Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction leader Anil Parab has demanded the resignation of Maharashtra's Minister of State for Home, Yogesh Kadam, over serious allegations related to an illegal dance bar and sand mining. Speaking to the media, Parab claimed that a dance bar is being operated in the name of the minister's mother, tarnishing the image of the state and the government. He also said that he has submitted all the related evidence directly to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and urged immediate action against Kadam. According to Parab, CM Fadnavis has assured him that the matter will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken based on the evidence.
When asked about the meeting between Parab and Fadnavis, Kadam replied, 'I have cleared my stand to my leadership. I don't pay attention to who is meeting whom. We have given that space on rent. I am only focusing on my work and nothing else."
Parab reiterated that he had earlier raised the issue of the controversial dance bar during the session, stating it was not only illegal but being run in the name of Kadam's mother. 'This is not just a matter of moral misconduct, it directly damages the reputation of the government," Parab said.

He also highlighted multiple police raids on the said dance bar — specifically on August 10 and May 28 in 2023, and May 31 in 2025. During these raids, police reportedly detained 22 bar girls, 22 customers, and seized large amounts of cash. 'These establishments have a record of repeated violations. As per the law, the owner is held accountable for any illegal activity. Therefore, Minister Kadam must resign," Parab demanded.
In addition to the dance bar issue, Parab also submitted alleged evidence regarding illegal sand mining reportedly linked to Kadam's aides. He claimed that the extracted sand is being dumped on the premises of Yogita Dental College in Khed, and a man named Akit Mukadam has been actively involved in the operations. Parab also submitted video footage allegedly showing a transport department official using an e-challan machine to collect unauthorised payments. He further pointed out that the Bombay High Court has issued a show-cause notice in the sand mining case, noting that no permission was granted for the excavation. 'I have given a copy of the court's direction as evidence. Now it is up to the Chief Minister to examine the material and take a call," Parab said. Mayuresh Ganapatye

Nepalese woman beaten by mob on suspicion of theft in UPs Bareilly, 4 arrested

Agency: PTI Last Updated: Bareilly (UP), Aug 3 (PTI) A Nepalese woman, who had come to Bareilly in search of a job, was allegedly beaten by a mob on suspicion of theft, police said on Sunday. The woman, identified as Sushmita Saru Magar alias Kajal, hailing from the Pokhara district in Nepal, was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, they added. According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday night when the woman was staying at the house of an acquaintance, Vinay Gangwar, in Baradari. She had stepped onto the terrace around 1 am while on a phone call when some residents mistook her for a thief. Quila police station officials said the residents raised an alarm, shone torchlights toward her, and chased her. Frightened, she tried to open the terrace door. Failing to do so, she jumped off the roof in panic and fell to the ground. She was then beaten with sticks by the mob. A video of the incident surfaced on social media, showing the woman pleading with folded hands, repeatedly saying, 'I am not a thief," but the mob continued to assault her. Senior Superintendent of Police (City) Manush Pareek said that based on the video evidence and the victim's complaint, a case has been registered, and four accused — Gaurav Saxena, Shivam Saxena, Aman Saxena, and Arun Saini, all residents of Baradari — have been arrested. Efforts are on to identify and arrest the remaining accused, he said. The victim told police she used to work in Noida but had lost her job and had come to Bareilly through a known contact to look for work. During the attack, two of her teeth were broken, and she suffered injuries to her leg, she said. Police have assured strict action against those involved in taking the law into their own hands. Can Soul Return In Another Body? Spooky Reincarnation Tales Of 2-Yr-Old US Boy, 4-Yr-Old Indian Girl

Last Updated: One case is of Shanti Devi, a woman born in 1926 who reportedly remembered her past life as Lugdi. When it comes to the idea of what lies ahead after death, many people still believe in reincarnation. Time and again, cases appear that convince a section of society that the human soul reincarnates in another body after death. Recently, two videos discussing claims about reincarnation have grabbed attention. One of the clips details the situation of a young Indian girl who reportedly fascinated even Mahatma Gandhi. The other is about a boy in the US. The clip in question details the story of Shanti Devi, a woman born in 1926. When she was four years old, Shanti began talking about her past life in Mathura, which was located 75 miles away. She told her parents that in her earlier life, she was called Lugdi and that she died shortly after giving birth to a son in October 1925. Her parents wrote to Lugdi's husband, Kedarnath, who confirmed what Shanti was saying. Her parents took Shanti to Mathura, where she led them and a team of researchers to her old house. SHe also recognized Lugdi's parents in a crowd. The case even caught the attention of Mahatma Gandhi. He asked a commission to look into the case. The commission found 'no rational explanation" for the matter. Shanti Devi's story was detailed in a 1994 book by Swedish author Sture Lonnerstrand. The book was translated into English in 1998. US Boy's Claim About Being Lou Gehrig In 2009, a boy named Christian said he was a baseball player called Lou Gehrig, who was nicknamed 'The Iron Horse.' His parents initially dismissed his statements. Later, Christian saw a photo of baseball icon Babe Ruth and claimed that he was 'mean" to him. Christian also identified Gehrig from a team photo and said this is what he used to look like. At that time, he was two years old and did not have exposure to baseball. His mother, Cathy Byrd, investigated the matter and found startling similarities, which she later detailed in a book titled The Boy Who Knew Too Much. Gehrig died in 1941 due to ALS. Christian remembered his demise in detail and also knew information that was not in public, like the names of Gehrig's parents. By the time he was five, Christian's memories about Gehrig began to fade. top videos View all The idea of reincarnation continues to fascinate many people. Cases like these are frequently cited by individuals who believe in the idea. While nothing can be proven about what lies ahead after death, these cases demonstrate that many people continue to see reincarnation as a factor for incidents which cannot be explained. tags : reincarnation us viral view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: August 03, 2025, 10:00 IST News viral Can Soul Return In Another Body?
