However, the actress confidently stated that she didn't feel any 'loss' but gratitude that the old lady is safe and she can now walk the red carpet with a story worth sharing. According to her, the perspective to look at things and shape narratives is the true strength.
Urvashi mentioned that she opted not to make her Cannes appearance just for her bold style, but for the powerful story behind it. She shared that when her gown was torn yet instead of panic, she embraced the moment as one of purpose and perspective.
Urvashi Rautela further admitted that rather than letting a wardrobe mishap define her, she stepped onto the red carpet with her head high, embodying grace, strength, and national pride. Meanwhile, the actress walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival for the second time. She opted for a stunning black silk taffeta gown from Naja Saade Couture.
Urvashi also met Orry at the event. The latter took to social media and shared a video where they are seen having a blast dancing to Dabidi Dibidi, a song from her film Daaku Maharaj and Orry getting caught up in the whirlwind of Urvashi Rautela's gown.

New Delhi: Actor Soni Razdan's "Difficult Daughters", produced by daughters Alia and Shaheen Bhatt, is among the four films from India selected for this year's Asian Project Market at the Busan International Film Festival. The indie film also lists Alan McAlex and Grishma Shah as producers. Cannes-winner Payal Kapadia and her "All We Imagine As Light" actor Kani Kusruti have teamed up with "The Great Indian Kitchen" director Jeo Baby to back "Last of Them Plagues". The film, directed by Kunjila Maschillamani, is also part of the list alongside Saurav Rai-directed "Lanka" (The Fire) and "Moon" by Pradip Kurbah. "Lanka" is produced by Sudeepta, Sadhukhan, Viraj Selot and Ankita Purkayastha. Asian Project Market, the largest co-production and financing platform in Asia, plays a vital role in discovering emerging talent and connecting them with global investors. This year APM received a record-breaking 455 submissions from 44 countries and selected 30 projects from 15 countries. The line-up also includes several other filmmakers who have previously been at the Busan International Film Festival, including Kurbah whose "Iewduh" won the Kim Ji-seok award at the festival in 2019. Bangladeshi filmmaker Biplob Sarkar is also returning with LGBTQ -themed "The Magical Men" after screening his debut feature "The Stranger" at the festival in 2023. The Busan International Film Festival runs from 17 to 26 September and the APM will be held from September 20 to 23.

Actor Kalki Koechlin has spoken about her personal encounters with the casting couch, highlighting both subtle and overt instances of sexual harassment she has faced within and outside the film industry. In a recent interview, Kalki shed light on how such experiences are often brushed aside or normalised, even though their psychological impact can be her first disturbing experience, she recalled an incident from her student days in London when she was working as a promo girl for Nokia phones at the Cannes Film Festival. An Indian producer, who knew someone connected to my mother, invited me to his film screening. Later, he asked me out to dinner.
