Clementine Ford DEFENDS Abbie Chatfield in extraordinary spray after massive falling out

Daily Mail13-06-2025
It appears that the war of words between Abbie Chatfield and Clementine Ford may be coming to an end.
The pair have been exchanging barbs for weeks after Clementine accused Abbie of profiting from the 'performance of being politically engaged'.
However, the pair have appeared to have found some common ground, with Clementine defending Abbie in an explosive response to an online troll.
She shared an image to her Instagram story on Thursday that showed a very off-colour remark by a troll account called 'Right Of Centre'.
The comment read: 'Two ugly xx trolls. Men should not help them at all.

'If they're being mugged they're not worth it - too ugly - only good looking nice women deserve chivalry on any level.'
Clementine responded swiftly, slamming the commenter as an 'incel creep'.
'Regardless of my views on AC [Abbie Chatfield], I'm pretty sure neither of us need or have ever needed nor have ever asked for men to help us - especially not weird little incel creeps who blame women for their basement position on the male hierarchy,' she said.
'F*** off, loser. We both know you would p*** your pants in fear if one of us even looked in your direction.'
Abbie and Clementine's feud began when the latter wrote on her 'Dear Clementine' blog on Substack that some influencers, like Abbie, profit from the 'performance of being politically engaged' while criticising anyone who disagrees with them.
Abbie responded with a video post on Instagram in which she called out her online rival.
'She's literally writing a burn book about me and doing insults like "She thinks she's so hot",' Chatfield said.
'What a weirdo - oh my God.'
She added: 'Clementine, take a step back from the internet. Take a step back from Reddit please.'
Abbie later returned to the platform in tears as the social media feud took a dark turn.
She accused Clementine of 'trolling' her, and said it was affecting her mental health and made her feel unsafe.
'Stop saying that I have a personality disorder,' she said. 'You don't know me. This is so f****ing triggering I just want her to stop,' she said.
'It isn't working, you're discouraging others... Please, I'm just trying to do what I can to help.
'I just don't understand why she's so adamant on proving that I'm awful. I don't get it. This is so incredibly stressful and awful what she is doing.'
She added she was now aware of 'someone spreading malicious lies about me again and again … because she claims to know my intentions on f***ing everything'.
'I'm scared of her. Please stop, Clementine. I am begging you to stop,' she sobbed.
'F*** off, loser. We both know you would p*** your pants in fear if one of us even looked in your direction.'
'You don't know me at all, you're a stranger. I deal with so much, every single day. I deal with insults every single day. I do not need it from you because you know that when you say it you validate it for people on the left.
'You are f**ing my mental health. Please f***ing stop.'
She then posted screenshots of comments made by the writer, calling Abbie an 'idiotic narcissist', 'completely shallow' and a 'deeply basic thinker'.
Not yielding to Abbie's pleas, Clementine was quick to fire off another salvo at the FBoy Island host.
She shared a screenshot to Instagram of a text conversation between two unnamed people.
The first writes: 'I heard you were taking s*** about me.'
The second replies with a defiant: 'Do you wanna hear it again or did you get everything?'
Above the exchange, Clementine wrote: 'This is the energy I want to be coming into next year with'.
It came after Abbie had made another tearful appeal to Clementine to rein back her criticism, saying it was unfair and was a painful addition to the abuse she receives from those who criticise her left-wing politics.
'Been a bit of a rough weekend. Go to my TikTok if you want to know what's going on. I don't want to rehash it, but all I want to say is it's incredibly counterproductive to criticise someone for doing the thing you want them to do,' Abbie said on her It's A Lot podcast.
'It makes no sense and it gives a certain energy that I think we all know.'
She then invited questions from her followers and used that for another shot at Clementine.
'We are doing an "ask me anything" as I didn't prep, because contrary to what Clementine Ford says I do prep for my own podcasts but I didn't have time to do that,' Abbie said.

Tammy Hembrow asks fans if she has 'eyebrow blindness' as she debuts new look - amid viral trend that has women questioning their grooming choices

Tammy Hembrow has updated her eyebrows - and she's worried she's made a grave mistake. The 31-year-old influencer debuted her waxed brows in an Instagram Stories post on Tuesday, having trimmed them down from a bushier look. However, Tammy is unsure if the new look suits her, and has begged her fans for help. 'What do we think? Do I have eyebrow blindness?' she asked in the caption of her post. The accompanying clip showed Tammy working her angles in a mirror as she filmed herself with her phone. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. As she posed in side-profile and front-on, the designer seemed concerned by what she saw. Tammy had also posed the question to her fans the day before, also on Instagram Stories, and has evidently remained worried by her updated brows. The fitness influencer is taking part in a viral trend online where content creators question if they have 'eyebrow blindness'. The term rose to popularity on TikTok in recent months. Over the past decades, there have been tons of eyebrow trends that have taken the beauty world by storm. From skinny 'sperm' brows in the early 2000s, to the 2016 'block brows' inspired by Kylie Jenner, to the spiky soap brows of today - we've seen it all. Not to mention all of the viral products that were piled on, too, like the Anastasia Brow Dip and Wunderbrow gel. But when you look back on your previous eyebrow styles from years past, you may be thinking, 'What the heck was I doing?' 'What do we think? Do I have eyebrow blindness?' she asked in the caption of her post That is where eyebrow blindness comes in. Medical aesthetician Cassandra Bankson explained the term to USA Today, defining it as 'being blind to something that is trendy [but] not necessarily good for long term health or beauty.' Comedian Taylor Tomlinson also spoke about the phenomenon during a recent episode of her show, After Midnight, on CBS. She joked that it was an 'all-too common medical issue' where you're unable to tell that your eyebrows 'look insane.' The viral term has taken over the app, with tons of users posting some truly hilarious and shocking videos of what their eyebrows used to look like. And, it seems like there were various degrees of 'brow blindness' that people had, too, from super thin to super thick to barely there at all.

