Delhi High Court allows Rajpal Yadav to travel to Australia for film promotion

India Gazette24-06-2025
New Delhi [India], June 24 (ANI): The Delhi High Court has granted Bollywood actor Rajpal Naurang Yadav permission to travel abroad to attend promotional events related to his upcoming film 'Mera Kale Rang Da Yaar'.
The Court allowed Yadav to visit Melbourne, Australia, from June 27 to July 5, 2025, after considering an application filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS).
Vacation Judge Justice Rajneesh Kumar Gupta passed the order on Monday, stating that the actor may travel subject to certain conditions. Yadav had been invited by Black and White Motion Picture Pvt. Ltd. to participate in promotional activities for the film in Australia. His counsel submitted the official invitation and flight tickets as part of the application.
The Court also noted that Yadav had been permitted to travel abroad on earlier occasions and had complied with the conditions previously imposed.
While granting travel permission, the Court directed that Yadav must submit a Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) of Rs 1 lakh with the Registry of the Court as security. He must furnish his mobile number and email ID, which are to remain operational during the trip. His contact details are to be shared with the Investigating Officer in the case.
The passport currently deposited with the Trial Court is to be released for the travel period and must be re-submitted upon his return. Additionally, the passport of Yadav's brother, Chander Pal Singh, will be deposited before the Trial Court as further assurance.
The actor is currently involved in a legal case, the sentence for which was suspended by the High Court in June 2024. At the time, the Court had observed that the Yadavs were not hardened criminals and advised them to consider settling the matter amicably with the complainant company. The case is presently under consideration before the Delhi High Court Mediation Centre. The matter has been listed for further hearing before the Roster Bench on July 8, 2025. (ANI)

Gaurav Taneja, aka Flying Beast, denied a house a day before moving in because owner thinks he committed child abuse

YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, better known as Flying Beast online, revealed that he was denied a house despite having paid the advance for it, because the owner spotted an old news article about him. In 2022, an article that called into question his character was posted online, and after Gaurav filed a lawsuit, the publication in question was directed to take the article down. It made a reference to alleged child abuse, after Gaurav pierced the ears of his elder daughter on camera. The Court ruled that piercing a child's ears doesn't qualify as abuse. More recently, Gaurav was also involved in a controversy surrounding his wife, Ritu Rathee. It was rumoured that the two were headed for a divorce. He said that both these stories still exist online, and can paint him in a negative light. In his latest vlog, he spoke about moving houses, and said, 'Let me tell you about the tragedy that happened with us. Yesterday was supposed to be our last day in this house. But we are still in this house, and we'll probably stay here for four or five more days. Everything has been packed, but the house that we were supposed to move into, they cancelled our deal at the last minute. Everything is packed in the house, but we don't have a place to move.' It sounds insignificant, but imagine. Now we have to look for a new house. Let me tell you what happened. The house was finalised, we'd paid the security deposit. Then, the man we were leasing the house from must have googled me. Somebody forwarded him a link and said, 'This guy is evil, he's been accused of child abuse'. This was the lawsuit that happened a few years ago, when the Delhi High Court told a newspaper to take down an article about me. Articles from that time still exist online, and the guy saw one of them. He refused to give us the house.' Gaurav concluded, mentioning the controversy around his relationship with Ritu, 'Social media is so powerful. Even the divorce controversy that happened, lots of meme pages and paparazzi pages posted stuff about our separation. Those videos were circulated to millions, and it doesn't matter that I made a clarification later, because millions still believe that I'm a bad guy.' Ritu clarified the rumours in a video, and said that nobody has the right to comment on their relationship. Reacting to the rumours, Gaurav had shared on social media, 'I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don't expect any public explanation.' He added, 'Men are made villains very fast. Social media is not a place to discuss family matters. I have nothing to say.'

'He will be able to sleep well,' says Sean Diddy Combs lawyer after rapper acquitted of sex trafficking charges

Washington, DC [US], July 3 (ANI): After music mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges following a high-profile federal trial in New York City, his attorney has spoken out about the verdict, reported E! News. Combs was found guilty of prostitution-related offences but acquitted of his sex trafficking and racketeering charges on July 2. His attorney, Anna Estevao, called the verdict a "huge win" for the music mogul even as he was denied bail, according to E! News. "He was acquitted of sex trafficking, acquitted of RICO conspiracy," she said outside a Manhattan courtroom, adding, "He will be able to sleep well at night knowing that," as per the outlet. Combs' verdict comes after two months of courtroom testimonies from witnesses from his past, including the 55-year-old ex, Cassie Ventura, according to E! News. The split verdict was announced on Wednesday. Combs has been convicted on "two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution and could face up to 20 years in prison if he is sentenced to consecutive maximum prison terms." If he had been found guilty of sex trafficking or racketeering, he could have spent the rest of his life behind bars. Combs' legal team said the government failed to prove the major charges. The trial, which began in May, lasted several weeks and included testimony from 34 witnesses. One of them was Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, Combs' former partner of 11 years. She testified while nearly nine months pregnant and spoke in detail about alleged abuse and "Freak Offs" -- which prosecutors described as forced sex events involving male sex workers. Kid Cudi also offered his testimony in Diddy's trial, accusing the Grammy winner of breaking into his home and blowing up his car with a Molotov cocktail in retribution for his brief romance with Ventura in 2012. Meanwhile, though Combs has been acquitted on the most serious counts, the music mogul's legal troubles are far from over, as he still faces several dozen lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct.
