Tension grew online after a strong message was shared by Shaquille O'Neal on the
'Off The Record'
podcast on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Shaquille O'Neal, NBA legend and Angel Reese's mentor, lost his cool with former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III.
Robert Griffin III had shared a racist edit of Angel Reese's NBA 2K26 WNBA cover.
He also claimed Angel Reese secretly 'hates' Caitlin Clark, stirring controversy. Shaquille O'Neal's response? A bold, no‑nonsense warning aimed right at Robert Griffin III: back off Angel Reese or face the consequences. What happened next turns this from typical sports talk into something personal and intense.
What Shaquille O'Neal said to Robert Griffin III on the podcast
On July 15, 2025, Shaquille O'Neal appeared on the Bailey Jackson‑hosted Off The Record podcast and addressed Robert Griffin III directly. Shaquille O'Neal said,
'RGIII, tweet another monkey post about my girl Angel Reese and I'm going to punch you in your f**king face. K? It's enough. Like, I don't usually do stuff like this, but stop it, bro.'
Shaquille O'Neal made it clear he's close to Angel Reese calling her 'my girl' and referring to himself as her protector.
He said he even advised Angel Reese not to reply publicly, yet Robert Griffin III wouldn't quit. He added, 'You got your job, you got your podcast … Leave my Angel Reese alone.'
Robert Griffin III's post fuels Shaquille O'Neal fury
Robert Griffin III's posts started on July 10, when he reposted a photoshopped racist image showing Angel Reese as a monkey, supposedly to condemn racism. He also accused Angel Reese of secretly 'hating' Caitlin Clark, saying sources in her circle confirmed it.

Both Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have denied any real hate.
Robert Griffin III said he meant to show the racism, but critics called him out for amplifying hateful content to his 2.2 million followers. One X user remarked the original image had minimal reach until Griffin reshared it.
Shaquille O'Neal slammed Robert Griffin III narrative, saying '
That's not real hate—this is sports. I'm her protector … Now pick on me.'
He also criticized Robert Griffin III, saying
'if you're remembered for your podcast and not your playing days, you ain't shit.'

Woman who grew up with monkeys shares her life experience, 'They talk to each other in a language…'

In a world filled with unimaginable childhood stories, Marina Chapman's account of survival stands apart for one reason– it's real. No fiction, no folklore. Just a girl, left alone in the Colombian rainforest at the age of four, who survived by observing and imitating a group of wild monkeys. Her story, now widely discussed after resurfacing in recent interviews, is not framed by drama or exaggeration. It's a stark and honest recollection of what it meant to grow up completely disconnected from human society– and how instinct, silence, and the company of animals helped her endure. Now in her later years, Marina is speaking more openly about her past, not to shock or entertain, but to share what survival looked like when her only teachers were capuchin monkeys. A childhood cut short by abduction Marina's early life in Colombia took a traumatic turn when she was abducted from her village around the age of four, according to a report by UNILAD. The reasons behind the kidnapping remain unclear, but she was eventually abandoned in dense forest territory– alone, frightened, and unsure of what to do next. With no one to call for help and no knowledge of the jungle, she found herself surrounded by a troop of monkeys. Slowly, they became her silent guides. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Pensioners Can Buy These Electric Cars in Malaysia - See Prices Here! Electric Cars | Search Ads Search Now Undo Observing monkeys became her survival strategy In an interview with UNILAD, Marina explained that as the days passed in isolation, she realised that the only way to survive was by following the creatures around her. With no knowledge of edible plants or safe water sources, she began closely observing the monkeys' behaviour. "I didn't know what to eat except the water. And I noticed the monkeys used to eat things. They kept eating something, and I kept watching where they were getting this food, and it took me days to find out where they were getting the food," she told UNILAD. One monkey, she recalls, played an unexpected role in helping her find food by quietly stealing fruit from sleeping humans nearby. "Except one of them was a very good one. He used to go when some Indian people had fallen asleep, and they used to hear the sound of people falling asleep. And he went into their room, very quiet, and he got a lot of food out of these rooms with huge amounts of fruit. And it used to carry so much that he dropped it. And that was the first time I came out and found a banana or other things." This small moment would teach her how to find scattered food– and how to grab it fast. "And I pick it up quickly, but you better move quickly because if you don't, they take it away quickly. So I learned to eat as fast as I could, always." Adapting to the sounds of the forest Jungle life meant staying alert at all times. With no human interaction, Marina learned to understand the meaning behind different monkey sounds– many of which signalled food, threats, or movement. "I had to learn to recognise the sounds. The screechy one, you have to really be careful, you have to hide away. Many sounds mean something. The 'danger' one is the louder one, and then the whistle one is the 'food' one. And each sound means different things, but it took me a while to get used to it. I just learned from watching what they were doing every time I heard the sound." For Marina, these sounds became the difference between staying safe and getting hurt. There was no safety net, only observation and reaction. Found by hunters, but not freed According to the UNILAD report, at around age ten, after nearly six years in the forest, Marina was discovered by hunters. But rescue didn't mean relief. Instead, she was taken away and reportedly sold into a brothel. Her years of jungle survival were followed by fresh trauma in urban society. Eventually, she managed to escape and survive on the streets of Columbia for a period. Her journey from there continued through more difficulties, eventually leading to a new life. Her full story was first detailed in her book The Girl With No Name, published in 2013. Thumb image: Generated by Canva AI (only for representative purposes)

