Drake relists luxe Beverly Hills mansion with $13m discount
The Grammy-winning rapper has now slashed $US9 million ($A13 million) from his original ask, offering the property up for $US79 million ($A121 million) in a desperate attempt to draw in a buyer, Realtor reports.
Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, put the Tuscan-style estate back on the market on June 24 — three years after snapping it up for $US75 million ($A114 million) and months after he attempted to lease out the home for $US250,000 ($A382,000) a month.
Though the rapper has seemingly decided that the home is not the 'Best I Ever Had,' the property — which was previously owned by British pop star Robbie Williams — will undoubtedly catch the eye of many with its impressive array of amenities, which include 10 bedrooms, and 13.5 bathrooms.
Other highlights include a resort-style pool, a tennis court, a cooking patio, and sweeping views of the California skyline.
The residence boasts a chic living area with space for multiple couches, a cozy fireplace, French doors, and large windows.
Next to the living area is a lounge with a fireplace, wood-framed windows, and a built-in wooden shelf.
'This property defies description with over 25,000 square feet, seven bedrooms, 13 full baths and nine half baths, nine fireplaces, an elevator, garage and motor court to accommodate 15 cars, staff quarters offering three bedrooms and separate full kitchen,' the listing reads.
Modern touches are present throughout the home, including in the library, dining room, and chef's kitchen.
The latter is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and two large marble islands.
There is also a private gym, wine cellar, screening room, and game room on the grounds.
'Offering a perfect setting for an outdoor soiree, the grounds inspire the kind of serenity found in the world's most secluded villas w/ immaculate lawns & gardens, orchards, fountains, a mosaic-tiled swimming pool, outdoor pavilion, pool house with a kitchen & pizza oven, tennis court & pavilion, walking paths and a view to envy,' the listing adds.
The listing comes just months after Drake's ongoing feud with rapper Kendrick Lamar reached its height.
The battle began long ago when they competed for the title of world's best rapper, and soon devolved into a slew of diss tracks and legal woes.
The artists were pals until 2013, when Lamar rapped about 'murdering' J. Cole, Meek Mill, Drake, Big K.R.I.T., Wale, Pusha T, ASAP Rocky, Tyler, the Creator, Mac Miller, Big Sean, and Jay Electronica's music.
Drake responded to the diss track while speaking to Billboard.
'I didn't really have anything to say about it. It just sounded like an ambitious thought to me. That's all it was,' Drake told the outlet.
'I know good and well that [Lamar]'s not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic.'
Their public spat reached its peak in 2023 when Drake teamed up with J. Cole, prompting Lamar to release another hit slamming them.
Drake then released two back-to-back diss tracks slamming Lamar, even using AI to mimic the voices of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg.
Shakur's estate then threatened to sue Drake, prompting him to remove the voices from the hit titled 'Taylor Made Freestyle.'
Lamar hit back with a six-minute diss track teasing Drake's style and morals.
Less than 24 hours later, he released another diss track, claiming that there was a mole inside Drake's team telling him news.
The two continued to fire off at each other, with Lamar eventually accusing Drake of being a 'deadbeat' father.
In 2024, Lamar released his hit 'Not Like Us,' rapping in the song, 'Say, Drake, I hear you like 'em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/ To any b---- that talk to him and they in love/ Just make sure you hide your lil' sister from him.'
Months later, Drake filed a motion against Universal Music Group, accusing the company of using bots to inflate Lamar's streams. The motion was later proved false.
Drake then accused UMG of defamation, claiming that it could have declined to release the song in a motion filed in January 2025.
Although Drake hit back, the damage was done as Lamar continued to figuratively dance on his grave as he performed 'Not Like Us' at the Super Bowl.
Attorneys for UMG then hit back at Drake, noting, 'Plaintiff, one of the most successful recording artists of all time, lost a rap battle that he provoked and in which he willingly participated.
Instead of accepting the loss like the unbothered rap artist he often claims to be, he has sued his own record label in a misguided attempt to salve his wounds.
'Drake has been pleased to use UMG's platform to promote tracks levelling similarly incendiary attacks at Lamar.
But now, after losing the rap battle, Drake claims that 'Not Like Us' is defamatory. It is not.'

