July 25 (Reuters) - Barcelona's pre-season friendly against Japanese side Vissel Kobe is back on after the Spanish club and the promoter for the match resolved the contractual issues that earlier caused the game to be suspended, the LaLiga side said on Friday.
The Spanish champions were on their way to Japan for Sunday's clash that will kick off an Asia tour, with matches against South Korean sides FC Seoul and Daegu FC scheduled on July 31 and August 4, Barcelona added in a statement.

And Rodgers said: 'It was nice for Shin. 'It's not been easy for him when you think he's only just come into the club. 'He's come to a new culture and new way of working with a real intensity. 'But he's worked really hard in training. 'Sadly he didn't get the run-out the other night but the plan was to give him 45 minutes tonight and I felt he worked really hard when he came on. 'He showed good composure, he's very quick and strong. 'He wants to get in behind and, from the wee bits I've seen of him so far, he just needs to get into more decisive positions to score. 'We are a team that creates a lot of opportunities. 'But he's strong and he he can press the game.' Nicolas Kuhn poses for selfies with Celtic fans as he greets team-mates and Brendan Rodgers at Como Cup Celts will name their European squad on August 14 and Rodgers has challenged his players to make sure they aren't on the list of omissions. He added: 'The challenge is there for everyone. 'All the players want to be involved in that and there is enough time for all the players to be able to do that.' Rodgers was pleased with the performance in Celts' final friendly clash before the new season kicks off. He added: 'If you look at the quality of players they have, they're a top team. 'They have made some real investment in their squad so it was always going to be a good level of game. 3 'That's why we came, 'But I felt in the second half our guys stepped up and create chances. 'We had some of the younger players like Ben Summers and Colby Donovan involved too and I was keen to give them a run-out tonight. 'They showed energy for the game and when they were asked up to take a penalty they showed good composure.' Cameron Carter-Vickers played 60 minutes as he continues to battle back to fitness after his summer knee surgery. But Rodgers says the defender will take time to get back to his best. He added: 'There's no doubt Cameron is number of weeks behind but its that mixture of giving him game time and looking after him. 'It's such a long season. The boys who have played – like Dane Murray – have been excellent. 'It's the same with Ali. It'll take him a while to get up to speed but Tony Ralston is there and he's been great. 'He has got good running power and he was up against a player that cost £50m.' Rodgers, meanwhile, hopes Celts step up their signings search this week. He added: 'I haven't had any update as yet. I've very hopeful that will be the case. We know we want to improve the squad.' 3 Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

Arsenal await bid for goalkeeper with six players available for transfer

Arsenal are open to selling a number of players after wrapping up the arrival of their sixth summer signing, Viktor Gyokeres Arsenal are open to offers for goalkeeper Karl Hein this summer and the Gunners are waiting to see if Sevilla formalise their interest in the 23-year-old. The Estonia international penned a new contract at the Emirates last summer before heading out on loan. ‌ But this time around, Arsenal are prioritising permanent bids for the young shot-stopper and want to push through a sale to avoid losing Hein on a free transfer in 2026. ‌ Sevilla are among those interested but they are short of cash and are keen to explore a loan swoop for Newcastle's Odysseas Vlachodimos instead. ‌ Arsenal have a strong relationship with their La Liga counterparts after loaning midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga to Sevilla last season. The move was deemed beneficial for the Belgian even though injuries halted his progress and if they had more funds available, they would have been open to signing the midfielder on a permanent deal. Crucially, Hein has already proven his worth in the Spanish top-flight after impressing on loan at Real Valladolid last season despite their relegation. Hein made 31 appearances in La Liga following a last-minute call to snub Charlton Athletic. A shoulder issue saw him sit out five games in March and April but he returned before the end of the campaign and has since missed Arsenal's pre-season tour of Asia with a thumb injury. It's understood he also has admirers from the Championship and Europe with a summer transfer firmly on the cards. Following the capture of Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, the Gunners will ramp up their quest to raise cash through player sales. ‌ Reiss Nelson is admired by Fulham and could leave, Fabio Vieira and Oleksandr Zinchenko are also free to pursue an exit while Albert Sambi Lokonga is almost certain to depart. Arsenal would likely also consider bids for forward Gabriel Jesus amid interest from Flamengo but he is currently prioritising his return to fitness following knee surgery. Last year, Jesus' former club Palmeiras also made an approach that was rebuffed by Arsenal, it remains to be seen whether they return to the table. ‌ Despite his absence, Jesus remains appreciated by Mikel Arteta, who would still welcome having another forward option at his disposal as the 28-year-old can also play out wide or off the striker. Jakub Kiwior is poised to stay barring a drastic U-turn as Arteta is a firm admirer of the Pole, even if he'll remain second in command to Gabriel Magalhaes.
