‘Police Vari Heccharika is a crime drama with a strong social message'
Police Vari Heccharika , directed by K V Babji and produced by Belli Janardhan,is a crime drama that blends suspense with a strong social undercurrent. The film, which releases today, centres around an activist who secretly masterminds murders using orphans, forcing a lone police officer to uncover the truth before the entire city is deceived. Talking about the film, Janardhan shares, 'This story inspired me a lot. I felt that if you make a movie, it should be like this — useful to society. With this film, we wanted to do something meaningful.' Beyond producing, Janardhan took on an important role in front of the camera, too. A former Army officer turned produceractor, he revealed, 'Actually, I play the role of a villain. Even in the last scene, my character carries a sense of suspense and fear.' The film stars Sunny Akhil , Shubhalekha Sudhakar , Ajay Ghosh and Sayaji Shinde in pivotal roles. Reflecting on his on-set experience, Janardhan spoke about returning to acting after years away. 'I took part in plays and theatre when I was younger. With that experience, I played my character,' he explains. Sharing his initial apprehension about working alongside seasoned actors, he adds, 'My co-stars, especially Ajay Ghosh, helped me get better at the craft. While I was scared in the beginning to work with him, he later complimented me, saying that I acted like a seasoned actor. ' Janardhan says he feels happy about the good response to the music and trailer, which lakhs of people have already watched. 'We've received a lot of love from the audience so far, and I'm hopeful for the film,' he concludes.