Diddy hit with explosive new lawsuit days after being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering
It seems Sean 'Diddy' Combs' legal battles may be far from over. The rap mogul has been hit with an explosive new alleged sex scandal just days after he was acquitted of sex-trafficking and racketeering charges. A male escort by the name of Clayton Howard is suing him and his then-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, for sex trafficking and other alleged crimes when he alleges he was hired to participate in their 'freak offs' years ago, TMZ reports. Among the shocking allegations in the civil lawsuit filed against the pair, Howard claims the singer gave him a sexually transmitted disease and later aborted a pregnancy with him without his knowledge. The male escort says Ventura, who became Combs' main accuser in his trail, was not a victim but rather an 'engaged participant'. 'Ventura was not merely a victim forced into sexual encounters with male escorts, but rather an active and engaged participant who willingly manipulated and exploited others, including Plaintiff, to satisfy the sexually depraved desires of Defendant Combs and herself,' the lawsuit reads in part. In the documents, Howard – who operated under the alias 'Dave' – claims he was trafficked across US state lines from as far back as 2009 to participate in 'freak-offs' involving the pair. He says this lasted for eight years. During that time, he claims he was 'drugged', 'manipulated' and forced into degrading acts while having unprotected sex. Among those acts, Howard claims Ventura 'commanded him to masturbate for hours', which he said left his penis 'bruised and swollen'. He also accused her of forcing 'herself upon him during her menstrual cycle against his will', as well as filming him without his consent. As for Combs, Howard alleges that he 'implied threats of violence' and once threatened to 'pistol whip' him if he didn't comply. According to the court papers, Howard is seeking compensation for psychological injury, emotional distress, medical bills and loss of income. The lawsuit comes days after Diddy was spared life behind bars when a jury found him not guilty on two counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering conspiracy following a seven-week trial in Manhattan. However, Combs was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, charges of which can carry a 10-year prison sentence each. The rapper will remain behind bars awaiting sentencing after his bail application was rejected by the judge. Judge Arun Subramanian said Combs had shown a 'disregard for the rule of law and a propensity of violence' during the bail hearing. He proposed a sentencing date of October 3. Combs has been incarcerated in Brooklyn since his arrest in September.

Brad Pitt's ‘biggest regret' revealed after settling ‘toxic' Angelina Jolie divorce: report
Brad Pitt has a new outlook on life following his divorce from Angelina Jolie. The F1 star, who recently opened up about life's 'struggles' during the latest episode of Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce's New Heights podcast, wants to move forward and put the past behind him. 'The divorce is something that had been controlling his life for so many years,' a source told Us Weekly of his split from the Maleficent star. 'He loved her and he knows he made mistakes.' 'It was such a divisive, toxic situation,' the insider added of their divorce that took eight years to finalise, per Page Six. Pitt and Jolie started dating in 2004. They tied the knot 10 years later, but the marriage only lasted two years. Throughout their 12-year romance, they expanded their family and now share six children together: Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. Following the split, however, Pitt's relationship with his kids became strained as he and the Girl, Interrupted actress spent years fighting over custody. The events surrounding their split — like the 2016 plane incident and his battle with alcoholism — 'turned the kids against him.' However, Pitt 'doesn't blame [Jolie] for everything,' the insider said. Pitt also hopes to make things right with his kids. His 'biggest regret is he can't repair this,' the source revealed. 'The case is over but there are no winners.' 'To have that behind him is a relief. But on the other hand, it's been hard for him because he doesn't have a great relationship with his kids.' Since the split, Pitt, 61, has been working on his sobriety and it has reportedly changed his perspective on life. 'Ever since he stopped drinking, everything has changed,' the insider said. During a June appearance on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast, Pitt told listeners that he went to AA meetings while 'pretty much on [his] knees' and needing to 'wake the f**k up.' The Golden Globe winner recalled, 'I was trying anything and everything, anything anyone threw at me. … It was a difficult time. I needed rebooting.' However, Jolie, 50, 'is still not in a place where she is going to forgive him or ever will,' the insider told Us Weekly in their report published on Thursday. The insider explained that Pitt, who is now in a serious relationship with Ines de Ramon, is 'relieved that this [divorce] is over.' Still, 'the lasting impact is something he's going to live with forever.' A rep for Pitt did not immediately respond to Page Six 's request for comment.
