They refused to believe she was 50 given her youthful looks but now Sally has confirmed her ageless secrets.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun's TV Mag, she said: 'Oh, it's no secret - I have fillers, I have Botox, facials…. I do all of it.,
'I'm really open about it. I don't think there's anything worse than someone promoting a cream saying: 'Buy this mega-bucks cream and your face will be as smooth as mine.'
'I'm like: 'Yeah, whatever.' So there's no cream - well, there is, but there are other things on top.
'I'm still marking my 50th. I've never really done birthday celebrations and I didn't want a big party because I'm not that kind of person.
'So I did lots of little things, and I'm still doing lots of little things. It's been lovely. I just feel like 50 is just going to get better and better and better.
'At 40, I had a massive crisis. I didn't like that at all. But turning 50 has really changed my mindset. I'm just thinking: 'I'm just going to hold things lightly.'
'If someone says something that's upsetting, I'm going to choose not to be upset. I'm just letting it wash over me and focus on what actually matters, you know, and that's the people around you, and those kinds of things. So far, so good.'
Sally's character Abi is currently going through a crisis of her own, having her head turned by brother-in-law Carl Webster with the pair set to have a passionate affair.
'Your readers will say: 'Stay with Kevin!'' smiles Sally, who was previously best known for playing Kelly Maguire in comedy-drama Shameless.
Soap star Sally Carman strips down to swimsuit on holiday with Coronation Street co-star
'He's given her a life and took a chance on her, so it's no wonder everyone's like: 'Don't you dare cheat on Kevin!'
'I mean, I feel the same! Abi loves Kevin, but Carl has awakened her feelings. She's been desperately trying to fight it because she knows what she's got to lose.
'In real life, Abi wouldn't be a friend of mine. I do like her, I think she's got great qualities - she's got a huge heart - but she's also a handful.
'And because she's emotionally immature, she gets very defensive, very upset, very hurt. I wouldn't want that in my life.'
Sally has also confirmed that she wants to stay on the cobbles for as long as bosses will have her.
Real-life soap couples
Soaps are renowned for their sweet and scandalous romances – but it's not just in scripted storylines where love is blossoming. A number of our favourite small-screen actors have fallen for co-stars and soapland rivals when the cameras have stopped rolling.
Max Parker and Kris Mochrie
Despite playing brothers Luke and Lee Posner on Emmerdale, the pair never actually shared any scenes together. But the pair still fell in love after meeting on set. Max and Kris got together in 2020, moving in together later than same year and got engaged in 2022. In a sweet Instagram post, the couple confirmed they're planning a 2025 wedding.
Beth Cordingly and Ian Kelsey
Beth, who plays Ruby Fox-Miligan, announced her love for her co-star Ian Kelsey, who played Dean Glover, shortly after she joined Emmerdale at the beginning of 2024. 'I am very in love with Ian and very happy. I think it really does work him being an actor too. He has been so fantastic," she gushed.
Laura Norton and Mark Jordan
Kerry Wyatt and Daz Eden actors Laura and Mark met on the set of Emmerdale in 2014. The couple, who got engaged in 2018, told Loose Women they spent a long time deciding whether they should "just stay as friends." Although it seems they were meant to be and the pair now share two children together.
Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley
Emmerdale favourites Zoe and Jeff, who play Rhonda Goskirk and Cain Dingle met at drama college in 1994 and have been together ever since. While working together might be too much for some couples, that's definitely not the case for Zoe and Jeff. Zoe previously told The Sun: "Working on the same show as Jeff also helps because if one of us is having a bad day then the other will completely understand."
Lesley Dunlop and Chris Chittell
Lesley and Chris are another Dales romantic success story. Unlike some of the other soap stars, the pair who play Brenda Walker and Eric Pollard, are together on and off screen, officially tying the knot in 2016. They also adore working together, but have clear home-work boundaries. "We make a point of not talking about Emmerdale when we're at home, though – that would be just too sad, wouldn't it?" Chris revealed.
Sally Carman and Joe Duttine
Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe actors Sally and Joe got together after meeting on the set of Coronation Street in 2017 and they tied the knot in July 2022. But unlike some of the Emmerdale stars, Sally and Joe prefer that their characters don't interact much. Sally previously admitted it "would be horrendous" to work on a storyline with Joe because "he's too funny."
Anthony Cotton and Peter Eccleston
Sean Tully may have been unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Antony's met his Prince Charming. The soap star started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie.
