According to the information, after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, a war-like situation arose between India and Pakistan, and the Retreat ceremony at Wagah-Attari in Amritsar, Hussainiwala in Ferozepur, and Sadqi Chowki on the
India-Pakistan border
in Fazilka was suspended.
Now, in view of the gradually decreasing tension between India and Pakistan, it has been decided to restart the Retreat ceremony held at these three Joint Check Posts on the international border from Tuesday at 6 pm. Congress government in Karnataka created ‘urea crisis' to blame Centre: BJP
BJP Mysuru district president K.N. Subbanna on Tuesday blamed the Congress government for the urea shortage in Karnataka, and said that MPs and Ministers from the State belonging to the BJP are making efforts to get additional stocks of urea from the Centre to meet the demand. 'Our MPs met the Union Agriculture Minister and urged him to supply urea to the State to meet the increasing demand,' Mr. Subanna said at a press conference here. He said that 8,37,000 MT of fertilisers was supplied to the State so far this year and 6,30,000 MT of fertilisers had been distributed to farmers. 'The Congress government created the urea crisis and blamed the BJP government at the Centre for the shortage to put the latter in a spot,' he alleged. Accusing the Congress government of practising 'anti-farmer' and 'anti-people' policies, he said that the cost of sowing seeds has gone up by 20% and the incentive of ₹4,000 which was transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts when B.S.