Selling Sunset's Emma Hernan, 33, SPLITS from 'MAGA boyfriend' Blake Harris, 28, after her ex-best-friend Chrishell Stause's fiery feud with him

Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan has split from her boyfriend Blake Harris, months after her ex-best-friend Chrishell Stause became embroiled in a fiery feud with him. The realtor, 33, was first publicly linked to developer Blake, 28, in December after dating for a year, but the pair are now believed to have gone their separate ways. Emma took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to hint at her relationship status as she described herself as 'single' while on a helicopter ride with her friends. Filming herself flashing the peace sign, a caption read: 'POV: You're single for the summer getting your passport stamped.' Emma has not officially confirmed her split from Blake or addressed their relationship status, though TMZ first reported they had gone their separate ways. MailOnline has contacted Emma's representatives for further comment. The news of their split comes after Emma's former best friend Chrishell, 44, became embroiled in a very public spat with Blake, accusing him of saying 'pronouns are dumb' The news of their split comes after Emma's former best friend Chrishell, 44, became embroiled in a very public spat with Blake. In May, Chrishell, 43, responded to a comment on Instagram after fans noticed the once inseparable friends had not been posting pictures together online. The fan asked: 'What's happening with you and Emma? Hot topic on Reddit.' Chrishell made some bombshell allegations about Blake as she replied: 'Ask her about her MAGA bf who told me pronouns are dumb and that he likes to use the N word. 'I just can't with that. Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar.' However, real estate agent Blake broke his silence on her allegations and claimed to have only met Chrishell 'a handful of times'. 'The meeting at Ms Stause's home took place in January 2024, and this was the last time I saw or spoke to Ms Stause,' he claimed. 'We are barely acquaintances and we know very little about each other's beliefs and lives.' In May, Chrishell made accusations about Blake while responding to a comment on Instagram after fans noticed the once inseparable friends had not been posting pictures together online He claimed that he and Chrishell 'have never discussed political views' and argued he 'does not use derogatory language about anyone'. However, he admitted he did mistakenly call Chrishell's partner G Flip 'Ms. Stause's wife', though the Australian drummer uses the gender neutral pronouns they/them. 'The only time we had a real conversation was when I met Ms Stause at her house with Emma. I regretfully referred to G Flip as Ms Stause's wife,' he claimed. 'Ms Stause corrected me that they were partners and that G Flip goes by the pronoun them. 'Since, I have respectfully used the preferred pronouns.' Blake also said he remained 'committed' to Emma in very rare comments about their relationship, as Emma generally keeps her private life out of the spotlight. 'Aside from a few breaks we have taken due to distance and other personal issues, we remain committed to each other,' he added in comments made shortly before their split emerged. As recently as February 2025, the former besties had interacted with each other on social media and they are both pictured with Chelsea Lazkani in December 2024 'I am a supportive partner to Emma and I fully support her friendship with Ms Stause.' The state of once-inseparable best friends Emma and Chrishell's current relationship is not known. As recently as February 2025, the former besties had interacted with each other on social media. The Selling Sunset co-stars' feud was reportedly filmed for the upcoming season of the show and will play out when season nine premieres.

BBC Only Connect fans moan 'standards are slipping' as they spot error minutes into show

Only Connect has returned to BBC Two with a new series, but viewers were left puzzled just moments into the first episode The beloved BBC quiz show Only Connect, hosted by the sharp-witted Victoria Coren Mitchell, has made its triumphant return to our screens with a brand-new series. ‌ The quiz programme challenges teams to unravel the connections between seemingly unrelated clues in a battle of wits and knowledge. ‌ In the latest series premiere, which graces our screens on Monday nights on BBC Two, eagle-eyed fans were left scratching their heads as they believed they spotted an error early in the episode. ‌ Victoria posed a question to one of the teams: "What is the connection between these, apparently random, picture clues?" as an image of snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan popped up, followed by a depiction of Rocket Raccoon from the Marvel universe. The contestants quickly deduced that 'rocket' was the common link, a guess that Victoria confirmed as correct before revealing the remaining two images: a drawing of Stephenson's Rocket and a picture of rocket salad leaves, reports Wales Online. ‌ But some viewers were adamant that the locomotive illustrated was not Stephenson's Rocket, prompting them to air their grievances on social media. One disgruntled fan tweeted: "First mistake on the new series of @ BBC #OnlyConnect. This is LOCOMOTION not Stephensons ROCKET @VictoriaCoren," attaching a photo of the contentious sketch. Another viewer chimed in with disappointment: "Standards are slipping Robert," while yet another expressed surprise: "And on the very first question too!". ‌ "Came here to the #OnlyConnect trending comments to see this! I got the answer in two, but if I'd needed a third this would have thrown me," chimed in another fan. Another viewer also concurred, posting on X: "#onlyconnect Probably says more about me than anything else, but the picture of Stephenson's Rocket in round one tonight wasn't Stephenson's Rocket. It was Puffing Billy. I shall now go back to looking for my life down the back of the sofa." ‌ Since its debut in 2008, Only Connect has won over quiz show enthusiasts and secured its place as a staple in British television. The show consistently ranks as BBC Two's most viewed programme of the week, often sandwiched between Mastermind and University Challenge, contributing to the channel's popular quiz night line-up. The Mirror has reached out to the BBC for a response
