Despite Game Changer's box office disappointment, Ram Charan has already moved on to his next ventures. He is currently shooting for Peddi. Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, may have failed to deliver at the box office, but the controversy surrounding the film continues to escalate. Recently, producer Shirish Reddy landed in hot water after comments he made about Ram Charan sparked backlash from fans. In a viral statement, Shirish had reportedly claimed that Ram Charan had not contacted the team after the film's release. The remark triggered strong reactions from the actor's admirers and quickly became a talking point on social media. Following the uproar, Shirish issued a clarification, apologising for the misunderstanding and expressing his admiration for the actor. 'We had the full support and time of 'Global Star' Ram Charan for Game Changer. We have a close relationship with the family of Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu, and we would never say anything that would damage their reputation. I truly apologise if anything I said offended anyone," he said in a new statement. He also reiterated that there was no intention to question Ram Charan's professionalism or commitment to the project, which was directed by Shankar. Veteran producer Dil Raju, who is Shirish's cousin, also addressed the matter. He stepped in to clarify that Shirish was speaking publicly for the first time and had become emotional while discussing the financial loss caused by the film's underperformance. 'Shirish was speaking publicly for the first time. He used words that were misinterpreted because he was overcome by the circumstances. His statement was made without malice," Dil Raju explained. He is currently shooting for Peddi, which co-stars Janhvi Kapoor and is helmed by Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana.
