'General Hospital' Fans Tell Beloved Star 'Do You Boo' After Shocking Announcement
Kristen Storms (Maxie) dropped the bombshell that she's taking a step back from General Hospital for a while. As Parade reported, the actress revealed that she's leaving Los Angeles and has wrapped filming the ABC soap for the year.
The news comes after Nicole Paggi was temporarily cast as Maxie on General Hospital. Storms confirmed she would be the one playing Maxie for her exit storyline, which will play out later this summer.General Hospital fans flooded Storms' Instagram post after she announced her departure, and there was nothing but love for the actress.
'I just want to say I love YOU, Kirsten, so much!! ❤️ Take care of you and your girl!' said a fan. One fan kept it simple writing, 'Do you boo.'
Another fan had more to say to the soap star, stating, 'Kristen go live your best life, no matter what you say, or how you say it. Some negative person is going to try to tell you what to do, and how to do it. We Love You and respect your decisions. That is no one else's business but yours. We will be waiting for your return whenever you decide to return. These entitled people are too much.'
'I am so glad that you are not leaving the show. You are the only 'Maxie' to me!!♥️,' read one remark. A different fan shared, 'Gurrl, you look fabulous❣️ Thank you for letting us know what's going on. You do you😘😘😘😘😘.'
General Hospital fans made it clear that Storms will be 'missed' as Maxie. 'You will be missed. But ENJOY your life!!!!!❤️' and 'We're going to miss you. 😢' were a couple of those comments.
There's no question that Storms is the only Maxie for fans, and they let the actress know just that.
'Nobody does Maxie like you! Congratulations on the move and please come back,' said one fan. Another fan expressed, 'Best of luck, Kirsten! You will be missed. There's only one person who could play Maxie. Looking forward to your return in the future.'
A different fan declared, 'Oh that's great. Congratulations on your move but if they're really gonna bring Nathan back, I can't have a substitute Maxi. It's just wrong. I need real maxi and real Nathan back together not the substitute. Lol.'
That comment refers to Ryan Paevey recently getting fans hyped up about a possible return to the ABC soap.
Life in Port Charles will certainly be different without Maxie, but we can't wait to see how General Hospital writes her out amid Storms' exit from the show.
General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.

Michelle Obama wishes a happy 64th birthday to ‘the coolest guy I know'
Michelle Obama wished a happy birthday to the 'coolest' man she knows. Fortunately for Barack Obama, the former first lady was referring to him. 'Happy birthday to my love, my best friend, my everything! @BarackObama, even after all these years, you're still the coolest guy I know,' she wrote on Instagram Monday night. The 44th president turned 64 on Monday, and thanked his wife and her 57 million Instagram users for their birthday wishes. 'Love you, Miche! And thanks everybody for all the birthday wishes,' the two-term commander-in-chief responded. His 61-year-old wife posted the same message on her Instagram Story, though that post was accompanied by audio of Stevie Wonder singing his 1980 song 'Happy Birthday.' She recently shut down rumors that she and her husband of nearly 33 years were having marital problems because gossips don't see a lot of photos of them together these days. 'It's like, 'OK, so we don't Instagram every minute of our lives. We are 60,' she told NPR's 'Wild Card' podcast. 'We're 60, y'all. You just are not gonna know what we're doing every minute of the day.' _____
