
‘Peddi': Shivarajkumar's look from Ram Charan's film unveiled
The film's production house, Vriddhi Cinemas, took to its X account on Saturday to share a new poster featuring Shivarajkumar's look. The veteran is set to play Gournaidu in the movie.
Earlier, during Ram Navami, the makers also released a teaser titled 'Peddi First Shot,' where Ram Charan was seen in a rugged look, lighting a beedi and walking through a dusty field as people cheer for him. He lights a beedi and says, 'I have only one life to live, and I want to make the most of it.'

Peddi is directed by Buchi Babu Sana and also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. The movie will also star Mirzapur fame Divyenndu in a significant role.
The makers had earlier unveiled the actor's first look from the upcoming movie. Peddi is produced by director Sukumar's home banner, Sukumar Writings, while the music is composed by Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman. Meanwhile, Ram Charan was last seen in Game Changer, directed by S Shankar, which also starred Kiara Advani in the lead role.

The video shows the actor tearing up, only to complete a hauntingly genuine goodbye and farewell to Kota Garu, folding his hands before the deceased. The footage shows the veteran actor visibly overwhelmed with grief, unable to hold back his emotions. Decades of on-screen bonding Brahmanandam and Kota Srinivasa Rao have worked together over many decades onscreen in several different films, many of which exist as reference for leading classics of Telugu cinema. Ever modest, Brahmanandam did his part to keep audiences laughing, while Kota garu made everyone else feel, in every role he undertook, be it as the villain, a politician, or a supporting character. Vijayawada: Legendary film actor and former legislator passed away in Hyderabad on Sunday. He was 83 and is survived by wife and two daughters. He breathed his last at his residence in Filmnagar, Hyderabad, in the early hours of Sunday after battling illness for several days. Kota Srinivasa Rao, a versatile actor and influential figure in Telugu cinema and politics, shared a deep and emotional bond with the city of Vijayawada. Born on July 10, 1942, at Kankipadu in Vijayawada, he spent his formative years in and around the city, which remained close to his heart throughout his life. He often said that every time he visited Vijayawada, it felt like coming home. Kota made his film debut in 1978 with Pranam Khareedhu, and over the decades, he became a beloved figure in Indian cinema, known for his powerful performances in both villainous and comedic roles.
