Love Island finalist is ‘producer plant' claim fans after spotting FIVE clues

The Irish Sun12 hours ago
LOVE Island fans are convinced one show star is a "producer plant" just hours before the show final.
They have claimed the ITV2 show hunk - who is battling it out for the £50k cash prize in tonight's final - "feels off" with a series of behaviour traits.

Now Barnsley-born Ty Isherwood has been put under the spotlight by a variety of eagle-eyed Love Island fans.
The 23-year-old entered proceedings at the Casa Amor stage and coupled up with Shakira, with the pair then being voted the most compatible by the public.
Yet a few days later, after briefly being coupled up with Lauren, he found a spark with Angel when she ranked him as her number one boy.
Despite the duo appearing to go from strength to strength, a portion of fans are hugely sceptical about his place on the show.
One took to Reddit to outline their view that the site engineer has been placed in the villa by show bosses and said: "Okay, hear me out. I genuinely think Ty might be a producer plant.
"Just my POV, but there are too many things that feel off."
They then outlined five reasons why this may be the case and argued: "Starting from Casa — he didn't seem to care much whether he ended up with Helena or Shakira. (Yes, maybe he just wanted to secure a spot, but the indifference felt too flat.).
"When Shakira and Ty did the voting to dump a couple he just agreed with whatever Shakira said.
"Then when Shakira dumped him for Conor, there was zero reaction. He was just suddenly was okay with Lauren."
For the fourth reason, they continued: "Then, just as he's settling with Lauren, boom — Angel enters, and suddenly he dumps Lauren like a formality."

They then wrapped their argument and put: "And through all of this, no real emotional depth, no strong connections, and almost no air time.
"It honestly seems like he's just going with whatever the producers lay out for him. He hasn't actively pursued anyone. No spark, no persuasion — just vibes and scripted transitions.
"I feel like they brought in Angel mostly for Harry — and to stir things up. Ty would have been so cool to re-couple with Helena, especially since they didn't during Casa. Anyone else feel like something's off?"
Fans were quick to respond to the wild claim.
Another replied: "He's just not as attention seeking as other guys. All of them and none of them are producer plants. They are all told what to do by producers."
A third then wrote: "I mean this would align with the fact Ty was on the dry run (where he both met and slept with Lauren before the show).
"You definitely could be going somewhere with this but I'm unsure how much manipulation the producers can realistically do."
COUPLE DOUBT
The claims came after fans already had doubts about how committed Angel was to Ty.
Eyebrows were raised as Ty asked Angel if they could 'go exclusive' – essentially making them boyfriend/girlfriend in all but name – yet her reaction left viewers believing there's doubt in place for Angel.
Throw in their differing lifestyles, and some are thinking that they could already be on the way out.
A Reddit poster explained: 'Hear me out. Angel is a fairly big Instagram influencer, who if you look at her instagram seems to be all about the boujee life.
'Her entire feed is her hanging with super stunning models all with huge followings on yachts in Spain, ski trips in the French Alps, constant trips to Dubai and seems to be living a pretty expensive glamorous life.'
'Ty is a sweetheart but does seem just like a genuine working class guy from a normal background,' they added.
'Absolutely nothing wrong with that, I just find it hard to believe this is the type of guy Angel is genuinely interested in with the lifestyle she projects on Instagram.'
Other fans are convinced the duo had a connection before the show even started, while others were left confused by Ty's kissing technique.
The remaining couples still in the villa and battling it out in the final are: Ty and Angel, Toni and Cach, Shakira and Harry, and Yasmin and Jamie.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.

Love Island star caught snubbing finalist and ‘ignoring' her during live final – but did you spot it?

