Police made an arrest after a brutal street fight on the streets of London earlier today which was caught on video by a horrified onlooker. The footage starts with a man armed with a baseball bat approaching another man who suddenly charged him as he swung his fists, making him drop the brutal weapon with a loud clang and quickly scamper backwards.
The video then cut to the man who charged the other thug sitting on a bike attempting to escape. Before he can get away however he was run down by a black BMW, before getting to his knee before the footage stopped.
Some claimed the man who charged was holding a large knife, although it is not clear in the video which was uploaded and widely shared on X. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the shocking scenes in Islington, north London.
The person who shot the footage can be heard saying: 'It's crazy.'
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "We were called at 11:37hrs on Saturday, 24 May to reports of a group of people fighting in Holloway Road, N19.
'Met officers responded and arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of being in possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in custody and there were no reports of any injuries.
"Our investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 3012/24May."
Camden Police added: 'We were called at 11:37hrs today to reports of a group of people fighting in Holloway Road, N19.
'Officers responded and arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with the incident. There were no reports of injuries.'
Earlier this year two men were seen having a fight on a packed bus on a busy high street as shocked passengers watched on. The pair were seen grappling with each other near the door.
One swung at his rival before he threw a punch back. The duo then continued to wrestle on the ground.
One customer could be seen trying to board the Number 222 service. Another filmed the ugly scenes on their mobile phone. It is unknown what triggered the fight.
The shocking incident happened on Monday March 10 as the bus headed to High Street, Uxbridge, west London. Some locals were shocked, but others didn't seem surprised by the brawl.
Vik Singh said: 'Madness.' Another added: 'Nothing to see here, just a normal day in London.' A third said: 'This country is going to s*ite.'

EXCLUSIVE Met terror cop who won bravest officer award for stopping Samurai sword attack is charged with sexually assaulting a woman
A Met Police counter terror firearms officer once named the bravest officer in England and Wales has been suspended after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman at a train station. Sergeant Stephen Brown, 47, is claimed to have sexually touched the woman without her consent at Biggleswade Railway Station on November 29 2019. The force said: 'We are aware that a serving Met officer has been charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident in November 2019. He is currently suspended.' Brown was previously the recipient of a national bravery award in 2014 after he tackled a samurai sword-wielding attacker. The knifeman repeatedly lunged at him with the weapon until the officer moved inside its arc and struck him with his metal baton. Ahla Timofei, then 26, dropped the sword and Sgt Brown leapt on top of him, holding him down until colleagues arrived. When they searched his rucksack they found a terrifying arsenal of weapons including a crossbow, mallet, machete and gas masks. Brown was named the overall winner of the Police Bravery Awards at a ceremony in Central London, recieving the award from then-head of the Met Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe. Ex-Prime Minister Theresa May lauded the officer, saying his actions were 'a powerful reminder of the commitment and courage that police officers bring to their role'. Brown, of Sandy, Central Bedfordshire, appeared at Stevenage Magistrates Court in November, when he entered a plea of not guilty. He is set to appear at St Albans Crown court in September. British Transport Police, who charged Brown, said: 'Stephen Brown, aged 47, of Sandy, Bedfordshire, will appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday 1 September charged with sexual assault. 'The charge relates to an incident that took place at Biggleswade station on 29 November 2019.' The dramatic confrontation involving Sgt Brown took place when he was called to an attack on a woman in Holloway Road, North London. Timofei, 26, was later found guilty of attempted murder and affray and a judge ordered that he spend the rest of his life in a secure mental health unit Witnesses heard the victim's screams after Timofei set upon her with his sword, severing her thumb and leaving her with wounds to her face, arms and legs. As his partner gave first aid to the bleeding 22-year-old Italian woman, Sgt Brown confronted the sword-wielding maniac alone. Describing what happened, Sgt Brown said: 'I was running full pelt at him and he turned around and raised the sword straight up in the air. 'He swung downwards and the sword missed my neck by about a foot. I stepped back and said 'put the sword down', but he didn't listen and took a few more swings. 'After spraying him he went to scratch his eye and I thought, I've got to do this now. I rushed in and he raised his sword again but I hit his arm as many times as I could and managed to jump on top of him and the cavalry arrived. 'I could see in his eyes he wanted to kill me. I wasn't going to see Christmas: I thought my luck had run out.' Sgt Brown was guided to the swordman by a passer-by who saw the original attack and followed him while on the phone to a police operator. The officer said: 'I have no doubt that he wasn't going to stop until he killed someone that night. I also have no doubt that any cop would have done the same. 'I'm not a hero: the real hero is the member of the public who went above and beyond and followed him, having seen what he had done.' Timofei, 26, was later found guilty of attempted murder and affray and a judge ordered that he spend the rest of his life in a secure mental health unit. Then-Home Secretary Theresa May said: 'The actions of Sgt Stephen Brown are a powerful reminder of the commitment and courage that police officers bring to their role. 'He put his own life in danger to defuse a terrifying situation. His intervention protected the public and may well have saved the lives of others. 'We should reflect on the bravery shown by all the officers nominated, and that displayed by all police officers in the course of their duties each day.' Steve White, chair of the Police Federation of England and Wales, added: 'I am constantly humbled and amazed by the selfless acts of bravery carried out by police officers on a day to day basis. 'For every act of courage and bravery recognised in the Police Bravery Awards there are hundreds more that occur in our communities every day that go unrecognised.'