Rabil, former lacrosse star and PLL co-founder, publicly acknowledged Kirby's support during his Hall of Fame induction. Vanessa Kirby may be dazzling fans with her Marvel debut as Sue Storm in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, but it's her off-screen glow that's capturing equal attention. As she embraces impending motherhood and a thriving Hollywood career, curiosity around her relationship with former lacrosse star and entrepreneur Paul Rabil has intensified. Engagement Rumours According to Page Six, Vanessa Kirby got engaged to Paul Rabil two years into their relationship, with the news surfacing in December 2024. Despite the milestone, the couple has largely kept their romance low-key. Rather than indulging in grand public gestures, they've chosen to nurture their bond with quiet affection and mutual respect. In April, Kirby gave fans a rare peek into their relationship by posting endearing photos from a romantic getaway, showcasing the couple sharing intimate, heartfelt moments together. The couple made their first public appearance together at Paul Rabil's National Lacrosse Hall of Fame induction in January 2025. At the film's photocall in Mexico City in May 2025, the actress revealed her first pregnancy—cradling her baby bump in a moment that beautifully echoed her character Sue Storm's storyline, who is also expecting in the film. Adding to the sweet reveal, Kirby's partner Paul Rabil took to Instagram to celebrate the news, sharing a photo and the caption, 'Mum's a superhero,' perfectly blending real life with Marvel magic. This real-life milestone adds a touching meta-layer to Vanessa Kirby's Marvel debut. As she steps into the role of Sue Storm—a brilliant scientist and fiercely protective mother-to-be—Kirby brings an added depth drawn from her own experience of impending motherhood. A Deeper Connection to Sue Storm Kirby's Sue Storm is expecting her first child, Franklin Richards, with Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The parallel between her on-screen character and off-screen journey makes her portrayal all the more resonant. On Late Night with Seth Meyers, Vanessa Kirby shared that wearing a weighted prosthetic belly on set helped her better connect with the experience of pregnancy, despite the discomfort. Looks like Vanessa Kirby and Paul Rabil's downtime is on pause as they gear up for parenthood. Professionally, Kirby is entering a whirlwind phase—her MCU debut as Sue Storm arrives on July 25, 2025, in the much-anticipated Fantastic Four reboot. With major follow-ups like Avengers: Doomsday (2026) and Secret Wars (2027) already on the slate, Kirby is heading into one of the busiest—and most transformative—chapters of her life. Meanwhile, Paul Rabil has smoothly shifted from athlete to executive, now leading the Premier Lacrosse League as its president. As the couple prepares to welcome their first child, their low-key relationship continues to flourish—rooted in mutual respect and growing stronger as they build the foundation for their new family.