Jane Danson and Robert Beck
Corrie favourite Jane Danson tied the knot with soap star Robert Beck in 2005. The actress, who plays Leanne Battersby, shares two children, Harry and Sam, with the former Brookside star. During their marriage, Robert has also done a stint in Weatherfield playing criminal Jimmy Dockerson.
Caroline Harding and Chris Gascoyne
Chris, who played pub landlord Peter Barlow, married soap star Caroline in 2002. Although she is best known as an Emmerdale star, Caroline did visit her husband at work when she did a two-episode stint as doctor on the Manchester soap in 2020. The couple share a daughter called Belle, plus two children, Pip and Freddie from Caroline's previous marriage.
Nadine Mulkerrin and Rory Douglas Speed
Nadine Mulkerrin, and Rory Doulas Speed are known for their Hollyoaks alter egos Cleo McQueen and Joel Dexter. The loved-up pair got engaged on a December 2018 trip to Amsterdam - just over a year after they announced they were dating. They now share two kids, Reggie and Dougie.
Sophie Austin and Shayne Ward
Former Hollyoaks star Sophie, whose best known for playing villain Lindsay Butterfield, was introduced to singer and ex-Corrie star Shayne through mutual friends. She gave birth to their daughter Willow in December 2016 and they welcomed a son in 2022.
'I see Corrie in my future and I'm hoping they [the show's producers] do [laughs]!' she said.
'Do you know what? If it was all to end tomorrow, I would literally be going out with the biggest thank-you, because I came in for six episodes and here I am.
'So there would be nothing but absolute gratitude. But let's hope not just yet! I'm loving it and I'm just grateful for every day.'

Sonay Kartal relaxed in the spotlight as she prepares for Wimbledon's last 16
Laid-back Sonay Kartal is taking the Wimbledon spotlight in her stride – even if a trip to the shops proved trickier than usual. All eyes are on Kartal as the only British woman to reach the fourth round after Emma Raducanu's brave defeat by top seed Aryna Sabalenka on Friday night. Should she beat Russian veteran Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova on Centre Court on Sunday, the 23-year-old will become the first British woman to reach the last eight since Johanna Konta in 2019. Kartal was back on court on Saturday, playing doubles with her close friend and fellow Briton Jodie Burrage. 'She's definitely got more cameras on her now. I have noticed that,' said Burrage. 'That's expected, you know. 'It was nice to play a doubles match with that atmosphere. It was packed on that court. Unfortunately we couldn't get them going a little bit more because we lost. 'But it was fun. She is taking it like a champion. She loves the limelight.' Kartal rolls her eyes, not for the first time, as her pal gently teases her. But the Brighton pro's run in SW19 has captured the public's imagination, as she found out on Friday evening after her third-round win over Diane Parry. 'I went to the shops and it was a bit tricky,' she said. 'That's something I will have to get used to for the next few weeks. 'Listen, people think I don't like it as my whole life I have gone under the radar a bit, but I don't have an issue with being in the spotlight or not. 'If the spotlight is on you it means you are doing good things. I am taking it as a compliment.' It is not just Kartal's tennis that is the hot topic in south-west London, but also her tattoos. She got her 14th after winning her first match at the French Open last month and is now taking suggestions for ink number 15. 'I've had a few – Jodie's idea of having Centre Court was terrible,' she laughed. 'I won't get that. Someone said I should get the vintage polo top that I've been wearing, I don't know if it is possible. Maybe a fire and ice tattoo. I like that – but it would remind me of Jodie!' Kartal found out she will be making her debut on Centre Court on Sunday just before she played her doubles match, and she has no intention of it being her last time this fortnight. 'It's a huge honour to play on that court. A court that you dream of,' she said. 'The way I am looking at it is that it's a slightly bigger Court One. Warming up on Court One a couple of days ago will help me. I will feel much better walking out on Centre. 'I know I am far from finished yet. I have done one week – got another week to go to the finish line. 'There have been some crazy results. I have been given a good spot in the draw, things have opened up. I am excited and will enjoy every second.'

