Death toll from Algeria stadium fall rises to four
The fourth fan has died in hospital, where he was being treated for injuries sustained in the incident on June 21, the Algerian club posted on Facebook.
One spectator had died at the scene in the 5 July Stadium, in the capital Algiers, local authorities said, and the Algerian health ministry said two more had died from their injuries the following day.
Local media reports said the spectators fell after a fence in the upper stand broke, with El Heddaf TV's Facebook page posting a video showing part of a railing collapsing onto the lower tier.

Mamelodi Sundowns star joins Simba in shock transfer twist
Mamelodi Sundowns star Rushine De Reuck has officially joined Tanzanian giants Simba SC after parting ways with Masadawana, in a move that reunites him with former coach Fadlu Davids. The 29-year-old centre-back has signed a one-year deal and is set to arrive in Dar es Salaam on Sunday to begin pre-season training. Simba SC wasted no time bolstering their backline, with De Reuck coming in as a direct replacement for Cameroonian defender Che Malone Fondoh, who recently signed with Algerian outfit USM Alger. The club has also released captain Mohammed 'Shabalala' Hussein following the expiration of his contract. He is tipped to join fierce rivals Yanga SC. Centre-backs Hussein Kazi and Kelvin Kijiri have also exited. Signalling a defensive overhaul under Davids, who prepares for his second season in charge. De Reuck reunites with Fadlu Davids, with whom he previously worked at Maritzburg United. 'No offer made': Kaizer Chiefs forced to look elsewhere for goals
Kaizer Chiefs will not be signing Bafana Bafana striker Khanyiso Mayo as he is contracted to CR Belouizdad until 2027. Amakhosi were close to signing the talented forward last year, but the Algerian side beat them to it. The player's father and Kaizer Chiefs legend Patrick Mayo revealed that he did receive a call from Amakhosi regarding his son. Mayo's agent Basia Michaels told Soccer Laduma that the striker will not be joining Kaizer Chiefs this coming season. 'Khanyisa's currently got two years left on his contract with CRB. He is currently in Algeria. He arrived on Sunday, and they started training yesterday (Monday). I have had no communication with Chiefs about Khanyisa. The only communication I had with Chiefs was communication of the past,' Michaels told Soccer Laduma . 'At this present moment, this is not a thing. Why? Because Khanyisa has a contract at CRB. He's got two years left, and he's happy to stay there. He wants to continue that journey. I've received no offers for Khanyisa because he had just signed a deal a year ago,' he added. Kaizer Chiefs have signed six players already ahead of the coming season but the club feels they need to sign another striker. So far, Flavio Silva is the only forward the club has.
