The animated mythological film, which opened at just Rs 1.75 crore on Day 1, has now soared to a total of Rs 106.2 crore by Day 12. What's even more impressive is the huge jump during its second weekend, with Day 10 (Sunday) alone collecting Rs 23.1 crore, as reported by the Sacnilk website. Myth meets momentum Mahavatar Narsimha tells the tale of the demon king Hiranyakashyap, who declares himself god, only to be defied by his own son, Prahlad, a staunch devotee of Vishnu. Ashwin Kumar's direction and storytelling have been widely praised for balancing tradition with visual spectacle. It continues its dominance into the second week. Regional language versions have also steadily picked up momentum. The film is getting magnificent response from the viewers. 'Kingdom' box office collections day 7: Vijay Deverakonda's action drama fades fast; mints Rs 44.44 crores

Reportedly over its first week, the film witnessed a sharp decline in collections. The movie wrapped up Day 7 with a total of Rs 44.44 crore. A promising start, but a quick dip According to the Sacnilk website, after a strong Thursday, the Friday dip was steep as it came down by nearly 58%. Although there was a slight recovery over the weekend, the film couldn't maintain its grip through the weekdays. By Monday, the numbers had plummeted to just Rs 2 crore, with Tuesday and Wednesday following the same downward trend. Kingdom - Official Telugu Trailer Brotherhood meets betrayal Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri , 'Kingdom' follows the story of Constable Surya 'Suri,' played by Vijay Deverakonda, who finds himself in an undercover operation in Sri Lanka. The plot takes a gripping turn when Suri's own brother becomes involved in a political conspiracy. It drags him into a dangerous game of loyalty and betrayal. Even though the film had a good content, several criticisms aimed at it's lack of emotional connection with the characters. OTT release update Despite underwhelming box office numbers, all eyes are now on the film's digital release. According to Deccan Chronicle reports, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights to Kingdom, although the platform hasn't officially announced the premiere date. With the theatrical run winding down, the OTT release could give the film a second life—especially among viewers who may have skipped it in theatres. The film also stars Bhagyashri Borse, Satya Dev, and Ayyappa P Sharma in key roles. While Kingdom may not have made the kind of theatrical splash fans were hoping for, it is surely one of the best films in Vijay Deverakonda's film career.

Bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma productions, the film struggled to gain momentum through the weekend, and even passed to fail the Monday test. Dhadak 2 began its run with Rs 3.50 on Day 1, followed by Rs 3.75 and Rs 4.15 on Day 2 and Day, respectively.
