Bugaboo is voluntarily recalling approximately 18,280 of its Giraffe high chairs due to a potential fall hazard.
According to a June 12 recall notice posted on Bugaboo's website and the Consumer Product Safety Commission website, the chair legs can separate from the frame "if the screws connecting the legs are not properly tightened during assembly."
The issue may pose a "risk of serious injury or death to babies," the CPSC stated.
The agency noted that Bugaboo has received 22 reports so far of high chair legs separating from frames, including 13 reports of "minor injuries."

Those who ordered a Giraffe high chair after May 1, 2025, "will already have the Repair Kit included in your Bugaboo Giraffe box and no further action is needed," the company added.
The recalled Giraffe high chairs, which were made in the Czech Republic, are about 30 inches tall, 21 inches wide and 23 inches long and were made in blue, black, natural wood/white, warm wood/gray and white colorways, according to the CPSC.
The recalled products were sold at Nordstrom and other stores nationwide and online on Bugaboo's website as well as on Amazon.com between May 2023 and April 2025, the CPSC stated. The Giraffe high chairs were priced around $380.

Walmart confirmed full cooperation with the CPSC and said the $15 stainless steel bottles would be pulled from shelves. Walmart Recalls Water Bottles After Lids ‘Forcefully Ejected' and Impaired Vision

Walmart is recalling about 850,000 stainless steel water bottles after three customers reported that the lids of their bottles 'forcefully ejected' and struck their faces, causing permanent vision loss in two of them, safety regulators said. The recall covers 64-ounce Ozark Trail stainless steel insulated water bottles, which have been sold at Walmart stores across the nation and on Walmart's website since 2017, according to a notice published on Thursday by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. The commission warned that the bottles posed serious impact and laceration hazards. It said that the lid could 'eject forcefully' when consumers try to open the bottles and 'food, carbonated beverages or perishable beverages, such as juice or milk, are stored inside over time.' It did not specify how long a period of time. As of Thursday, Walmart had received three reports of customers who were injured after the lids struck them in the face while they were opening the bottles. In two of those cases, the people experienced 'permanent vision loss after being struck in the eye,' the commission noted. Consumers should immediately stop using the Ozark Trail water bottle, which sells for about $15, and contact Walmart for a full refund, the commission said. Consumers can bring the products to any Walmart store. The recalled bottles can be identified by their model number, 83-662. The number is on the original packaging, but it does not appear on the product itself. Each bottle has a silver, stainless steel base with an Ozark Trail logo and a black, one-piece screw-cap lid. 'The health and safety of our customers is always a top priority,' Walmart said in a statement on Friday afternoon. 'Walmart has fully cooperated with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and manufacturer of the impacted product to remove it from our stores and notify consumers of the recall' The bottles were manufactured in China and imported by Olympia Tools International Inc., of Covina, Calif., and Walmart.

Amazon Recall Update: Warning Over Multiple Products Sold Nationwide

Amazon and several third-party vendors issued nationwide recalls for various children's products, including safety gates, crib bumpers, dressers and play yard mattresses. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported that the products, sold exclusively online on posed hazards such as suffocation, entrapment and tip-over injuries. Each recall notice urged consumers to stop using the affected items immediately and offered refunds for products that are destroyed and documented with photos. No injuries have been reported from the recalled items. Recalls are issued when concerns arise that a product is defective or potentially harmful in some way, such as when testing shows that foods are contaminated with potentially deadly bacteria or have been infected with a foreign object during the manufacturing process. The recall of multiple child-focused products highlights continued risks associated with unregulated or noncompliant imports sold by third-party vendors on major online platforms. These latest recalls demonstrate that products violating federal standards remain available to U.S. consumers, underlining the importance of regulatory oversight and Amazon's marketplace responsibility. Dearlomum Retractable Safety Gates About 2,200 Dearlomum Retractable Safety Gates were recalled after being sold on Amazon between December 2024 and May for $33 to $38. The gates, distributed by Signbaby, can entrap a child's torso between the gate and floor, risking injury or death. The product violates federal regulations for children's gate safety. To receive a full refund, consumers must cut and destroy the gate and submit documentation to Signbaby. AUGNORYE Padded Crib Bumpers YIXIA recalled about 356 units of AUGNORYE Padded Cushioned Crib Bumpers on July 10. These products were sold from February to May on Amazon for $40 to $45. The CPSC found that the soft bumpers violated the federal ban on padded crib bumpers, presenting a suffocation risk that could create an unsafe sleep environment for infants. Refunds are offered when consumers cut and document destruction of the products. Braided Crib Bumpers by Haoyunm About 260 braided crib bumpers, imported by Haoyunm, were recalled for violating the same federal ban as the AUGNORYE product. Sold in various lengths and colors on Amazon from December 2024 to April, the unmarked bumpers are considered suffocation hazards. Customers are required to cut the product in half and provide evidence to receive a refund. WLIVE Fabric Dressers Jiangsu Zhi Pai Furniture Manufacturing Co. Ltd. recalled about 6,600 WLIVE Fabric 15-Drawer Dressers, sold for about $110 each between April 2024 and May 2025 on Amazon. The product is unstable and poses tip-over and entrapment risks unless anchored to a wall, violating the federal STURDY Act standard for clothing storage units, according to the CPSC. Refunds are processed after customers submit disposal documentation. Creekliybear Play Yard Mattresses Kbabyea recalled 21,500 Creekliybear aftermarket play yard mattresses. These products, sold online on Amazon for $28 to $40 from December 2024 to June, exceed federally mandated thickness requirements. They may not fit standard play yards, presenting a potential fatal entrapment hazard, the CPSC said. Refunds are processed for those providing proof of mattress destruction. Amazon said on its product recall page: "Our Product Safety Team proactively investigates and addresses reported safety complaints and incidents to ensure customer protection from potential product-related safety risks. We closely monitor public recall alert websites and receive notifications from vendors and sellers. Upon discovering a product recall, we immediately halt affected product offerings, and promptly inform both customers and sellers involved about the recall."
