Fans fume as father of NFL star Amon-Ra St. Brown goes viral for ‘breeding' theory
John Brown and his wife, Miram, who is white, have three sons, including Equanimeous and Osiris, both of whom were Division I athletes. Equanimeous, a wide receiver and sixth-round draft pick in 2018, played for the Saints last year. Osiris was a wideout for Stanford but didn't pursue professional career due a lingering foot injury, the New York Post reports.

On Saturday, the 'St. Brown' podcast — which is hosted by Amon-Ra and Equanimeous — posted a clip of John, a former bodybuilder, explaining his philosophy on 'breeding' and raising three athletic sons.
You can watch John Brown explain his breeding theory in the player above.
'I believe in breeding,' John said. 'You gotta pick the right girl and the right guy … Look at you [both], good athlete, I'm Black, mom is white. I've done stepped on it once, you can't keep stepping on it because you're going to mess it up. You're going to weaken it …
'You can't keep cutting it. You and Brooklyn [Adams, Amon-Ra's fiancee], because Brooklyn's half and half, you've got a chance.
' … You've got to be careful, you've got to think about that. I'm Black, I've got the Black gold running through my veins, I'm excited and just going to find the right person to mate with. If I'm white, I'm saying, 'Let me get one of those brothers around here,' if you want to have athletes. If you don't want to have athletes, then just go ahead and spread your seed wherever.
'Mama got that big chin and big toes. Ain't nothing wrong with a big-toed woman … You've gotta think of this stuff, some guys don't think of it until later.'
The podcast was an old episode from August 2024, when John joined his sons as a guest.
Many were surprised by Brown's comments, while others deemed his remarks to be racist.
This isn't the first time John has echoed similar remarks when discussing his sons' personal lives on a mic.
During a December 2021 appearance on the 'Momentum' podcast, John explained how he told his sons to marry a Black woman.
'You can't keep cutting that blackness … My sons, I'm like, 'Man, you're all half black and half white. So you better try to marry a black girl because you want some athletes … because if not you gotta know what it is.
'You need a volleyball girl, like [5-foot-9] … African-American, oh yeah. Make sure her knees are lined up, you gotta be careful with that.
'I like little ankles, because they're swift. You want strong knees, and ask her about her family, but don't be so obvious … [Ask] did your dad play sports? Did your mom play? … You gotta think about these things.'

John Goodman shows off slimmed-down figure after 90kg weight loss
John Goodman is feeling good. The 'Roseanne' alum, 73, attended the 'Smurfs' premiere in Los Angeles on Sunday after he dropped 200 pounds on his weight loss journey. Goodman proudly showed off his slimmed-down transformation on the red carpet, posing for photos in a navy blue suit with a dark grey patterned tie and brown loafers. The actor voices Papa Smurf in the animated musical film directed by Chris Miller, the New York Post reports. The star-studded cast also includes Rihanna, James Corden, Nick Offerman, Dan Levy, Amy Sedaris, Natasha Lyonne, Sandra Oh and Hannah Waddingham. At his heaviest, Goodman weighed 392 pounds before he kicked off his fitness journey in 2007. One of the first times he debuted his 200-pound weight loss was on the red carpet at the 62nd Monte-Carlo TV festival in June 2023. With the help of help of personal trainer Mackie Shilstone, Goodman lost the weight by giving up alcohol, making several dietary changes including adopting a Mediterranean diet, and maintaining a consistent workout regimen that involved taking 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day and using an elliptical bicycle and treadmill. 'It takes a lot of creative energy to sit on your ass and figure out what you're going to eat next,' Goodman told People magazine in 2010. 'I wanted to live life better.' In 2016, he told ABC, 'I'd have a handful of food and it'd go to my mouth. I was just eating all the time. I was just eating alcoholically.' 'In the old days, I would take three months out, lose 60 or 70 pounds, and then reward myself with a 6-pack of Bud or whatever and just go back to my old habits,' he continued. 'Then this time I wanted to do it slowly, move, exercise. I'm getting to the age where I can't afford to sit still anymore. And it gives me the energy to work, 'cause work is very draining.' Goodman recently wrapped up his role as Dan Conner on 'The Conners.' The 'Roseanne' spin-off aired its series finale in April, and the closing scene featured Goodman sitting alone in the family living room and saying 'goodnight' directly to the camera. Executive producer and showrunner Bruce Helford told New York Post that the final scene was Goodman's idea. 'The Conners' aired for seven seasons from 2018 to 2025 after Roseanne Barr's controversial tweets got the 'Roseanne' revival axed. In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Goodman revealed he hasn't spoken to Barr, 72, in 'about seven or eight years.' 'I'd rather doubt if she wants to talk to me,' the 'Righteous Gemstones' added.

Conor McGregor breaks silence after ‘nudes were posted' and cheating scandal emerged

The former UFC champion took to social media to celebrate after he was spotted in Florida this week, The Sun reports. Posting on X, the MMA legend wrote: 'Happy birthday to me!' Watch the biggest Aussie sports & the best from overseas LIVE on Kayo Sports | New to Kayo? Get your first month for just $1. Limited time offer. It comes after what appears to be McGregor's nude photographs were allegedly leaked by Azealia Banks earlier today. She alleges the fighter sent her the photos on X unprompted – despite her not following him back. Azealia posted the two nude mirror selfies to her own X following. The rapper claims the messages were sexual harassment, but also said that she sent the boxer nude pictures as well in a sexting-back and-forth since 2016. One image posted by Azelia seemingly shows McGregor's manhood strapped to a dumbbell, captioned 'lifting weights'. She wrote: 'How you gonna send a b**** a some crooked d*** pics then threaten her not to tell. ''Like how are you really going to sexually harass me with the potato farmer d*** then threaten me not to tell????' In a later post, Azealia claimed she had sent McGregor naked pictures as well. In a follow-up post, Azealia wrote: 'No me and Conor McGregor have been sending each other unsolicited nudes since 2016. LOL.' Also this week, McGregor was caught kissing a mystery bikini-clad woman on holiday in Florida. Yesterday, The Sun reported that the former two-division UFC champion – who hasn't fought in nearly four years -cozied up with a dark-haired woman. He then laid down a towel for the woman and wrapped an arm around her shoulders in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. McGregor's fiancee Dee Devlin was not seen in the images, raising fresh questions about the couple's relationship. But Devlin expressed her continued support for her controversial partner in a birthday post showing the pair celebrating together. The couple began dating in 2008, became engaged in 2020 and have four children together. Last year the MMA star was found liable in a civil case that accused him of sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel room in December 2018. It was alleged that he had choked the claimant, leading to her fearing for her life. He disputes the charges, arguing that they had consensual sex. A second woman accused him of sexual assault following a 2023 incident at an NBA Finals game in Miami. He has faced no criminal charges for this second case.
