In the latest instance, APT has added another feather to the artists' caps, bringing in a historic milestone on the Billboard charts. Earlier this week, the smash hit song climbed back to the No. 22 spot in its 32nd consecutive week on the Hot 100, tying the record for the second-longest charting song by a K-pop artist on the list.
APT remained in the 28th position last week, only to climb back to the 22nd place, Billboard revealed on June 3.
Guess who might be Rose's direct competition? It is none other than the K-pop sensation BTS, whose 2020 hit song Dynamite achieved 32 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. Prior to this, the longest-charting record for a K-pop female artist was held by FIFTY FIFTY's Cupid, which held onto the chart for 25 weeks. While Rose has already surpassed the milestone with APT's position in the upper ranks for more than eight months, it is yet to be seen if it can move ahead of the BTS song.

As of now, BTS star Jimin's WHO is the overall longest-charting K-pop song, which appeared on the chart for 33 weeks in a row.
Rose's Records
Rose's solo album Rosie became the first by a female K-pop soloist to have spent 25 weeks on the Billboard 200, ranking No. 168 this week. Coming back to the records created by APT, the song has been holding onto its spot at No. 3 on both Billboard's Global 200 and Global Exclusive US chart, besides climbing to No. 18 on the Digital Song Sales chart and re-entering the Streaming Songs chart at No. 35.
Prior to that, APT also took on the No. 23 spot on Billboard's Radio Songs chart—the one that ranks every week's most popular songs by airplay on US radio stations across all musical genres.
In another major feat, the Rose and Bruno Mars song broke the record for spending the most weeks in Billboard Hot 100's top 10 by a K-pop soloist. The record was previously held by PSY's Gangnam Style.
