Last Updated:
The festivities to celebrate BTS' 12th debut anniversary began on May 31 and will go on till June 29.
BTS, the seven-membered K-pop powerhouse, is turning 12 on June 13, and fans worldwide are thrilled. This year's celebration is extra special because it is not just their 12th debut anniversary but also the moment that fans have been longing for nearly three years – BTS ' reunion after members' mandatory military service. To mark this significant milestone, BTS has planned a big two-day event in Goyang, South Korea.
The festivities to celebrate BTS' 12th debut anniversary began on May 31 and will go on till June 29. One of the biggest highlights of the event will be J-Hope and Jin's solo concerts. As reported by AllKpop on Wednesday, June 11, Goyang City announced that J-Hope is all set to perform the last two shows of his solo world tour at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on June 13 and 14.
The BTS rapper, singer and dancer embarked on his Hope on the Stage tour on February 28, 2025, in Seoul. After touring the United States, Mexico, the Phillippines, Japan, Indonesia, and others, J-Hope is bringing his tour back to South Korea one last time.
On the other hand, BTS' Jin will kick off his much-awaited solo tour, Run Seokjin EP, at the auxiliary stadium of the Goyang Sports Complex on June 28 and will also perform at the same stadium on June 29. He is set to take his tour to the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands before concluding it on August 10.
At the same time, Goyang City is also hosting the two-day offline event titled 2025 BTS FESTA at the KINTEX Exhibition Center II on June 13 and 14 to commemorate their 12th anniversary. It will be the first time that BTS will be celebrating their anniversary in Goyang. Like every time, this year's also carries a theme, and 2025's theme is Twelve O'Clock, inspired by BTS's heartfelt ballad 00:00 (Zero O'Clock)—a song about starting fresh.
Adding to the excitement, special photo zones based on this year's theme have been set throughout Goyang City. Fans can take pictures at the Ilsan Lake Park, the Goyang Tourist Information Center, the parking tower at the Ilsanseo-gu District Office, and plazas near KINTEX.
Speaking about the BTS FESTA celebration, Goyang City's mayor, Lee Dong Hwan, expressed his gratitude, saying, 'We sincerely thank BTS, Korea's representative artists, for choosing Goyang. We warmly welcome ARMY fans from around the world to our city." To support such a large-scale event, Goyang City has launched a responsive plan, including traffic and safety measures around the venue, transportation facilities for foreigners and an on-site administrative team.

BTS' Suga, Jimin and Jungkook reunite for Jin's Seoul concert; Min Yoongi breaks his Instagram hiatus after two years
After RM (Kim Namjoon) and V (Kim Taehyung) showed their support on the opening night of Jin's (Kim Seokjin) RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, the second day (June 29) turned into another mini BTS reunion as Suga (Min Yoongi), Jimin (Park Jimin), and Jungkook (Jeon Jungkook) arrived at Goyang Stadium to cheer on the eldest hyung. With all members now discharged, the concert felt like a soft prelude to the full group's long-awaited return. Fans were quick to spot the trio in the crowd offline, and those online were equally rejoiced as Suga marked the moment by breaking his almost two-year-long Instagram hiatus. Suga, Jimin and Jungkook attend Jin's solo concert in Seoul Jin's concert is turning out to be never let them know your next move for the BTS ARMY. After they got a surprise appearance from V and RM on Day 1, Day 2 turned into another memorable day after the remaining three members, Suga, Jimin, and Jungkook, were spotted cheering for Kim Seokjin in the crowd. Representing introverts everywhere, all three showed up masked and effortlessly low-key, but still turned heads. Jungkook stayed true to his signature minimalist style in an all-black ensemble, blending comfort and edge in the most Jungkook way possible. Meanwhile, Jimin and Suga unintentionally twinned, both rocking black beanies, crisp white T-shirts, and loose black shorts. Despite trying to keep things under the radar, their presence wasn't unnoticed. Fans at the venue quickly picked up on their subtle style cues and shared clips of the trio keeping to themselves, vibing while cheering on Jin. Behind them was spotted TXT's Beomgyu, who is a certified Jin fan. YOONGI, JIMIN AND JUNGKOOK ARE HERE TO SUPPORT SEOKJIN TOO!! #JIMIN #JUNGKOOK AND #SUGA ARE HERE !! 