Bad Company's Mick Ralphs dies aged 81
A message on the band's official website said Ralphs is "survived by the love of his life, Susie Chavasse, his two children, three step-children", as well as his bandmates Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke.

Guitarist, songwriter and Bad Company co-founder Mick Ralphs has died at the age of 81, it has been announced.
A message on the band's official website said Ralphs is "survived by the love of his life, Susie Chavasse, his two children, three step-children", as well as his bandmates Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke.
Bad Company was formed in 1973 after the members of the bands Free, Mott The Hoople and King Crimson joined forces.
A statement from singer Rodgers on the website said: "Our Mick has passed, my heart just hit the ground. He has left us with exceptional songs and memories. He was my friend, my songwriting partner, an amazing and versatile guitarist who had the greatest sense of humour.
"Our last conversation a few days ago we shared a laugh but it won't be our last. There are many memories of Mick that will create laughter. Condolences to everyone who loved him especially his one true love, Susie. I will see you in heaven."
Drummer Kirke said: "He was a dear friend, a wonderful songwriter, and an exceptional guitarist. We will miss him deeply."

Ralphs' final performance with Bad Company was in October 2016, with the musician suffering a stroke the following month.
Free members Rodgers and Kirke had enjoyed success with their 1970s hit song All Right Now.
Ralphs had been part of Mott The Hoople, famed for their 1972 song All The Young Dudes, which was penned by David Bowie.
Vocalist and guitarist Raymond 'Boz' Burrell had been performing as part of rock band King Crimson.
Bad Company are due to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this year.
The group rose to fame in 1974 with their self-titled debut album which included hits such as Can't Get Enough and Movin' On.
The album reached number three in the UK albums chart and went five-times platinum.
Bad Company later released Straight Shooter in 1975, followed by Run With The Pack, and both made it into the top five in the albums chart.
They were also known for rock anthems including Ready For Love, Rock Steady and the title track Bad Company.

Among those paying tribute to the late guitarist was Joe Elliott, lead singer of the hard rock band Def Leppard, who shared a post on the group's X account saying: "I just heard the news ... totally heartbroken ... Mick has been a constant companion through my musical journey & he was one of the kindest souls I ever met. The world is a poorer place today."
David Coverdale, lead singer of Deep Purple and then Whitesnake, said on X: "Heartbreaking News...Loved Mick ...Sweet, Sweet Man & Super Songwriter...My Sincere Condolences To His Family, Friends & Fans."
In another post, he added: "Mick Ralphs was the first person I played the original song idea to Love Ain't No Stranger before I played it to the band...he was super encouraging...A total sweetheart."

Fears for Coronation Street family as they vanish without a trace
Craig Tinker (Colson Smith)'s killer Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) is a man on a mission in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, as he hatches a plan to break out of jail and go on the run with his family. When Mick gets reports that, back on the cobbles, his family is falling apart he decides he has to do something. We've seen a struggling Lou (Farrel Hegarty) taking increasingly desperate measures to get cash. Meanwhile Brody (Ryan Mulvey) is struggling after having recently discovered that his biological father is Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and not Mick, who brought him up. And Brody's sisters Shanice (Molly Kilduff) and Joanie (Savanna Pennington) are increasingly being cared for by Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine), as Lou is failing to cope. So Mick comes up with a plan to get his family back together again and enlists Brody's help. 'He feels like it's the one thing he can do,' Ryan Mulvey told us. 'He's promised his mum, he's promised his dad that looking after the family is now his job and that's why he's doing everything to keep them together. He feels like that's his duty as a brother, his duty as a man, to keep them together. He has got morals and he does know it's wrong, but he'll definitely blindside that to try keep his family together and keep his loved ones close.' Brody's part of the plan is to get Shanice and Joanie from the Metcalfes, but when he gets there Sally tells him that Tim has taken Joanie to an open day at Weatherfield High. ITV Coronation Street's Farrel Hegarty teases Lou Michaelis return and shares her one desire
Farrel Hegarty has revealed that she was 'really sad' to film her final scenes as Lou Michaelis in Coronation Street and has shared her dream storyline for the character. Coronation Street 's Farrel Hegarty has opened up about her hopes for character Lou Michaelis should she make a comeback to the Cobbles. The actress is set to depart from the ITV soap just a few months after her first appearance as Lou, who arrived in Weatherfield in February alongside her husband Mick, quickly becoming known as the new 'nightmare neighbours'. They took up residence on Mawdsley Street, behind Chesney and Gemma Winter-Brown's home, marking the first time Corrie has expanded its drama across the ginnel, with the couple immediately causing a stir. The plot thickened dramatically when Mick shockingly murdered PC Craig Tinker while on duty, in harrowing scenes broadcast in May which left fans devastated, as reported by the Manchester Evening News. As viewers reel from Mick's incarceration, it's been revealed that he will stage a daring prison escape leading to a tense hostage situation as he desperately seeks freedom. While Mick's fate on the show seems sealed, either through fleeing or returning to prison, the details surrounding Lou's departure remain uncertain. Farrel, also known for her TikTok fame, has shared her feelings about shooting her last scenes, telling Inside Soap: "It was really sad. "On your last day on set, they give you a little round of applause. Julia [Goulding, aka Shona Platt] is one of my best mates and she popped round the corner. You know when you see your mate and it just makes you upset? I saw her little face and I burst into tears!" Farrel recalled, opening up about her emotional farewell on the set. When questioned about her ideal storyline for Lou if she were to return, Farrel expressed her wishes: "I would love to see what she's capable of without Mick.
