The Puerto Rican superstar (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) put on an electrifying show for a euphoric, sold-out audience on opening night, fusing reggaeton, Latin trap and Puerto Rican folk sounds with heartfelt moments honoring his culture — even featuring a quaint Boricua home onstage.
'Show them from the start where the gladiators were born,' reggaetón pioneer Ivy Queen wrote in Spanish on Bad Bunny's IG post announcing the residency. 'Proudly representing from the heart of the neighborhood, where we can vibe to the beat of drums, the bass of a car speaker, or even acapella — we bring the energy anywhere! Historic moment, my pollito stepping up with pride and showing off what it means to be Puerto Rican! That huge Pisces heart is coming through strong! Let's gooooooo!'
The first three weeks of the residency (July 11–27) are restricted to Puerto Rico residents before opening up to tourists.
'[This residency] will position Puerto Rico as a premier entertainment destination,' Jorge L. Pérez, the general manager of Coliseo de Puerto Rico, previously told Billboard Español. 'It will open the eyes of visitors who have never come to Puerto Rico. It will create awareness of Puerto Rico as an entertainment and leisure destination.'
Planning to come to Bad Bunny's residency? Here's the ultimate travel guide with everything you need to know before you arrive.
(His new surprise single, 'Alambre PúA,' which he debuted at the show but was mistakenly left out of our original post, has also been added to the beginning of the setlist.')

Kelly Clarkson Duets With Daughter River Rose on ‘Heartbeat Song' During Vegas Residency Show
Kelly Clarkson turned her Friday night (July 18) performance at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace into a family affair. During her Studio Sessions residency gig, the talk show host and pop superstar invited 11-year-old daughter River Rose out to join her on stage for a very special duet. In an Instagram post of the mommy-daughter moment, Clarkson wrote, 'Last night we had a very special guest, my daughter River Rose, joined us for 'Heartbeat Song.' It's her favorite song,' alongside an image of her kneeling down on stage to touch foreheads with her eldest child. Snuggling up to the tween — who, like her famous mother was wearing dark wash jeans and a bedazzled T-shirt — Clarkson told River Rose she looked 'super cute' before revved the band up to play the lead 2015 single from her seventh studio album, Piece by Piece. River Rose hung in there like a champ, doubling Clarkson's vocals and swaying along in unison as she smiled and belted out the song, even holding a big note at the end that made the singer smile proudly. Staring into each other's eyes and touching foreheads, mother and daughter landed the plane while joyfully singing the chorus in unison. 'This is my heartbeat song and I'm gonna play it/ Been so long, I forgot how to turn it/ Up, up, up, up all night long/ Up, up all night long,' they sang, bouncing in place together as the band dropped out and the two sang the chorus one more time while giving a sweet boop finger tap to each other's foreheads. In a testament to a life lived with a pop star mom, River Rose gave the crowd a sassy power pose after hugging Clarkson, who asked the crowd to 'give it up for River Rose y'all, c'mon!' before planting a kiss on the tween's cheek as she walked off. Back in 2023 during her first Vegas residency run at the Bakkt Theater, Clarkson first told the crowd that 'Heartbeat Song' was River's favorite, bringing the then 9-year-old out on stage to belt the tune out. 'She's been jamming to this song since she was a baby,' Clarkson told her fans back then. In addition to River Rose, Clarkson shares son Remington 'Remy' Alexander, 9, with ex Brandon Blackstock. Clarkson will be back on stage at the Colosseum on Friday (July 25). Collaborator on New Justin Bieber Album 'Swag' Says He Was ‘Mad Cool'
Putting aside whatever speculation, rumors and chatter surround Justin Bieber in recent months, one thing remains certain: his talent as a musician is undeniable. Going one step further, the process of working with Bieber has largely received high praise from those collaborating on his albums. That fact stood true again on Bieber's newest album, Swag, which features collaborations with several names and various artists. This includes Cash Cobain, whose debut studio album, Play Cash Cobain, was released in 2024. During an interview with GQ, Cobain spoke about the process of working with Bieber and explained how the duo came together to create the song "Swag." Cobain revealed that he messaged Bieber after the 31-year-old showed love by posting his song Trippin on a Yacht. 'I wrote bro like, 'We got to get some work in,'' Cash recalls. 'So I'm like, all right, boom—took bro's number down and then we was chopping it up for, I don't know, a couple days.' Cash said that Bieber reached out to him when he was in New York and met the pop star at his house, where there were several producers, rappers and artists. The 27-year-old rapper then detailed to GQ what the creative process was like working alongside Bieber, calling him "mad cool." 'You might think Justin Bieber would be on some other s---, but bro is mad cool. It was just natural...' Cash recalls, saying that Bieber was very loose in communicating a specific vibe that he was shooting for when making the song. 'He was just like, 'Swag. Swag, bro.' He on some swag s---. That's [all] him right there.' Cash went on to praise Bieber's first song on the album Swag, saying that the first song stood out to him, calling the beat something he's never heard anyone "really try to emulate." Bieber's 21-song album features credits to a few well-known names, including 2 Chainz for background vocals on "Yukon." The same song gives credit to Eminem as a composer-lyricist, but as Billboard details, that stems from an interpolation of a line from Eminem's "Untitled," a song on his 2010 album on New Justin Bieber Album 'Swag' Says He Was 'Mad Cool' first appeared on Men's Journal on Jul 17, 2025 Solve the daily Crossword

Tyler, The Creator Explains Urgency Behind ‘Don't Tap The Glass' LP in Note to Fans: ‘This Album Was Not Made For Sitting Still'
Early Monday morning (July 21), Tyler, The Creator released his ninth studio album, Don't Tap The Glass. Shortly following the drop, the high-motored lyricist explained the intentions behind his dance-laden effort and the urgency that fueled it. 'I asked some friends why they don't dance in public, and some said because of the fear of being filmed,' his Instagram post began. 'I thought damn, a natural form of expression and a certain connection they have with music is now a ghost. It made me wonder how much of our human spirit got killed because of the fear of being a meme, all for having a good time.' More from Billboard Mariah Carey 'MC16' Album Details Coming Tomorrow Fans Choose BTS' 'Permission to Dance On Stage' Live Album as This Week's Favorite New Music 'JACKBOYS 2' Debuts at No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart On the eve of Don't Tap The Glass, Tyler held an intimate listening party where he played the album front-to-back twice, dubbing the dance soiree as one of the 'greatest nites of his life.' 'I just got back from a listening party for this album and man was it one of the greatest nites of my life. 30 people. No phones allowed. No cameras. Just speakers and a sweatbox. Everyone was dancing. Moving. Expressing. Sweating,' the Grammy-winning MC said. 'It was truly beautiful. I played the album front to back twice. It felt like that pent up energy finally got released and we craved the idea of letting more of it out.' He added: 'There was a freedom that filled the room. A ball of energy that might not translate to every speaker that plays this album but man did that room nail it.' He finally urged people to soak in the album in a way that allows them to move freely, express themselves, and, most importantly, dance. 'This album was not made for sitting still. Dancing. Driving. Running. Any type of movement is recommended to maybe understand the spirit of it. Only at full volume,' he wrote. Don't Tap The Glass arrives less than a year after Tyler's Billboard 200 chart-topper CHROMAKOPIA. He's currently embarking on a worldwide tour for the project and will surely dish out new records from his latest effort during his multi-country trek. Read Tyler's full post below.
