‘Is That A Dog Driving?': Husky Found Behind Wheel In Mumbai Traffic Jam

Last Updated: It appears the owner had left the pet inside the parked car at Lokhandwala Main Market in Mumbai. A bizarre incident from Mumbai has taken the internet by storm. Amid a traffic jam at Lokhandwala Main Market, Andheri West, a car caught everyone's attention. No, not because of its make or model, but because of who was in the driver's seat. Surprisingly, it wasn't empty. Sitting comfortably behind the wheel was a dog. Yes, you read that right! The dog in the driver's seat sparked a mix of amusement and disbelief online. The video, shared on Instagram, captures a red car parked right in the middle of the street. It is a busy area, and the car's placement caused a major traffic block. A bus and several cars were stuck behind it, honking in frustration as they tried to move forward. A Husky In The Driver's Seat The twist? It was a husky behind the wheel. It appears the owner had left the pet inside the parked car. As traffic chaos unfolded around the vehicle, the pet remained calmly in the driver's seat, leaving bystanders both amused and bewildered. The viral video capturing the scene does not reveal the car's owner, and it remains unclear why the vehicle was left parked in such a busy spot. Adding to the mystery, the car's number plate is obscured in the footage. The clip was posted with a caption that read, 'Car parked right in the middle of Lokhandwala Main Market, causing major inconvenience. Shockingly, a pet dog was left sitting on the driver's seat. This kind of careless & irresponsible parking deserves the choicest of punishment." Here's How The Internet Reacted The video has crossed over a lakh views and sparked varied reactions online. Some users were amused while others expressed concern. One user wrote, 'What a cutie pie! But this is so dangerous – leaving him alone in the car like that." Another added, 'The iconic Lokhandwala Road, where you can learn the art of not following traffic rules, especially to park to block the flow of traffic!! Real-life anti-parking game." 'He's in the driver's seat?? Are we sure he didn't drive there as well? He seems more sensible," someone joked while a person added, 'Lokhandwala has literally gone to the dogs." There were also more serious comments with an individual writing, 'Take a photo and upload to Mumbai Traffic App. The challan will be issued against the offence." 'Sadly, this is the state of the entire Mumbai. People just park anywhere, leaving very little space to drive. Suddenly, there's been traffic everywhere for the last 1-2 years because of this. No action being taken by traffic police," read another comment. The incident comes just weeks after a heartbreaking case in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh, where a five-year-old pet Labrador died of suffocation after being left locked inside a parked car in the heat while its owners visited a temple. Bitchat vs WhatsApp — New App ‘Without Internet' Sparks Discussion: ‘How About Phone-Free Sitchat'

Last Updated: Bitchat follows a Bluetooth Low Energy mesh networking system, creating a local web of connected devices. A message sent through Bitchat is split into tiny chunks of data packets. Imagine life without WhatsApp. Impossible right? From the moment we wake up until we turn off the lights, it's our constant companion. WhatsApp helps us to stay connected with family, friends, colleagues or distant acquaintances and over time has become the primary mode of our daily conversations. But, seems like the Meta platform has now got some competition. Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey has launched a new decentralised messaging app for iPhone users, which, unlike traditional apps, is designed for offline communication. One of the most unique features of Bitchat, a peer-to-peer messaging application, is that it can be used without cellular data or Wi-Fi. The only element you need to have on your phone is Bluetooth. Users are able to send messages directly between devices nearby through the medium. Bitchat follows a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mesh networking system by creating a local web of connected devices. First, Bitchat recognises each other over Bluetooth. Unlike WhatsApp or Telegram, texts are not sent using external servers. A message sent through Bitchat splits into tiny chunks of data packets using LZ4, a lossless data compression algorithm, and broadcasts them over Bluetooth using BLE advertisements. If the recipient is nearby, within 30 metres, their phone picks up these chunks and reassembles them into the original message. However, when the receiver is out of range, the message 'hops" from the sender's phone to another before finally reaching its intended destination. The best part? Messages sent and received through Bitchat are end-to-end encrypted. Additionally, the texts exist only in device memory by default. Each message has a Time-To-Live (TTL) limit, which means it expires after some time, ensuring enhanced privacy. Take a look: Internet Reaction Social media users were quick to react to the post. 'This would be amazing for finding your friend at a massive music festival or anywhere where a huge number of people puts a strain on the cell towers, virtually making them useless," noted one person. 'I built 'Sitchat' too. Here, no phone is required. Just 2 people sitting side by side and chatting," read a playful remark. 'Why does it sound similar to Pied Piper from Silicon Valley?" wondered an individual, hinting at Steve Jobs, who was commonly referred to by the name thanks to his visionary leadership in the world of tech. 'Game is gonna change again," commented another user. The post has so far received over 9 million views. What are your thoughts on Bitchat? 'Sonalika Tractor' Uses Actress Monalisa's Pic For Bihar Residence Certificate. This Happens Next

