Nicola Peltz and her in-laws closer than ever amid tense Beckham family rift
Much has been made of the tense fallout between Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham against his family. The couple married in a lavish ceremony in 2022 under happier times, with all of 26-year-old Brooklyn's family present and correct at the nuptials.
But soon after, rumours began to emerge of a rift between the couple and his famous parents; the former footballer David Beckham, 50, and former Spice Girls singer Victoria Beckham, 51. More recently, family dramas reached a new peak as speculation erupted that Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, had fallen out with his brothers Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20 - while many fans noticed the couple seemingly snubbed David's 50th birthday celebrations.
While the dramatic fallout continues to generate headlines, some fans have questioned how Nicola gets on with her other in-laws. As the daughter of billionaire businessman Nelson Peltz, 83, and his model wife Claudia Heffner Peltz, 70, the Transformer star is one of eight siblings.
She is the sister of brothers Matthew, 40, Will, 39, Brad, 35, Diesel, 27, twins Zachary and Gregory, 22, and a sister named Brittany, 31. With her brothers and sister also enjoying high-profile romances, it is claimed that Nicola gets along much better with her side of the family than with the Beckham clan.
Here we look at Nicola and Brooklyn's friendships with some of her extended family.
Will Peltz and fiancée Kenya Jones
TV and film fans may recognise Nicola's older brother Will, 39, who has starred in big and small screen dramas including Men, Women & Children, Entourage, and Euphoria. Where there has been no drama, however, is between Will, his fiancée, and his younger sister.
He has been in a relationship with American fashion model Kenya Kinski-Jones since 2011 - and in recent weeks they became engaged. They shared the happy news on social media, with Kenya writing: "Just engaged. My whole heart for my whole life," with Nicola enthusiastically adding: "Best news ever!"
It is believed Nicola - who has a matching tattoo with Will which reads "family" in Hebrew - and Kenya are very close friends. They attended The Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards in 2016 and have holidayed together, along with Brooklyn and Will in 2022.
In 2024, when Kenya's father Quincy Jones died at the age of 91, Nicola was one to offer her condolences. In an emotional Instagram post, she wrote: "Quincy, my heart is shattered I can't comprehend saying goodbye to you so I won't, I will say see you later."
Nicola continued: "You were truly a gift from God. The legacy you have left here on earth is not only your musical genius that has touched the hearts of millions of people, but the most beautiful children that you raised - the Jones family, my family - I am so beyond grateful to know them. Quincy, I can't believe I got lucky enough in this life to grow up knowing your love, wisdom, laughter and light. The twinkle in your eye perfectly matched your smile and lit up this world. Your humour was unmatched, and you made me laugh more than anything. I miss laughing with you.
"I love you so much q I will miss you every single day and everyday I will be reminded of your beauty through your unbelievable children. I promise to look out for Kenya for the rest of my life. She is my chosen sister and has your magic running through her. Love always your pita."
Zach Peltz and girlfriend Aislinn Carnes
Nicola's youngest brothers are twins Zach and Gregory and while they are professional ice hockey players, they generally keep themselves out of the spotlight. However, some details of Zach's private life - and his closeness to Nicola - have been revealed.
He is in a loving romance with Instagram model Aislinn - with the pair occasionally posting loved-up snaps together. The pair shared a photo of their NYE kiss in 2023 and another snap showed them with their arms around each other.
Their posts draw attention from the Peltz family who like the snaps and offer rare comments. In one post shared at Thanksgiving, Nicola responded with a string of heart eyed emojis to a photo of her brother and his girlfriend snuggled together.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports: "Brooklyn is fond of Zach and Aislinn as the four have previously spent time together in fun-filled images."
Bradley Peltz and former flame Selena Gomez
Fans looking for proof that Nicola is able to balance her family loyalties with close friendships - the evidence they seek is in her continued friendship with pop singer and actress Selena Gomez. While the Only Murders In The Building star is now engaged to music producer Benny Blanco, she was previously linked to former ice hockey player Bradley, 35.
Brooklyn is also close to Selena, and the trio has been known to spend time together socially. Selena even celebrated Thanksgiving with Brooklyn and Nicola one year, with fans noting that Brad was also present at the celebrations.
The Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast previously delved into the speculation about Selena and Brad back when rumours of a romance were ablaze.
One fan claimed: "Streets saying Selena Gomez dating Brad Peltz omg." And another commented: "Selena is dating Brad Peltz?" - while fans also noted how frequently the pair were liking each other's social media posts.
Selena began her relationship with Benny in 2023 and became engaged at the end of last year. Nicola and Selena also follow each other on Instagram.
Matthew Peltz and Hallie Dunn
Nicola's oldest brother, Matthew, has been married to his wife, Hallie Dunn, since 2018, and the couple welcomed a son in 2020. The couple keep themselves largely out of the spotlight, but it is believed Nicola is close to them and loves being an aunt to toddler nephew Asher Lion.
Nicola shared a social media snap about the growing family not long after Asher arrived, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. She wrote online at the time: "Watching my big brother and his beautiful wife Hallie become new parents is incredible ,especially during this scary time. I hope all the new parents and babies are safe."
Nicola's other siblings, Brad, Diesel and Gregory, are very fame shy, but fans could expect Nicola and Brooklyn to be closer to them than they are to his family. While Nicola and Brooklyn wished his sister Harper Seven Beckham a happy birthday earlier this month, it has been noticed that they have unfollowed Cruz and Romeo, fuelling speculation that the rift between the family members may be terminal.

American bombshell 'top name' for next Bond Girl after rapid rise to fame
She's one of the hottest names in showbiz right now, and it looks like Sydney Sweeney is in the running for the biggest role of her career. The blonde bombshell rose to fame in The Handmaid's Tale, later gaining wider recognition in Euphoria and The White Lotus. And with huge roles like the female lead in Anyone But You opposite Glen Powell and a viral moment in the divisive superhero flick Madame Web, it's no surprise that her name has fallen onto the desks of James Bond bosses. Consequently, Sydney is rumoured to be a contender for the next Bond Girl. Not only that, but she already has the backing of Jeff Bezos, whose Amazon acquired creative control of the 007 franchise earlier this year, taking over from Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. According to The Sun, 27-year-old Sydney is close pals with new Bond director Denis Villeneuve, meaning she's already in with all the right people. A source told the publication: 'Sydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond. 'Denis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernising the franchise. 'They've hung out together a lot, and he has admired her stratospheric rise.' 'Plus, Sydney has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of Bond girls,' added the insider. Indeed, Sydney recently took on arguably her most challenging and physically demanding role to date, playing trailblazing boxer Christy Martin in her biopic. Sydney, who has experience in MMA and combat sports, gained 30Ibs for the part, saying her body was 'completely different' by the end of her transformation. So, she certainly has both the beauty, brains, and brawn to be Bond's next addition, and with her recent attendance at the Bezos wedding, plus looking cosy with former Bond gal Ana de Armas at last year's Toronto Film Festival, you'd be forgiven for already starting to put pieces together. As for her competition, previous actresses tipped for the coveted Bond Girl role include Florence Pugh, who is a hot favourite after working with Villeneuve on Dune 2. Other names floating around include Sydney's Euphoria co-star Zendaya, Bad Sisters actress Eve Hewson, Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan, and ex-Corrie fave Michelle Keegan. The Bond Girl role was first played by Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder in the 1960s, while later actresses include Jane Seymour, Barbara Bach, Eva Green, Michelle Yeoh, Maud Adams, and Halle Berry. As for the Secret Service agent himself, it is yet to be announced who will step into Daniel Craig's shoes after he bowed out in 2021's No Time to Die. Currently, Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the runaway favourite, and he has been for a while. The 35-year-old Bullet Train star has seemingly fuelled speculation on several occasions, most notably by signing a deal with Omega, the luxury watch brand that's featured in Bond films since 1995's Golden Eye. And at the 28 Years Later premiere in London last month, he played coy when Deadline asked: 'What are you doing next?' 