By Aman Shukla Published on April 26, 2025, 17:11 IST
Royal Enfield has introduced the 2025 Hunter 350, a refreshed version of its popular street roadster, at HunterHood, the brand's first street culture festival held simultaneously in Mumbai and New Delhi. The updated model brings a series of practical enhancements aimed at improving the urban riding experience.
The 2025 Hunter 350 debuts with three new colour options inspired by global cities: Rio White, Tokyo Black, and London Red. Along with the new colours, the motorcycle features increased ground clearance, upgraded seat comfort, new suspension setup, and an optimized ergonomic triangle to enhance overall rideability in city environments.
For the first time in Royal Enfield's 350cc lineup, the Hunter 350 will come equipped with a slip-assist clutch, making gear shifts smoother and easier, particularly in stop-and-go traffic. The 2025 model also adds modern conveniences like LED headlamps, a tripper navigation pod, and a type-C USB fast charging port, catering to the needs of today's urban riders.
The Hunter 350 continues to be powered by the 349cc J-series engine, known for its torque-rich performance, and retains its compact, neo-retro design. Since its original launch, the Hunter 350 has attracted over 500,000 riders globally, becoming one of Royal Enfield's fastest-growing motorcycles.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, highlighted that the updates to the Hunter 350 are designed to enhance its appeal among city commuters and first-time motorcycle buyers, offering improved performance and comfort.
The HunterHood event, where the new model was launched, gathered a large community of riders, artists, skaters, and creators, reflecting the street culture spirit that the Hunter series aims to represent. Activities included live music performances, graffiti art sessions, BMX displays, and dance battles, creating an immersive cultural experience.

Cochin Shipyard secures order for two 70 T Bollard Pull Tugs from Polestar Maritime
Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), one of India's premier shipbuilders, has recently informed exchanges that the company secured a fresh order from Polestar Maritime Limited for the construction of two powerful 70-ton Bollard Pull Tugs. These vessels are expected to be delivered in May 2027 and September 2027, respectively. This new order comes on top of three similar tugs already under construction by Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (Udupi-CSL), a wholly owned CSL subsidiary. Polestar Maritime, a well-known name in harbour tug services and marine assistance across ports, is expanding its fleet with high-performance, India-built vessels. The tugs will be built based on designs by Robert Allan Ltd., a global leader in tugboat design. Both CSL and Udupi-CSL are playing a key role in bringing these advanced tug designs to India under the Government of India's Approved Standard Tug Design and Specifications (ASTDS) framework—part of the broader 'Atma Nirbhar Bharat' initiative to boost local manufacturing. The vessels will be jointly constructed at CSL's Cochin yard under a work-share model with Udupi-CSL. Each tug will be powered by twin 1838 kW engines and 2.7-meter propellers supplied by Niigata IHI Power Systems, Japan. With four tugs already delivered and 20 more—18 regular and 2 green tugs—in the pipeline, CSL continues to make steady progress in strengthening India's shipbuilding capabilities.
