Lexus LFR Supercar Interior Revealed
new Toyota/Lexus sports car duo
is back for day two at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Both the road-going model and its race car counterpart have already climbed the famous hill again, but what really caught our attention was the post-run interview with the development drivers.
We've learned that the cars have been in the works for over four years, with circuit testing kicking off about a year and a half ago. They're still not quite finished, but judging by the interior, the official reveal can't be far off. Since there are no press shots available yet, we'll have to make do with screenshots from the livestream, which show the cabin of the street-legal version.

The two-tone dashboard hosts a decently sized touchscreen and what appear to be physical switches located just below. Unfortunately, there are also some piano black accents and hexagonal side air vents. Much like the instrument cluster, the rearview mirror is digital, displaying footage from a rear-facing camera. Overall, the cabin feels more like that of a true sports car compared to the
RC F
it's supposedly replacing.
That would make sense, considering the LFR is believed to be a road-going version of the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT3.
Lexus
still won't confirm what powers the two-seater coupe, but based on the sounds both cars are making at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, a V-8 seems highly likely. Whether it's twin-turbocharged and/or hybrid remains to be seen, though that's what reports from Japan are claiming.

The GR GT3 is expected to start racing in 2026, four years after the
namesake concept
debuted at the Tokyo Auto Salon. That suggests the wait is nearly over, not just for the race car, but also for its street-legal counterpart. The Toyota version will likely remain track-only, while the Lexus is expected to be the one with a license plate.
Look for both to be revealed either later this year or in early 2026.

Motorway shut after serious multi-vehicle crash
A major motorway was shut in one direction after a serious collision involving multiple vehicles. National Highways said the M40 northbound in Buckinghamshire was closed at about 01:30 BST. The closure was in place between Beaconsfield and the Denham interchange, which connects motorists with the M25. "We expect the road to remain closed until 08:00, possibly longer," a Highways spokesperson said. "This is due to a serious collision on approach to junction two involving several vehicles." Police, fire and ambulance services all attended the scene and a diversion was put in place. The Denham interchange at junction 1a is used by motorists wanting to access London Heathrow Airport. Joining with the M25, it also provides onward journeys to the M1, M4 and M11. National Highways advised motorists to factor delays into their journey times. 2026 Subaru Uncharted Review: Expert Insights, Pricing, and Trims
Subaru's electric vehicle lineup expands with the introduction of the 2026 Subaru Uncharted, a compact electric SUV that's smaller than the Solterra. With its unique name, this new addition pushes Subaru further into the world of off-road-capable electric vehicles. Top-Ranked Competitors: Hyundai Kona Electric Volvo EX30 Chevrolet Equinox EV Performance Like the Solterra and Toyota C-HR Electric, the Uncharted rides on the latter automaker's e-TNGA architecture. The SUV will receive standard dual-motor AWD, as well as drive modes for snow, dirt, and mud. It should produce plenty of power, too. Because of its relatively small size, slotting under the Solterra in Subaru's lineup, you can think of the Uncharted as the Crosstrek of the electric SUV lineup—basically the smallest of the bunch. If it gets standard cargo space comparable to the C-HR Electric, that means about 25.4 cubic feet behind the second row. That's almost the same as the Kona Electric, which gets 25.5 cubes, and more than the 2025 CrossTrek, which comes with 19.9 cubic feet of cargo capacity. Technology Infotainment Pulling again from the C-HR's specs, as well as from the updated Solterra, look for the Uncharted to feature a 14.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Dual wireless phone chargers and front and rear USB ports will also be included. Sound System The base setup gets six speakers. Subaru will also offer an eight-speaker Harmon Kardon upgrade. Cooperation these days is mostly on electric SUVs, like the Toyota bZ/Subaru Solterra, Toyota bZ Woodland/Subaru Trailseeker, and Toyota C-HR Electric/Subaru Uncharted. The roots of the partnership go back even further, however. For 2012, Subaru introduced the fun-to-drive BRZ RWD sport coupe, virtually identical to the Toyota-produced Scion FR-S, which ultimately became the Toyota GR86. This first car from the team-up entered its second generation for 2021 and is still available today.