😭💜 Suga breaks his Instagram hiatus Just when fans thought the moment couldn't get any better, Suga surprised everyone by breaking his nearly two-year-long Instagram hiatus. He posted an Instagram Story, giving a glimpse of the cheering crowd as Jin performed on stage, and that single photo was enough to send ARMYs around the world into an emotional spiral. It was a show of support, perfectly in line with Yoongi's subtle way of expressing love. Notably, his last update on Instagram was back in August 2023, making this all the more meaningful for fans who had been patiently waiting for his return. OMG #SUGA POSTED ON INSTAGRAM STORY AT #JIN CONCERT 😭💜 BTS reunion at J-Hope's concert With all remaining BTS members now officially discharged from military service, June marked a major turning point for the group and their fans. RM and V completed their service on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11, and Suga — who served as a social service worker — wrapped up his duties on June 21. Jin and J-Hope had already been discharged earlier in 2024, making this the first time all seven members were out of service. Fittingly, the full group reunited on June 13 at J-Hope's HOPE ON THE STREET encore concert event in Seoul, which coincided with BTS' 11th debut anniversary. It was a historic moment, signalling the long-awaited return of OT7 and the beginning of a new era for BTS and ARMY alike. Meanwhile, as for BTS' official comeback, fans are still waiting for confirmation from Big Hit Music. However, several Korean media reports have suggested that the group is planning to release a new album in March 2026. Until then, ARMY can look forward to the members' pursuits, solo projects, and heartwarming appearances like these that continue to keep the BTS spirit alive. Did RM's mom order V into wearing son's jacket to save him from bugs? Fans dig into adorable BTS family moment
BTS' Jin officially became the first vocal member of the group to conduct his solo concert. Kicking off with RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in Goyang, day 1, was full of celebrity visits, including those from teammates J-Hope, RM, and V. The youngest of them decided to dress in nothing but a tank top, causing internet frenzy and bug attack. Soon, noticing the cold and the insects flying about, RM's mom instructed her son to offer a jacket to V, making the fans gush about their friendship. V's sleeveless shirt moment and how RM saved him Behind the singers themselves, Jin, SUGA, RM, and Jungkook's parents arrived to support the stars. Sitting in the same VIP spot, soon the leader's mother hinted at V to cover his arms, which had seemingly become food for the many bugs at the venue, also trying to protect him from the cold. Obediently following her advice, V looked around but, unable to find any options, was kindly offered the jacket RM had worn while returning from his overseas trip. Soon, the Layover singer was engulfed in the oversized zipper. Fans have since reacted to the interaction between BTS' parents and the members, who continue to be close as ever. They have appreciated how they're all one big family who care for each other. In the absence of V 's own mother, taking a page from her son's leadership book, RM's mom took responsibility for looking after the younger one. The Wild Flower star returned from his trip to Switzerland and, seemingly, Paris as well, only to quickly head to Jin's debut solo concert, proving his dedication towards fellow members. Albeit looking tired, he supported the Abyss singer with ARMY, enjoying alongside J-Hope and V. The second day of the concert at the venue is likely to invite visits from SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook, who were nowhere to be seen yesterday. The remaining families are also expected to show up to support Jin.

On June 26, unauthorized videos and voice clips of the duo began circulating online. They're allegedly recorded during private moments abroad. One audio clip even appears to capture a lakeside conversation, sparking fears of stalking and hidden cameras. Fans are furious, calling it a serious invasion of privacy. The incident follows an earlier break-in attempt at Jungkook's home. Now, ARMYs are demanding HYBE take legal action and boost the duo's security overseas. Meanwhile, sightings of the duo in Switzerland and Europe have fueled rumors that they're filming Season 2 of Are You Sure? But the excitement is now overshadowed by growing concern for their safety. This marks their first return since Ju Haknyeon's controversial exit. The group will promote as a nine-member team. Soon after, the group will embark on THE BLAZE world tour, starting August 8 in Seoul, with stops across Asia. The announcement follows Sangyeon's military enlistment and Ju's removal after a scandal involving an AV actress. Fans are currently divided. Waiting for Gyeongdo to premiere in December 2025 Waiting for Gyeongdo is an upcoming romantic comedy by JTBC, starring Park Seo Joon and Won Ji An. It has raised questions about whether the members are reconsidering their stance, though no official statement has been made. Earlier, speculations were already making rounds after Danielle appeared at OMEGA's Kyoto event on June 18. She was accompanied by ADOR staff. While fans questioned if this marked a return, sources clarified it was a pre-existing brand commitment, not a violation. Despite ongoing rumors, there's still no confirmation of reconciliation. The main lawsuit over NewJeans' exclusive contracts continues, with the next hearing set for July 24, 2025. Kim Sae Ron-Kim Soo Hyun scandal update This week saw major developments in the ongoing Kim Sae Ron and Kim Soo Hyun scandal. Moreover, the messages painted the manager as a caring, guardian-like figure. Meanwhile, on June 23, Kim Soo Hyun filed a fresh criminal complaint against Kim Se Ui and Kim Sae Ron's family. His legal team claimed a deepfake audio was used to spread false allegations of a past relationship and cover-up attempt. They call it a serious case of defamation and digital forgery.