Pop star and former X Factor singer reveals he's cancelled show at Pride nearly a year after boyfriend's tragic death
AN X Factor star has revealed he has cancelled a planned Pride concert - almost a year on from the tragic death of his fiancé. Jaymi Hensley, 35, rose to fame as a member of hit boyband, Union J. 5 5 5 He has performed as a solo artist alongside his Union J duties but has revealed that he has cancelled a scheduled appearance at Worthing Pride for undisclosed reasons. Taking to Instagram, Jaymi typed out a message to his followers to reveal he would no longer be performing as originally planned. Jaymi said: "Guys I'm really sorry for those who were coming to see me but for personal reasons I'm unable to perform at Worthing Pride tomorrow. "I really hope you understand I never cancel unless it absolutely necessary." Jaymi did not add any further details on why he had pulled out of the performance at the LGBTQ+ event. Last year, Jaymi's world came crashing down following the death of his partner, Olly Marmon, 33, who plunged more than 30ft from their second floor hotel suite. Olly is understood to have fallen through a small open second floor window onto a footpath in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. Guests at the Hind Hotel rushed outside to try to save Olly but the stylist was later pronounced dead at the scene. A source close to the pop star's family said the tragedy was "unbelievable" at the time. Union J star Jaymi had been in a relationship with hairstylist Olly since 2009 and they got engaged in 2014. Emergency services rushed to the three-star Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northampton, after Olly fell at around 11.30pm. Olly's family shared photos of the star, along with tributes to their 'spiritual, gentle soul' who was 'beautiful both inside and out.' Jaymi was one of the founding members of Union J in 2011 - although the group was originally a trio known as Triple J. They auditioned for the ninth series of The X Factor, becoming Union J after fellow contestant George Shelley joined Jaymi, and bandmates JJ Hamblett and Josh Cuthbert. The foursome came fifth in the competition, which was eventually won by solo singer James Arthur - beating Rylan into fifth, in the same series as Ella Henderson. The group signed to Sony Music subsidiary RCA Records, releasing debut single 'Carry You' in June 2013. Their self-titled debut studio album followed in October 2013 and peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart. They left RCA Records in April 2014 and signed with Epic Records. A second LP, named 'You Got It All – The Album' came out the following December. George left the group in 2016 before Josh walked out two years later - leaving Jaymi and JJ as a duo, before the pair officially disbanded in 2019. They announced a reunion show at London Palladium in 2022 to celebrate Union J's 10th anniversary and a comeback tour - only for Jaymi to sensationally quit ahead of the gigs. 5 5

Lorraine Kelly stuns at Wimbledon with white summer dress alongside daughter
Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie spent a sunny day at Wimbledon, sharing cocktails and laughter amid the heatwave... Lorraine Kelly stunned spectators as she stepped out in a white summer dress while attending Wimbledon with her daughter Rosie. The 65-year-old TV presenter looked gorgeous, beaming with a wide smile as she enjoyed a cocktail and soaked up the lively atmosphere at the iconic tennis tournament. Dressed perfect for the sweltering temperatures, Lorraine embraced the summer sunshine wearing a midi sleeved white sun dress and stylish brown leather sandals. As temperatures climbed to 30 degrees, many fans struggled to stay cool but the TV personality appeared to be composed and enjoyed the sun. The Met Office forecasters had earlier predicted that this year's Wimbledon could mark the warmest ever start to the tournament on record. But that didn't seem to faze Lorraine and Rosie. Rosie mirrored her mum's style, wearing a sleeveless red flower patterned dress and some black wedges. The 31-year-old looked excited to be at the event as she smiled alongside her mum for photos. The pair looked relaxed and unbothered by the heatwave as they chatted and clutched their cocktails, enjoying their day out despite the scorching heat. Rosie welcomed her first child last September, alongside her fiancé Steve White. Billie Kelly Smith-White was born on August 29, making Lorraine a proud grandmother. Rosie and Steve announced the birth on Instagram, posting a cute picture of the little one grabbing onto Rosie's finger with the caption: "Baby Billie Kelly Smith-White is here. 29-08-2024." "It feels like she's been here the whole time and we're not quite sure what the point of anything was before. I'd heard how amazing midwives are but they are genuinely walking angels - she's been welcomed into the world with so much love already." Lorraine reposted the image, sharing how proud she was of her daughter and that she was "delighted to be Granny Smith" taking on a 'new adventure.' The TV host didn't stop there, as she invited her daughter and new grand-daughter on her ITV daytime show Lorraine to recreate a special moment, back in October last year. The family were joined on set by Doctor Hilary Jones to recreate a moment from three decades prior. Lorraine looked back at the moment she held a new-born Rosie on GMTV back in 1994. The footage showed a younger Lorraine with darker hair holding Rosie in her arms, as Dr Hilary offered her some advice on navigating parenthood for the first time. Thirty years later, history came full circle as Rosie returned to the Lorraine show, this time with her two-month-old daughter, Billie. Reflecting on a clip from three decades ago featuring baby Rosie on the same set, Dr Hilary remarked: "Goodness me. You can see the resemblance. Thirty years on. It's incredible." Lorraine agreed, adding: "Uncanny, actually.
