Gold prices fall by 50 piasters in local market
The selling price for 21-karat gold is JD67.50 per gram, while the purchase price is JD65.50, according to the Jordanian Jewellers Syndicate (JJS).
The selling price of gold per gram for 24-karat and 18-karat reached JD77.50 and JD59.50 respectively.
The selling price of a gram of 14-karat gold reached JD45.70.

Ammon News - Oil futures were little changed on Wednesday as markets weighed expectations from more supply from major producers next month, a softer U.S. dollar and a mixed bag of economic and market indicators from the U.S., the world's largest oil consumer. Brent crude was up 2 cents at $67.13 a barrel at 0345 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude fell 1 cent to $65.44 a barrel. Also weighing on prices, sources said American Petroleum Institute data late on Tuesday showed U.S. crude oil inventories rose by 680,000 barrels in the past week at a time when stockpiles typically draw amid the summer demand season. The market is already seeing the results of the previous OPEC+ increases with Saudi Arabia, the world's biggest oil exporter, lifting shipments in June by 450,000 bpd from May, according to data from Kpler, its highest in more than a year. 'Bride [is] renting a large estate for five days for a destination wedding,' ranted a Redditor of the unnamed nearly-wed. 'We were told, 'accommodations were taken care of,' and that we only needed to book flights/transportation.' 'Two months before the wedding she tells us that we each need to [send] $500 per person for accommodation costs,' the virtual complainer carped. Unfortunately, the grabby bride's surprises didn't end there. 'I checked the website,' added the sleuthy invitee. 'The venue fee includes access to the entire grounds, and the number of guests I've been told are coming [times] $500, [which] actually means she'll be making more than what the venue fee is.'
