‘Police Vari Heccharika is a crime drama with a strong social message'
Talking about the film, Janardhan shares, 'This story inspired me a lot. I felt that if you make a movie, it should be like this — useful to society. With this film, we wanted to do something meaningful.'
Beyond producing, Janardhan took on an important role in front of the camera, too. A former Army officer turned produceractor, he revealed, 'Actually, I play the role of a villain. Even in the last scene, my character carries a sense of suspense and fear.'

Sharing his initial apprehension about working alongside seasoned actors, he adds, 'My co-stars, especially Ajay Ghosh, helped me get better at the craft. While I was scared in the beginning to work with him, he later complimented me, saying that I acted like a seasoned actor.

Janardhan says he feels happy about the good response to the music and trailer, which lakhs of people have already watched. 'We've received a lot of love from the audience so far, and I'm hopeful for the film,' he concludes.

The makers of Malayalam filmmaker Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval's next, Oru Durooha Saahacharyathil, unveiled the film's first look on Saturday (July 26). Billed as a psychological comedy, the film is headlined by Kunchacko Boban, Dileesh Pothan, Sajin Gopu and Chidambaram (who directed the acclaimed Manjummel Boys). The first look features the cast in Army green costumes, with Kunchacko, Sajin and Chidambaram using a spaced-out Dileesh's hands to control guns. Notably, the film marks a reunion between Ratheesh and Kunchacko after their hit 2022 film Nna Thaan Case Kodu, and its 2024 spin-off Sureshanteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hrudayahariyaya Pranayakadha, headlined by Rajesh and Chithra.

The actor has already begun preparing for the film, which is expected to involve intense action sequences and physically demanding scenes. Speaking to PTI recently about the preparation for the film, Salman had said, 'It is physically demanding. Every year, every month, every day, every hour, it gets more and more difficult.