AN ex Love Islander appeared to brutally snub one of the show's finalists during the show's live episode. During the final, all of the former Islanders made one last comeback to the villa to watch the champion be crowned. 4 Love Island fans noticed that one ex Islander appeared to snub Yasmin Credit: Eroteme 4 Helena could be seen chatting away as she failed to listen to Yasmin's interview In a surprising result, fan-favourites Yasmin and Jamie found themselves finishing in third place being beaten by Shakira and Harry in second place and eventual winners, Toni and Cach. However, one former Islander appeared to totally dismiss Yasmin and Jamie as they could be seen chatting away throughout the couple's interview with host Maya Jama. Helena appeared distracted as she 'ignored' what Yasmin had to say and instead caught up with fourth place star Angel in full view of the cameras. Each time the shot focused on Maya, Helena could be seen speaking to her co-star as she failed to listen in to what Yasmin had to say. Noticing their antics online, one fan questioned: "What is Helena and Angel talking about." Before someone else echoed: "All I could see behind Maya was angel and Helena chatting away the whole time during yaz and Jamie's interview." It added further fuel to the fire about the long-standing girls divide this year. Helena had failed to see eye-to-eye with Yasmin, Shakira or Toni during her time in the villa as two rival girl groups quickly emerged. Along with Meg and Megan, Helena had clashes with the other three villa girls throughout but it seemed they had the last laugh when they made up the top three spots. After weeks of coupling up, dumpings, texts and triangles, the series came to a close with a battle between Toni & Cach, Shakira Khan & Harry Cooksley, Angel Swift & Ty Isherwood and Yasmin Pettet & Jamie Rhodes. "Seeing Megan and Dejon dumped, Angel fourth place, Yas, Shakira and Toni top 3, Toni and Cach win. Suddenly life is feeling real again." Someone else added: "Toni got the last laugh. A win and a nice man to take home. Bet Harrison is gutted. Karma is a b***h." Another added: "Toni being American and winning, iconic!!! And thank you Cach for being so amazing and loving. Well deserved." 4 Every time the camera cut to Maya she could be seen in deep conversation

The second episode aired tonight and within minutes, a further two celebrities ripped off their arm bands and called it quits. However, Love Island star Chloe Burrows struggled on the climb, having already told her co-stars that she was finding the demands of the show difficult. As she was berated by the Special Forces staff for her moaning noises, she ripped off her arm band and told them between gasps for breath: "I can't do it." The DS was furious and yelled: "Can't do what? We've walked 300 metres up a f***ing hill!" He then told Chloe she was "wasting a massive opportunity" but through her tears, she told him: "I'm done, I'm done." After handing over her arm band, she headed down the hill, chucking her water bottle before taking off her backpack and saying: "F*** off, this is the worst thing I have ever done in my whole life!" When Maya Jama compared Majorca to Vegas, Toni remarked: "I get a lot more drinks and shed a lot less tears in Vegas." She also said her biggest lesson in the villa was: "Don't out up with sh**** men." Considering Harrison was in the audience in the garden, that was absolutely brutal. She added: "Got a few flights to catch but I'm sure we'll make it work." Toni also said that Cach told her that he loved her last night in the villa and she said it right back! She added: "We can be emotional together. And that's what I needed the whole time I have been in here." But Harrison wasn't too happy and appeared to roll his eyes and fake clap for the happy couple. But fans of the show were quick to notice how unhappy he really was. One wrote on social media: "THE WAY THE CAMERA WENT STRAIGHT TO HARRISON WHEN TONI MENTIONED SHITTY MEN LMAOOOOOO." Cash and Toni WIN Love Island and bag £50k as raunchiest ever series ends Another added: "Lauren and Harrison's faces when they found out Cach told Toni he loves her. "Are so ironic considering Harrison said he doesn't love Lauren on live yesterday MWAHAHAHAHAGAG." "You see Harrison and Lauren's faces drop when Toni admitted Cach said I love you and she told him she loved him too," asked another. While another said: "HARRISON'S FACE WHEN TONI SAID CACH SAID HE LOVED TONI FOLLOWED BY A BIG GULP OF HIS DRINK. "MAN DOES NOT WANT LAUREN, MAN STILL WANTS TONI HAHAHAHAHA NEVER." "Harrison and Lauren looking at each other and raising their eyebrows when Toni and Cach said he told her he loves her.. what a bitter couple," added another fan of the show. And another simply stated: "Harrison is jealous." But in the dramatic climax after two months on-screen, host Maya Jama told the loved up couple - Toni and Cach - they'll be taking home £50,000. Angel and Ty finished in fourth place, with the smitten couple saying they couldn't wait for their relationship to start in the outside world. In third place was Yas and Jamie who gushed about their romantic connection.