Curated By : Last Updated: July 29, 2025, 23:08 IST In Bihar, not just a four-legged canine, but even an inanimate tractor seems to be vying for a residence certificate. (X) After the now well-known 'dog babu', another incident came into limelight from East Champaran district where an application had been moved in the name of one 'Sonalika Tractor' by using the photograph of Bhojpuri actress Monalisa, news agency PTI reported. The applicant allegedly submitted a photo of the popular Bhojpuri actress along with a residence certificate application under the name 'Sonalika Tractor', claiming descent from 'Swaraj Tractor' and 'Car Devi'. Upon verification, the authorities confirmed the application to be entirely fake. After Dog Babu, Sonalika Tractor received a residence certificate in Bihar with actress Monalisa's picture. Bihar is truly ahead of its time. DeshPremi (@shiromani2103) July 29, 2025 The fake application copy has gone viral on social media, triggering widespread discussions and criticism over lax verification procedures. Superintendent of Police Swarn Prabhat clarified that the online application dated July 17 was never entertained and a manhunt has been launched for the mischief monger. An FIR was registered at Kotwa police station, and the matter has now been handed over to the Cyber Crime Cell for deeper investigation, the report added. 'The application was rejected by the Circle Officer of Kotwa as soon as it was received. But the matter also involves the wrongful use of a photograph downloaded, apparently, from the internet. Hence, a case has been lodged at the police station concerned", the SP added. 'No certificate has been issued against the application. We are now trying to track down the user through the IP address. When caught, he will face action under the relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyay Samhita and IT Act," he added. Earlier on Monday, a similarly outrageous case came to light in Masaurhi (Patna), where a residence certificate was issued in the name of 'dog babu', born to 'kutta babu' and 'kutiya devi', much to the embarrassment of the administration, which got it promptly annulled. Moreover, besides lodging of an FIR, a computer operator was sacked for unmindfully forwarding the application and suspension was recommended for the revenue department official who heedlessly went on to issue the certificate. Dance Bar, Sand Mining Allegations: Anil Parab Meets CM With Complaints Against Minister Kadam

Reported By : Mayuresh Ganapatye Last Updated: July 29, 2025, 19:45 IST According to Parab, CM Fadnavis (above) has assured him that the matter will be thoroughly investigated. (File) Shiv Sena Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction leader Anil Parab has demanded the resignation of Maharashtra's Minister of State for Home, Yogesh Kadam, over serious allegations related to an illegal dance bar and sand mining. Speaking to the media, Parab claimed that a dance bar is being operated in the name of the minister's mother, tarnishing the image of the state and the government. He also said that he has submitted all the related evidence directly to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and urged immediate action against Kadam. According to Parab, CM Fadnavis has assured him that the matter will be thoroughly investigated, and appropriate action will be taken based on the evidence. When asked about the meeting between Parab and Fadnavis, Kadam replied, 'I have cleared my stand to my leadership. I don't pay attention to who is meeting whom. We have given that space on rent. I am only focusing on my work and nothing else." Parab reiterated that he had earlier raised the issue of the controversial dance bar during the session, stating it was not only illegal but being run in the name of Kadam's mother. 'This is not just a matter of moral misconduct, it directly damages the reputation of the government," Parab said. Swipe Left For Next Video View all He also highlighted multiple police raids on the said dance bar — specifically on August 10 and May 28 in 2023, and May 31 in 2025. During these raids, police reportedly detained 22 bar girls, 22 customers, and seized large amounts of cash. 'These establishments have a record of repeated violations. As per the law, the owner is held accountable for any illegal activity. Therefore, Minister Kadam must resign," Parab demanded. In addition to the dance bar issue, Parab also submitted alleged evidence regarding illegal sand mining reportedly linked to Kadam's aides. He claimed that the extracted sand is being dumped on the premises of Yogita Dental College in Khed, and a man named Akit Mukadam has been actively involved in the operations. Parab also submitted video footage allegedly showing a transport department official using an e-challan machine to collect unauthorised payments. He further pointed out that the Bombay High Court has issued a show-cause notice in the sand mining case, noting that no permission was granted for the excavation. 'I have given a copy of the court's direction as evidence. Now it is up to the Chief Minister to examine the material and take a call," Parab said.