Brit paedophile behind fake Disneyland wedding ‘took child bride, 9, and her mum on holiday' before grim ceremony
A CONVICTED Brit paedophile allegedly took a nine-year-old "child bride" and her mum on holiday a year before arranging a grim wedding ceremony. Jacky Jhaj, 39, attempted to marry the young Ukrainian girl in Disneyland last month before the "dangerous sexual predator" was arrested. 6 Convicted Brit paedophile Jacky Jhaj allegedly took his nine-year-old 'child bride' and her mum on holiday Credit: MET Police 6 Jhaj, 39, attempted to marry the young Ukrainian girl in Disneyland last month Credit: 6 His sick plan was foiled by Vitalijs - a former Russian special forces paratrooper Credit: Peter Allen Jhaj reportedly spent over £111,000 on the sick wedding plans as he hired more than 100 actors to play guests at the staged event. One of those recruited through a social media callout was told he would play the 'father' of the bride. Devastated Vitalijs, 54, said he had no idea what he had signed up for prior to turning up in Paris. The former Russian special forces paratrooper was one of the first to raise the alarm about the sickening marriage plot. Vitalijs says one major warning sign of Jhaj's true intentions came after he spoke to the bride-to-be's mum. She revealed the London-born predator had been in constant contact with the family for over a year. Jhaj had spoiled the mum with money and gifts and even paid for a family holiday, Vitalijs claimed. He told The Telegraph: "This Ukrainian woman [the mother] told me that she had known this Jacky for a year. "He paid her money and helped her family. "They went somewhere together to relax, the three of them. I think he won her over with gifts." Massive fireball explosion near O2 arena caused by convicted paedophile who blew up BBC lorry while filming NAKED Vitalijs, who only uses his first name for security reasons, also revealed he was offered £550 to play "the father of the bride". But he was lied to as he signed up to give away the girl's 41-year-old mother. He soon realised inside the theme park the "bride" was instead an underage girl as he immediately refused to be a part of the bizarre act. Vitalijs then hatched a plan to get the ceremony cancelled as he broke into the park without a pass on the morning of the planned event. Vitalijs approached the wedding stage and handed a note to Disney staff, who saw a "scared and confused" child in a big dress with four-inch heels taped to her feet. Staff managed to stop the wedding immediately and called the French cops. Several suspects were arrested within minutes - including Jhaj and the girl's mum. Jean-Baptiste Bladier, the Meaux prosecutor, confirmed the Ukrainian child had not suffered "any violence, neither physical nor sexual" and had "not been forced into playing the bride". The mum was later released without charge but Jhaj was held after being labelled the "mastermind" behind the operations. It was then revealed that he had rented the resort outside of its opening hours to host the fake wedding. His sick acts landed him charges of fraud, breach of trust, money laundering and identity theft. He was also placed under assisted witness status for corruption of a minor. After his arrest, the convicted paedophile told the examining magistrates in Meaux: "I'm just a simple actor who took part in a film shoot". His dark past was soon uncovered as in 2016 Jhaj was found guilty of sexual activity with two 15-year-olds in Britain. The investigation into the fake wedding continues. Who is Jacky Jhaj? CONVICTED paedophile Jacky Jhaj, 39, has been previously jailed in the UK for child sex offences. He was on the run from British authorities at the time of the sick wedding stunt, French prosecutors say. The disgraced director and actor, from Feltham, was jailed in 2016 for four years after being found guilty on four counts of sexual activity with two 15-year-olds. Before his arrest, he drove around the streets of Hounslow, offering girls alcohol and claiming to be a Hollywood film producer. But the convicted paedophile has pulled a string of bizarre stunts since being released from jail. In September 2024, Jhaj staged an explosion using an old BBC truck and Union Jack-draped vehicles packed with explosives, filming himself naked as the blaze spiralled out of control behind him. The incident was reported to be a film production stunt. But it triggered panic, with hundreds of calls flooding emergency services as locals feared a terrorist attack. Residents were not warned beforehand and only found out afterwards through a post on the Borough of Greenwich's official Facebook page. A year before the explosion, footage surfaced of Jhaj mixing with around 200 children and 100 young women at a film shoot in London's Leicester Square. The shoot, which shows some of the children touching Jhaj, took place on October 17, 2023, the BBC revealed at the time. The BBC reported that the organiser of the event - known as "Project BRT" - hired 90 children aged six to 14 from an agency called Jam 200 The production also booked around 100 young women between the ages of 16 to 24 from Uni-versal Extras. 6 A bracelet given to guests at the fake ceremony showed the name 'Jack' as the pretend husband on behalf of paedophile Jacky Credit: Instagram/bfmtv 6 Jhaj was charged with several offences by French police
