Chappell Roan reveals her 'first kiss' and how 'kissing girls' is better
The 27-year-pop star has recalled her first kiss when she was a teenager, and admitted she made "the first move" in front of her family home.
She told W Magazine: "[It was] in my parents' driveway. I was 15. I made the move. I usually make the first move!
"We had been seeing each other, going on dates every weekend for a month, and I was like, it's time to kiss.
"It was fun. But I would say that kissing girls is funner."
It's not the only milestone for the 'Hot To Go' hitmaker, as she can also remember on the first song she sang.
She added: ''Oops!… I Did It Again', by Britney Spears.
"My mother took me out of gymnastics because I did the Britney dances instead of listening to the gymnastics teacher.
"I also sang, 'Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.' "
When it comes to her love life, Chappell recently revealed she is in a "serious" relationship with someone she was previously involved with before her rise to fame.
Asked if she is single during an appearance on the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast in March, she said: "No", and added she has been in a relationship for "six months".
She was then asked if the romance is "casual" and replied: "No, it's serious. I'm very in love, but I am pro-single.
"Everyone should be single, I'm serious. Be single. Stop dating. Be single. Have a great time alone. Find out for yourself if you can one hundred per cent be okay alone before you date.
"That's what I found out. I had a great time when I was single, and I know that I'll be okay, and now I have an awesome time that I'm with someone."
Chappell went on to explain that her relationship came about after the pair was set up by a mutual friend.
She explained: "I'm usually the one who makes – like in every circumstance – I make the first move,.
"I haven't dated someone since this all really, really blew up. I'm dating the same person that I was dating before I like blew up, so I'm not sure how I would date now.
"I think it would actually be a nightmare. I think I would be so single right now because you're terrified of their intentions. I'm scared. I'm scared.
"I don't trust anyone. I just think in my head, I'm like, any new person that I'm texting, I'm like: 'I'm assuming they will screenshot this and send it to someone else.' "

Penn Badgley and Meghann Fahy cast in You Deserve Each Other
Penn Badgley and Meghann Fahy are to star in the romantic comedy You Deserve Each Other. The pair have signed up for the Amazon MGM movie based on the novel by Sarah Hogle that is being directed by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn, the writing team behind the hit rom-coms Never Been Kissed and He's Just Not That Into You. The duo have also revised the script that was initially penned by Brett Haley and Marc Basch. You Deserve Each Other tells the story of Naomi and Nick, a couple who are about to get married and live happily ever after except for one important thing - they've fallen completely out of love with each other. With their wedding fast approaching and the pressure rising, the duo both resolve to secretly push the other into calling off the ceremony by any means possible - including pranks, sabotage and all-out emotional warfare. Badgley previously starred in the hit teen drama series Gossip Girl in the role of Dan Humphrey but admits that he was "close to broke" before he landed the part. During an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast earlier this year, the 38-year-old actor explained: "I was financially independent by 15. I wasn't always the breadwinner, but I've always needed to and wanted to provide support for my parents since then." Penn admits that he was "tired of television" before Gossip Girl and only accepted the role because he needed the cash. He explained: "I was close to broke, although I was looking forward to figuring that out. "The future was a real unknown and I think the stakes [were] high." Penn has reinvented himself by playing serial killer Joe Goldberg in the Netflix series You but accepts that he will be defined by his work on Gossip Girl. He said: "I'm going to be 39 this year. Next year, I will be 40. I will still be answering questions about this show I decided to do when I was 20. And whatever. That is what it is ... It sets you on a certain track that you have to in a sense resist. Work with it, interface with it. Otherwise, it just sort of takes you on its ride." Gossip Girl made Penn a household name aged just 20 and he has had to "really grapple" with the downsides of being in the spotlight. He told The Guardian newspaper: "[Fame is] extremely unnatural, just the way that people want to relate to you. It's not a new idea that fame has all these nefarious dimensions to it. "And in order to even appreciate or utilise the privileges that come with it, one has to really grapple with the ways in which it's completely disabled parts of you or your life, or your relationship to others and society. "The privileges and the sacrifices are both extreme and obscene, and so you have to take them both. In order to be a decent person, a good father and a husband, a good friend, a responsible colleague, I've been grappling with all the ways in which this stuff is just not a good way for somebody to live."

Credit: Supplied 'It was over a negotiation, and I tried everything I could to fix or change it.' 'He left. I was devastated.' Meloni's character Elliot Stabler has since become the star of spin-off Law & Order: Organized Crime, which has run since 2021. Elliott Stabler has starred as the lead in spinoff show Law and Order: Organised Crime Credit: NBC The actor briefly returned to the world of SVU during season 22 in 2021 and has continued to make occasional small appearances on the series in recent years. Mariska Hargitay discovered parental truth from head of her mom's fab club
Mariska Hargitay discovered the truth about her parentage from the head of her late mother's fan club. The 61-year-old actress - whose mom, actress Jayne Mansfield, was killed in a car accident when she was a baby - recently revealed that she had discovered in her 20s that her dad was actually Italian entertainer Nelson Sardelli, who her mother had dated following a brief split from her spouse, Mickey Hargitay, who Mariska had grown up believing was her biological parent. And she has now opened up on how the truth was first revealed. Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she said: "It was so rough. I had been invited to this guy named Sabin Gray's house, and he was head of the Jayne Mansfield fan club, and he was this lovely guy and just obsessed with Jayne and loved her so much and was a huge collector of memorabilia and movie posters and anything related to her... "He's showing me all these photos, he's showing me, whatever it is, dresses that she had that he collected, earrings that she wore, things from movies, from the movie set, props or whatever and then he says to me, 'Do you want to see a picture of Nelson?' And I just looked at him, and this jolt went through my body, and I said, 'Who's Nelson?' and then I knew in one second. "I saw the blood drain out of [Sabin's] face, and he sort of panicked and turned white, and then he said, 'Oh, it's probably not true, it's probably not true.' "And that's when I knew and I think that he couldn't believe that I didn't know. I was 25. How could I not know? And I understand that, and then, he says, 'It's not true. I'm sure it's not true,' and then he showed me his picture." But the 'Law and Order: SUV' star realised the truth "on a cellular level, it was just like DNA talking to DNA" when she saw a picture of Nelson, and it made her feel her life was "over". Mariska - who has August, 18, Amaya, 14, and Andrew, 13, with husband Peter Hermann - spoke with one of her brothers, who didn't know the real story and then went off to speak to Mickey. She recalled: "I was hysterically crying and in a state and hear about this metaphor; My dad was building me, physically building me, a house, so I drive up to the house that he is building me and confront him, and he was like, 'What? What are you talking about? Are you crazy? That's so not true. "He kept saying, 'You look like my father, you look exactly like my father. You're a Hargitay to the end,' and the irony is that I'm more like my dad than anyone in our whole family. I am mini Mickey. And so it was just a very extraordinarily painful moment." The pair never spoke of it again and Mariska is unsure if Mickey - who died in 2006 - ever knew the real truth. She said: "I pretended that I believed him and we never spoke of it again, and then he used to say, even before he died, 'Remember when you thought that crazy thing?' and I'd go, 'I know, wasn't that nuts?' "I'll never know [if he knew]. I think that he integrated it [like] 'this is my new reality.' He made a choice, and that was his new truth and whether it's true or not emotionally, it was his truth. "I understand it because I have two adopted kids, and they are no different, no different than my biological son, and so I go, 'I get it.' It didn't matter. It doesn't matter." Mariska is now in contact with Nelson and his three daughters.
