was 50 given her youthful looks but now Sally has confirmed her ageless secrets. Speaking exclusively to The Sun's TV Mag, she said: 'Oh, it's no secret - I have fillers, I have Botox, facials…. I do all of it., 'I'm really open about it. I don't think there's anything worse than someone promoting a cream saying: 'Buy this mega-bucks cream and your face will be as smooth as mine.' 'I'm like: 'Yeah, whatever.' So there's no cream - well, there is, but there are other things on top. 'I'm still marking my 50th. I've never really done birthday celebrations and I didn't want a big party because I'm not that kind of person. 'So I did lots of little things, and I'm still doing lots of little things. It's been lovely. I just feel like 50 is just going to get better and better and better. 'At 40, I had a massive crisis. I didn't like that at all. But turning 50 has really changed my mindset. I'm just thinking: 'I'm just going to hold things lightly.' 'If someone says something that's upsetting, I'm going to choose not to be upset. I'm just letting it wash over me and focus on what actually matters, you know, and that's the people around you, and those kinds of things. So far, so good.' Sally's character Abi is currently going through a crisis of her own, having her head turned by brother-in-law Carl Webster with the pair set to have a passionate affair. 'Your readers will say: 'Stay with Kevin!'' smiles Sally, who was previously best known for playing Kelly Maguire in comedy-drama Shameless. Soap star Sally Carman strips down to swimsuit on holiday with Coronation Street co-star 'He's given her a life and took a chance on her, so it's no wonder everyone's like: 'Don't you dare cheat on Kevin!' 'I mean, I feel the same! Abi loves Kevin, but Carl has awakened her feelings. She's been desperately trying to fight it because she knows what she's got to lose. 'In real life, Abi wouldn't be a friend of mine. I do like her, I think she's got great qualities - she's got a huge heart - but she's also a handful. 'And because she's emotionally immature, she gets very defensive, very upset, very hurt. I wouldn't want that in my life.' Sally has also confirmed that she wants to stay on the cobbles for as long as bosses will have her. Real-life soap couples Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling. Max Parker and Kris Mochrie Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding. Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed. Laura Norton and Mark Jordan Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together. Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand." Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed. Sally Carman and Joe Duttine Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny." Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie. Jane Danson and Robert Beck Corrie favourite Jane Danson tied the knot with soap star Robert Beck in 2005. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby, shares two children, Harry and Sam, with the former Brookside star. During their marriage, Robert has also done a stint in Weatherfield playing criminal Jimmy Dockerson. Caroline Harding and Chris Gascoyne Chris, who played pub landlord Peter Barlow, married soap star Caroline in 2002. Although she is best known as an Emmerdale star, Caroline did visit her husband at work when she did a two-episode stint as doctor on the Manchester soap in 2020. The couple share a daughter called Belle, plus two children, Pip and Freddie from Caroline's previous marriage. Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed Nadine Mulkerrin, and Rory Doulas Speed are known for their Hollyoaks alter egos Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter. The loved-up pair got engaged on a December 2018 trip to Amsterdam - just over a year after they announced they were dating. They now share two kids, Reggie and Dougie. Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward Former Hollyoaks star Sophie, whose best known for playing villain Lindsay Butterfield, was introduced to singer and ex-Corrie star Shayne through mutual friends. She gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2016 and they welcomed a son in 2022. 'I see Corrie in my future and I'm hoping they [the show's producers] do [laughs]!' she said. 'Do you know what? If it was all to end tomorrow, I would literally be going out with the biggest thank-you, because I came in for six episodes and here I am. 'So there would be nothing but absolute gratitude. But let's hope not just yet! I'm loving it and I'm just grateful for every day.'

Sacred Mysteries: The artist's dangerous retreat from the world

David Jones, the poet and visual artist, almost ended his days in a residential hotel called Monksdene in Northwick Park Road near Harrow-on-the-Hill. He'd lived there on his own in a bed-sitting room for 20 years when in 1972 he broke his hip. So for the last two years of his life he was cared for by nuns of the Little Company of Mary at the Calvary Nursing Home. I've seen a good account of visiting Jones in his last years (his late seventies), in which a misprint calls it the Calgary Nursing Home. The difference is important, for Jones came to see creative work, such as painting or poetry, as united with the Eucharist, which collapses time and makes present the sacrifice accomplished by Christ on Calvary, where the cross was set up. And now David Jones features, along with Ludwig Wittgenstein and Simone Weil, in an enjoyably written book on an important subject: whether it is good for an artist – or anyone else – to retreat from the world. In The World Within, Guy Stagg (whose previous book was on walking to Jerusalem) writes about Wittgenstein as the Saint, Weil as the Martyr and Jones as the Hermit. Of course these roles are highly individualised by the three figures chosen. In pursuing Jones through his strange kind of hermit life, Stagg visited Caldey Island, now a Trappist monastery, where Jones stayed repeatedly in the 1920s and 1930s, when it was a Benedictine house, as his life took a decisive turn. Jones founded his morality, art and religion on his experience of the First World War, when he was in action for long periods. He admired the virtues of the private soldiers and was deeply affected by seeing, through the cracks of a shed, a priest in vestments saying Mass for men kneeling on straw. After the war, Jones learnt to be an accomplished wood-engraver and joined in with Eric Gill's commune at Ditchling, following him to Capel-y-ffin in Brecknockshire. Then came another crossroads. He was engaged to Gill's daughter Petra, but held back, worried about whether he could afford to marry and how he could continue his life as an artist. She at last wrote, saying she wanted to marry another man. I can never quite decide whether it was Jones's experiences in the war or the failure of his engagement to Petra Gill that left him with the depressions and agoraphobia that shrank his external life to a Harrow bedsit. These symptoms came upon him on his finishing the first draft of his long poetic account of the war, In Parenthesis. His was not a voluntary retreat from the world, but was imposed by his ill health. That did not mean it was no vocation. Stagg points out that a BBC film from 1965 picks out in Jones's crowded room an inscription in his masterly lettering combining in Welsh and Latin the phrases from the Mass Hostiam puram, hostiam sanctam, hostiam immaculatam – 'This pure sacrifice; this holy sacrifice, this perfect sacrifice.' When the BBC interviewer asked if, in his studio and living room, he was making his own world in the middle of this one, he answered: 'It's the only way I can do it.' Stagg wonders whether the last days of Wittgenstein, Weil and Jones – alone, without friends or family beside their beds – 'should serve as a model or a warning'. 'The promise of retreat,' he says in conclusion, 'is that we find our true selves, unhampered by the compromises of company, but I suspect there is more truth in the character that emerges through encounter.'
