Liverpool's latest partnership with adidas is already set for tremendous success.
It's the third time the iconic sportswear brand is returning to become a manufacturer of the club's shirts. The relationship between Liverpool and adidas stems all the way back to the 1980s.

It was in adidas colours that Liverpool lifted their last few First Division titles. It was also in adidas colours that Liverpool were toppled by Manchester United in the 1990s.
The Reds then went onto swap adidas for Reebok during a decade long partnership between 1996 to 2006, before once again collaborating with adidas until 2012.
Since then, Liverpool have worked together with Warrior, New Balance and Nike but are now returning to the brand which it is most familiar with.
Being the current Premier League champions, and having the summer that the Reds have had when it comes to recruitment means Liverpool are expecting record shirt sales when the home kit is finally announced on August 1st.
But this is a partnership that doesn't just help them this summer, it sets them up for the future.
There's been a lot of talk about the adidas athletes at the club, most notably Mohamed Salah, who is one of the biggest athletes currently represented by the brand.
He's not alone, Florian Wirtz is recognised as one of the future faces of adidas. With the brand originating from Germany, there are close ties between adidas and Wirtz. He often features prominently in advertising campaigns for adidas, and will continue to do so at Liverpool - the only difference is that he will be able to wear his Liverpool shirt in the advertisement campaigns.
Wirtz and Salah linked-up recently alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Lamine Yamal to promote adidas' new F50 boots.
The sparkly boots have hit stores already and they are one of the best designs adidas has made in recent years.
Wirtz and Salah though are not the only Liverpool athletes who is promoting the brand though.

Everton in advanced talks to sign Southampton winger Tyler Dibling

Everton are in advanced talks with Southampton over a summer deal for attacker Tyler Dibling, according to one renowned Toffees insider on X. The Saints have given the 19-year-old permission to hold talks with Everton over personal terms ahead of a potential move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium club, and the deal could be worth a little over £35 million. The Toffees have been trying to sign Dibling for a while since Southampton got relegated, and they had their £27m bid rejected last week, but they are now closing in on a deal from the look of things. The reliable Everton insider (followed by the likes of Alan Myers, Fabrizio Romano, Jason Burt and Christopher Beesley on social media) reported via X on Monday afternoon that talks are ongoing between both clubs. The winger could become the fourth summer arrival at the Merseyside club after Thierno Barry, Adam Aznou and Mark Travers. Southampton had insisted they wanted over £100m for Dibling amid interest from the Toffees, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich. However, they have had to settle for a little over a third of that and Everton will be glad to have pipped fierce competition to his services. The versatile Dibling can play as a right winger, a striker, a central midfielder and behind a striker, and manager David Moyes could do with such a talented player within his ranks. He weighed in with four goals and three assists in 38 appearances across all competitions last term, and he has what it takes to become one of the best attackers in the Premier League under the tutelage of the Everton boss. The Toffees are desperate to quickly wrap up more deals in the final month of the summer transfer window and have also approached Chelsea for English midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Both clubs are in talks over a permanent transfer, and an agreement could be reached in the coming days as the Stamford Bridge club want to sell the former Leicester City star.

Tyler Dibling: Everton table improved bid for Southampton winger

Everton have made an improved bid for Southampton winger Tyler Dibling. Southampton are yet to respond to the offer, which is worth in the region of £40million including add-ons, but they are seeking a higher fee for the teenager, and it is expected to be rebuffed. Everton have already seen an opening offer for Dibling turned down this summer. He is keen to return to the Premier League, having never played in the Championship, following Southampton's relegation last season. The 19-year-old's contract at St. Mary's runs until 2027 and he has also attracted interest from Aston Villa and Newcastle United. Dibling was a regular for Southampton last term, making 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring four goals and three assists, though he could not help save the club from returning straight to the Championship as they finished bottom of the top flight table. After spending eight years in Southampton's academy, Dibling joined Chelsea's youth setup in 2022. However, he only featured twice for the west London side and rejoined Southampton later that year. Advertisement Dibling signed his first professional contract in 2023 and made his senior debut in August of that year in a 3-1 defeat against Gillingham in the Carabao Cup. He primarily featured for the club's under-21 side in the 2023-24 season before establishing himself as a first team regular in the subsequent campaign following Southampton's promotion to the Premier League. The winger has made 43 appearances for the club in total. The Athletic reported on Monday that Everton are also in talks over a permanent deal for Chelsea's Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Everton have been active in the transfer market this summer, securing the arrivals of Adam Aznou, Thierno Barry and Mark Travers this summer, and also signed Carlos Alcaraz permanently following his loan spell at Goodison Park last season. The Athletic also reported on July 26 that the club were in talks with Lyon over a potential deal for winger Malick Fofana. ()

Newcastle Weigh Striker Options as Liverpool Circle Alexander Isak

Newcastle Transfers: Striker Search Intensifies as Isak Interest Grows Isak Unsettled Amid Liverpool Pressure Newcastle United are preparing for a turbulent few weeks in the transfer window, with Liverpool circling around prized asset Alexander Isak. The Premier League champions have tabled an opening offer for the Swedish international, but Newcastle were swift and resolute in their response. The bid was rejected outright, with the club reportedly valuing Isak at £150 million. That price tag, however, may not even prove decisive. Newcastle are unwilling to entertain any exit unless they secure a viable replacement. The striker has become pivotal under Eddie Howe and remains central to their ambitions both domestically and in Europe. Sesko Talks Ongoing Despite Setback Newcastle's top target to replace Isak is RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko. Aged just 22, the Slovenian has drawn admiring glances from St James' Park for months. However, Leipzig rejected the Magpies' opening bid and talks remain delicate. To complicate matters, Manchester United are believed to be preparing their own approach for the striker, threatening Newcastle's pursuit. Photo IMAGO Aghehowa Considered as Contingency With the Sesko deal far from guaranteed, Newcastle have identified an alternative. Spanish journalist Eduardo Burgos reports that Porto forward Samu Aghehowa is now under serious consideration. 'Newcastle United is interested in the situation of Samu Aghehowa,' Burgos confirmed. The former Atletico Madrid striker is valued at €80 million, mirroring Newcastle's proposal for Sesko. However, Porto are reluctant to sell and may hold firm for another year. 'They have been monitoring his progress since the beginning of the year,' Burgos added. 'He is one of the options being considered for the forward position, although they have not yet made an offer. Porto wants to keep him for another year: they are asking for €80M.' Pressure Mounts in Final Weeks As Liverpool's intent hardens, and with Manchester United eyeing the same targets, Newcastle's transfer strategy is under increasing strain. Whether it is Sesko, Aghehowa or another name altogether, the Magpies may need to act fast to avoid being left behind in this fiercely contested market.
