Apple's work-from-home powerhouse is 24% off… and about to go extinct

Hard-hitting MacBook deals are rare. People love their products and will happily buy them at full price, so sales aren't as incentivized as with other products. So, when we see a $400 savings on the most powerful version (the 24GB of RAM one) of the MacBook Air M3, dropping its price from $1,699 to $1,299, we love it. And that's exactly what's happening as part of this early Prime Day deal and one of the most exciting laptop deals in recent dates. Tap the button below to see it for yourself, or keep reading to get all of the details about the MacBook Air M3, what we discovered when we used it ourself, and why this deal may be the last of its kind.
Why you should buy the 24GB RAM MacBook Air M3
From a zoomed-out perspective, the 15-inch MacBook Air products, with either the M2 or M3 chip inside, have long been considered some of the best work from home laptops. The reasoning is simple — they're affordable MacBooks with decent speakers and a great battery life in case you want to hustle at the coffeeshop. If you're an Apple fan, have one of the best iPhones and keep up with AirPods deals, these laptops are made for you.
But, it gets better.
When looking through those work from home laptops, we were happy to recommend the 16GB RAM and M3 chip version. The laptop we see on sale today is the 24GB RAM and M3 chip version, a significant upgrade. To put it into perspective, our 2024 RAM guide considers 16GB to be for 'top-tier machines.' This MacBook Air with 24GB has professional grade mechanics and will absolutely withstand your Chrome-tab-hoarding tendencies.
But, it's going extinct.
As we recently reported, the M3 and M2 MacBook Air laptops are disappearing for good now that the 10/10 MacBook Air M4 is out and about. That means that this chance to get a 15-inch MacBook Air M3 with 24GB of RAM isn't just a chance to get it for $400 off (making it $1,299, not $1,699). It makes it one of your last chances to get it. Period. So, if you want this deal (or a MacBook Air M3) be sure to tap the button below while you can.

Trump Signs Tax-and-Spend Bill Into Law at White House Ceremony

By and Jennifer A Dlouhy Save President Donald Trump signed his $3.4 trillion budget bill into law Friday, enshrining an extension of tax cuts, temporary new breaks for tipped workers and funding to crack down on illegal immigration. The package encompasses a suite of priorities Trump campaigned on in 2024 — and its enactment at a White House ceremony represents a major political victory for the president whose second term was marked until now by executive rather than legislative action.

CEO Michael Dell Cashes Out 10 Million Shares

July 4 - Last week, Michael Dell (Trades, Portfolio) (NYSE:DELL), CEO and founder of Dell Technologies, sold 10 million shares at $122.27 apiece for roughly $1.22 billion. Following the divestiture, Dell retains about 27.29 million shares in the company. Private equity firm Silver Lake Group meanwhile disposed of 10,681 Dell shares at $120.33 each, netting nearly $1.29 million. Silver Lake continues to hold just over one million Dell shares. Insider sales can prompt caution, yet they often reflect portfolio rebalancing rather than a signal on corporate health. In Dell's case, the CEO's sale may simply diversify personal holdings, not undermine confidence in future growth. The sale comes as Dell aims to accelerate investments in cloud and AI initiatives, areas that executives consider pivotal for long?term expansion. Investors will likely digest these disclosures ahead of Dell's upcoming earnings report and weigh them against broader trends in the technology sector. This article first appeared on GuruFocus. WhatsApp Business Just Got Smarter -- Voice Calls and AI Recommendations Are Here

Meta (META, Financials) is quietly turning WhatsApp into a full-blown business engine; this week, the company rolled out voice call support for large businesses using WhatsApp Business and signaled deeper integration of AI features, including product recommendations and smart customer support. Warning! GuruFocus has detected 6 Warning Sign with META. The update marks a shift. Small businesses could already use WhatsApp to call customers; but until now, larger companies were left out. With this new API rollout, businesses can now place and receive calls and layer in AI-powered voice agents via startups like Vapi, ElevenLabs, Coval, and Phonic. That means customer service can happen around the clock; no live agent required. And that's just the beginning. Meta is also expanding its AI-based chat support tools, which were being tested with select merchants in Mexico. More companies will now be able to automate conversations; send follow-ups; and even handle outreach all within WhatsApp. One of the most promising updates? AI-powered product suggestions. After a user chats with a merchant, Meta's AI can now recommend relevant items and follow up on those conversations in real time essentially turning WhatsApp into a smart shopping assistant. Right now, these AI features are free; but that may not last forever. Meta already earns revenue from click-to-WhatsApp ads and business messaging tools; and monetizing voice AI or product recommendation bots seems like a natural next step especially as usage scales. The company says WhatsApp Business now serves over 200 million users monthly. As these tools roll out, Meta is clearly laying the groundwork for a platform that helps businesses engage, transact, and scale without ever needing a separate call center or CRM.