'I can't talk about it,' he replied before being escorted away. Other than the Kick-Ass star, Theo James, Henry Cavill, Jack Lowden, James Norton, Josh O'Connor, Regé-Jean Page, and Paul Mescal are all potential Bonds, according to the bookies. Jonathan Bailey, Jacob Elordi, Tom Holland, and Timothée Chalamet have also been mentioned in reports. It is not yet known when a decision will be finalised on who our next 007 is, but it's been claimed Amazon is getting closer by the day. Aaron Taylor-Johnson – 11/8 Callum Turner – 16/1 Harris Dickinson – 12/1 Henry Cavill – 10/1 Jack Lowden – 5/1 James Norton – 12/1 Sam C. Wilson – 16/1 Scott Rose-Marsh – 6/1 Theo James – 4/1 Odds taken from Ladbrokes. Just days ago, Mike Hopkins, head of Amazon MGM Studios, brought Bond back to everyone's attention when discussing Villeneuve coming on board. More Trending 'We are honoured that Denis has agreed to direct James Bond's next chapter,' he said. 'He is a cinematic master whose filmography speaks for itself.' The four-time Oscar-nominated director, who is a long-time Bond fanatic, is famous for his work on Arrival, Blade Runner 2049, and the Dune franchise. There's no denying he brings plenty to the table, given how his movies have grossed more than $1.8billion (£1.3bn) worldwide. Got a story? Practical Magic star snubbed by bosses for 2026 sequel as her role is 'recast'
Evan Rachel Wood played Sandra Bullock's character's daughter in the 1998 romantic fantasy movie, but her offer to star in the upcoming sequel in any capacity was declined With Practical Magic confirmed for a sequel in 2026, both of its lead actresses, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock will return as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens. But Evan Rachel Wood, who played Sally's daughter Kylie Owens in the 1998 movie, will not reprise her role, with the actress being spectacularly snubbed by producers. Despite her character still playing a part in the upcoming film, her role has been recast, according to the Westworld star, 37. The actress announced the news on Instagram Stories, typing out a post to explain her absence from the next instalment of the beloved story. The actress wrote: "I am getting asked about this a lot, so l'll just clear it up now; I was not asked to come back and be in the #PracticalMagic sequel. l offered my services, even if it was one scene or one line." She continued: "I was told they are re-casting. I am sorry to disappoint the fans. It was not in my control or my choice. I would have happily rejoined my sisters." In the movie, her character Kylie and her younger sister Antonia go to live with their aunts after their father dies. But it seems bosses have already picked out Wood's replacement. Deadline reports that 25-year-old American actress Joey King will take on the role of Kylie Owens. Joey, who portrayed Gypsy Rose Blanchard in Hulu's series The Act, is set to join Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams as part of the renewed cast. In February this year, Nicole, 58, remained tight-lipped about the progress of the new film, which is expected to drop in 2026. Chatting with Variety, she said it was "moving ahead rapidly." But when pressed for details about a script, she told the interviewer: "I'm not answering anymore, you can ask Sandy." Presumably referring to her co-star Sandra Bullock, she added: "I love Sandy!" When asked when she would start shooting, she again refused to answer. Nicole prompted the interviewer to 'ask Sandy, my beautiful Sandy.' When asked if she ever thought she would be doing a sequel to Practical Magic, she cryptically answered: "Well were not doing it yet," adding again it was "moving ahead rapidly, just needs a little magic." Nicole Kidman confirmed the news of the much-awaited sequel last year, revealing that she and co-star, and close friend, Sandra Bullock would be once again joining forces once again. In an interview with People magazine, Nicole dished: "Yes I will be in it. And Sandy will be in it. And that's that." She added: "There's a lot more to tell which is why we go, 'OK, this is kind of interesting now to be able to do this.'" Kidman also hinted at the creative process, saying, "(We) found a way in." The buzz around the sequel grew when Warner Bros. teased fans with a social media post after the film hit streaming services, referencing the iconic "midnight margaritas" scene. The filmmakers said in a statement: "Twenty-five years ago, Sally, Gillian, Aunt Jet and Aunt Franny flew off the pages of Alice Hoffman's beloved novel and into theaters around the world, and we are thrilled to bring the Owens family back to the big screen with Joey, Lee, Maisie, Solly and Xolo joining the next chapter in our story."
