Liam Gallagher changed the lyrics to an Oasis classic in Cardiff on Friday night as the band kicked off their long-awaited reunion tour at the Principality Stadium. One of the band's most famous songs, Wonderwall, was the penultimate track on their 23-song set list, performed as part of the encore.
And as he belted out the immortal line: "There are many things that I would like to say to you", he added: "But I don't speak Welsh." The humorous ad-lib was just one of his interactions with the crowd on the evening which drew a smile.
Earlier in the evening, in a nod to the huge prices fans had to fork out to be at the show, he'd asked the fans in the crowd: "You alright, you all having a good time? Was it worth the £40,000 you paid for the ticket?"
During the final song of the evening, Champagne Supernova, Liam thanked Oasis fans for "putting up with them".
He said: "Right then beautiful people this is it. Nice one for putting up with us over the years.
"We are hard work, I get it. Champagne Supernova, nice one for coming out."
Fans filtering out of the stadium last night gave glowing reviews to our reporters, describing it as "the best gig ever", "ten out of ten" and "worth every penny."
Others described it as "absolutely amazing" and "an emotional, out of body experience".
Critics also lauded the performance of the band, with five star reviews given across the board.
Tickets for the Oasis reunion sold out across all venues due to huge demand when they went online earlier in the year.
However, there are still several options available for fans trying to snag a last-minute spot. Limited last-minute tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans who can no longer go sell their seats, although these tend to go into and out of stock quickly.
Elsewhere, resale sites like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are selling tickets for various dates with prices from £121, although fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.

Viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.

Beyonce sends fans into a frenzy as she reunites with Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for the 'perfect ending' to her Cowboy Carter tour in Las Vegas
Beyonce brought the curtain down on her record-breaking Cowboy Carter tour in spectacular fashion on Saturday night, as she reunited with her Destiny's Child bandmates for a medley of hits. As she took to the stage for her final show at Las Vegas ' Allegiant Stadium, the hitmaker was joined by Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams for a medley of 2000s hits Bootylicious and Lose My Breath. The trio also delivered a rendition of Beyonce's Renaissance number Energy, including the song's viral 'mute challenge.' It was the first time Destiny's Child had performed together since Kelly and Michelle made a brief cameo in Beyonce's Coachella performance back in 2018, following their split in 2005. It was no surprise that the performance sent die-hard fans into a frenzy, with many declaring it the 'perfect ending' to Beyonce's tour. Posts on X included: 'THE HUGGING AND HOLDING HANDS AT THE END??? I'M FALLING TO MY KNEES 'The Cowboy Carter era changed my life, just like renaissance did, and I cannot imagine where act 3 will take us. Oh Beyonce the once in a lifetime artist you are. 'Oh when Destiny's Child reunites, it's not nostalgia - it's divine timing... Beyonce closed Cowboy Carter with the loudest mic drop in history 'THE DESTINY'S CHILD B*****H I LIFE FOR THISSSS; The way my innter 2000s self just screamed 'SOME PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW ICONIC THIS WAS; 'You thought this was just a tour? Nah baby, it's a family reunion with rhinestones 'Y'all will never understand how iconic this is considering they're one of the most successful girl groups of all time 'Beyonce closing Cowboy Carter with Kelly and Michelle by her side feels like the perfect ending.' It comes after Beyonce's tour was plagued with a string of incidents from poor ticket sales, on-stage tech malfunctions to choreography issues. Beyoncé recently concluded her epic six-night concern run in London and her shows in Paris. She closed out the European leg of her Cowboy Carter tour and brought out her husband to perform their hit single Crazy in Love in the French capital as the couple took the stage together for the first time in seven years. Her concert in France was a family affair as she was also joined by their daughter Blue Ivy on stage and had her mom Tina Knowles supporting them. After performing in cities around Europe, Beyonce performed in her hometown of Houston, Texas and experienced a horrifying moment when she suffered a stage mishap with a mid-air prop. At one point during her show on June 29, the red convertible she rides high above the crowd during her performance of 16 Carriages tilted dangerously, threatening to throw the Cowboy Carter artist off the car and into the audience. Still, Beyoncé returned to the main stage and finished the performance like the consummate professional she is. After the show, Beyoncé's team released a statement addressing the incident. 'Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt. 'She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident,' Parkwood Entertainment said.

Drake angers fans after cancelling Manchester gig last minute
Drake has left fans in Manchester fuming after cancelling his show at the city's Co-Op Live. The Hotline Bling hitmaker, 38, was set to play his third show at the venue tomorrow as part of his $OME $PECIAL $HOWS 4 U tour. However, the Canadian rapper will no longer perform the gig due to 'unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics' per a statement shared by the venue. The message, shared on the Co-Op Live website, reads: 'Due to unforeseen ferry schedules and travel logistics, tomorrow's performance in Manchester on July 28 has been rescheduled,' reports the Manchester Evening News. 'The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5, and it's set to be an unforgettable night. All tickets remain valid for the new date – we can't wait to see you there!' Per the Ticketmaster website, those who cannot make the rescheduled date will be able to get their ticket refunded in full, which can be requested via their Ticketmaster account. Following his Manchester dates, the One Dance hitmaker will head over to Amsterdam for a string of shows at the Ziggo Dome. Fans have been quick to air their frustration over the cancellation online, with X user JoshDL796 asking if the whole thing was 'a joke.' CharlieeB_x asked: 'How is Drake using 'logistics' as an excuse to reschedule tomorrow nights show in Manchester when he's already here?' Josh Lax said they would 'never listen to him again' while Georgina Kritik dubbed the artist 'lame' for using travel issues as an excuse. 'Extended my unpaid leave in Dubai to stay in Manchester so I could see Drake on 28th July just for him to cancel last minute and say he's got travel problems my brother you are in the city wtfym!' Hassan said. The tour kicked off in Birmingham following Drake's performance at Wireless Festival. It comes as the musician's feud with Kendrick Lamar rumbles on, announcing legal action against the latter earlier this year. It has been reported that Drake, real name Aubrey Drake Graham, is suing UMG for spreading the a 'false and malicious narrative'. More Trending It stems from Kendrick's hit song Not Like Us which contains lyrics that read: 'Say, Drake, I hear you like 'em young,' and 'Just make sure you hide your lil' sister from him.' The artwork released with the single is an aerial shot of Drake's mansion with sex offender targets overlaid. TMZ reported that the suit claims the song's lyrics are filled with 'inflammatory and shocking allegations' and claims that UMG had an ulterior motive when it came to promoting Kendrick's tune. Drake's announcement that he was set to perform at Wireless was his first major news since Kendrick's Super Bowl half-time performance, in which he played Not Like Us live. Got a story?
