Forgotten reality star who 'disappeared' for over a year reemerges to share shock news: 'I'm nervous'
The former Bachelor Australia star, who was runner-up in the dating show's third season, has been on a social media hiatus since February 2024, however she broke her silence to share the exciting baby news.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the brunette beauty, 37, posted a video on of her and her longtime partner Jake Meah waiting for the result of a pregnancy test.
'You're nervous aren't you?' Jake asked Lana, who giggled and responded: 'Yeah, I'm nervous. Are you ready?'
As Lana picked up the test, there was a brief silence before she asked Jake: 'What does that mean?'

'I think that's pregnant,' he replied, pointing out the two lines on the test.
The couple shared a sweet kiss before Lana said: 'I think I already knew anyway.'
'A new chapter begins,' the former reality star captioned the post.
'We are overjoyed and filled with excitement! #andbabymakesthree.'
Lana looked radiant in the video, wearing a red and white patterned dress and her hair slicked back bun.
The couple, who live in Sydney, have been together for sixteen years but have been keeping a very low profile of late.
After finding fame on The Bachelor Australia in 2015, Lana became well-known for her various brand deals and aesthetic travel content on social media before she dropped off the radar over a year ago.
She was famously blindsided and left heartbroken on the show after making it to the finale, only to be dumped by Sam Wood.
Speaking to Channel Ten's Studio 10 back in 2015, Lana got emotional as she recounted the moment.
When then-host Ita Buttrose asked if she saw it coming, Lana said 'no' - revealing she genuinely thought Sam would choose her.
'Of course I did (think it was me),' she said.
'I'm an optimist.
'I think in the moment I was really composed and I was really surprised when I watched it last night.
'It's actually harder to watch it than be in it.
'A lot of people anticipated I would be the girl in the end and it's been hard,' she continued, explaining she has 'been stuck in that moment' for four months after filming and now it's time to start 'moving forward'.

Horrified MAFS star hits back after cruel troll branded two year old son ‘overweight'
MARRIED At First Sight star Michael Brunelli has hit back at cruel trolls called their two-year-old son "overweight". The fitness trainer, 33, and wife Martha Kalifatidis, 37, found love on season six of the Australian show and welcomed their first child Lucius in February 2023. 4 Michael shared a recent sweet photo of him cuddling their little boy, but one follower posted a comment questioning the toddlers health. They wrote: "You might want to watch his weight. Looks overweight to me." Michael screenshot the shock message and shared it with her fans. He hit back at the person, writing: "Imagine looking at a photo of a toddler and thinking the best course of action is to comment "better watch his weight. "That's not concern,' the father-of-one wrote. 'That's real-life brain rot.' "If you're wired to see a happy, healthy two-year-old and think 'fat', you shouldn't be around children. "Get help. Touch grass. Drink some water. "And keep your projections the f**k away from mine." Michaels fans were quick to write supportive messages to the dad-of-one, while slamming the follower for being inappropriate. One wrote: "Imagine body shaming a literal f**king two-year-old. What's wrong with the world? Bubba is happy and healthy and absolutely f**king gorgeous!" A second posted: "Some people are disgusting. My daughter and I are obsessed with how gorgeous your son is! Well replied." While another follower shared a touching message, writing: "I see love. I see joy. I see beauty." In January, Martha addressed speculation that she was expecting their second child. Taking to Instagram from the family's Thailand getaway - following a two-week-long social media absence - Martha clarified that she and Michael are not expecting another child at the moment. Despite the buzz, the couple are focused on their little one Lucius and enjoying their time as new parents. Alongside some sun-soaked snaps from the trip, Martha wrote: "Hi everyone. Im not pregnant (thanks for asking tho) I was just having some time off in Thailand. It was swell, missed you all." Martha had a tough pregnancy after being diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum at five weeks. It's a severe morning sickness condition, which was also suffered by Kate Middleton. Martha said at the time: "It hasn't been this exciting, wonderful time for us. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining. "We are so excited, we are so happy, it was a complete surprise. But at five weeks I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum. "Which is severe chronic nausea and vomiting with no relief. It is 24-7. I literally didn't get out of bed for two months." Martha revealed that the horrifying sickness meant she lost ten kilograms in weight in just a matter of weeks. "We have been in and out of the emergency room and hospital," she said, before revealing she was being treated with "life-changing" medication to tackle the nausea. Martha and Michael got together on the 2019 series of MAFS Australia and are one of the few couple that are still together. They join a small number of MAFS stars who have had children with someone they were matched with on the show. Zoe and Alex from series one had a daughter called Harper, before they split up. Jules and Cam from series six had a son called Oliver, and series eight stars Bryce Ruthven and Melissa Rawson have twins, Levi and Tate. 4

Footy legend Joel Selwood takes a brave step after losing two of his AFL star brothers in twin tragedies
Former Geelong AFL star Joel Selwood will return to work in commentary this weekend after taking time off when his brother Adam's tragic death shook the footy world to its core. The AFL community was left reeling after the suicide of the former Eagles premiership star on May 17, just three months after the tragic suicide of his identical twin brother, Troy. Joel was devastated by the double tragedy, later posting a social media tribute to Adam saying alongside photos of the family and the words: 'Rest up, love you brother. Look after each other.' Joel has been on leave since the shocking incident, but will be back with the Channel Seven commentary team on Sunday for St Kilda's clash with Melbourne at Marvel Stadium. The Selwoods are widely regarded as one of the most celebrated families in the sport with brothers Joel, Adam, Troy and Scott, each enjoying distinguished footy careers. Troy played 75 games for the Brisbane Lions between 2003 and 2010, before becoming an assistant coach with Geelong. Throughout his career, the Lions tagger never took a backward step. He was courageous, showed an elite footballing intelligence and competed for every challenge that presented itself. Off the field, he was seen by many as an outstanding individual, who was compassionate, kind and loved the game. Adam made 187 appearances for the Eagles during his career and played a key role in helping the club win the 2006 AFL Grand Final. He joined the footy club in the 2002 National Draft and would enjoy a 10-year career in footy's top-flight competition, mostly playing as a tagger, before hanging up his boots in 2013. Adam had led the tributes for his twin brother Troy, at his memorial service at Geelong's GMHBA stadium earlier this year. Adam described his brother as 'full of life, full of love, full of wisdom beyond his years.' 'Having an identical twin is a both a rare privilege and wonderfully complex,' he said. 'A twin is more than a sibling. They are a constant presence, a built-in mate. 'He was my mirror, my fiercest competitor, my greatest ally and the one person who knew what I was always thinking.' After his retirement in 2013, Adam would continue to work in football taking up a role as a development coach with the West Coast. He'd later become the inaugural head of the Eagles women's footy side and was pivotal in bringing key AFLW players to the club.
