I too faced tough times, and I tried doing a few web shows, but the charm of TV is different. But I am happy to be working with the same team behind my last show, Dhruv Tara. They've always believed in me, and I am thankful for it. Working with them is like working with family."

Ashish Dixit and Shweta Kanoje renew wedding vows

Ashish Dixit, lead actor of 'Pati Brahmachari,' and his wife Shweta Kanoje reaffirmed their commitment in a Trimbakeshwar ceremony, fulfilling a promise made during their dating years Ashish Dixit , who plays the lead in the TV show Pati Brahmachari, recently renewed his wedding vows with wife Shweta Kanoje. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, had a small ceremony in Trimbakeshwar, fulfilling a promise they made to each other years ago. Ashish shares, 'When Shweta and I were dating in 2016, we had promised each other that we would get married at a religious place. Unfortunately, that didn't happen then and it always remained at the back of our minds. So last month, we went to Trimbakeshwar, got the necessary permissions and went ahead. Our parents were present for the ceremony, but what made it even more special was that our two-year-old daughter was with us. It felt beautiful and all the memories of our wedding day came back to us.' 'Now I'm focused on balancing my personal and professional life Incidentally, a few years ago, there were rumours of trouble in their marriage. Ashish says, 'In the past few years, I couldn't focus enough on my personal life due to work. I used to be away from home for months, shooting for web shows, and during that time, Shweta went back to her hometown, Nagpur, so people assumed things. But we were always together. Getting married again has brought us even closer, and now I'm making sure I strike the right balance between my personal and professional life. '

Transgender actress Shubhi Sharma on real acceptance in the industry; says ‘Let us work, we have households to run'

As Pride Month is celebrated across the globe, Indian transgender actress Shubhi Sharma , who rose to fame with the show Dhruv Tara, has shared a heartfelt note on the ongoing struggle for inclusion within the entertainment industry. While the celebrations aim to recognize LGBTQ+ voices, Shubhi says that real acceptance still feels distant. 'Pride Month is celebrated across the world. Even our country, India, is also celebrating. Transgender individuals are welcome, they are asked about their journey, struggles and achievements. But I feel it's all about documenting things to make society look good. There isn't much that our society is ready to return us,' she says bluntly. Opening up about a recent experience, Shubhi shares, 'I was looking for work and had auditioned for Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. It was a good role — a transgender character. But later, they decided to cast a male artist dressed as a transwoman. If this doesn't mean we are sidelined, then what does?' She adds with grace and honesty, 'I'm fine if they don't cast me — maybe I didn't fit the role. But at least they could have offered the part to another trans person. We deserve those opportunities.' Shubhi's message is simple but powerful: 'My only request is — if you truly believe in Pride Month, then accept us. Let us work. We have households to run. We don't seek pity or charity — we seek respect. I hope someday society will stand with us, not just speak about us.' Her words serve as a stark reminder that representation without inclusion is incomplete — and that real change lies in action, not tokenism.

Worship Khanna on his acting journey; says ‘I'm still walking on the path, the destination is far'

Actor Worship Khanna, known for his roles in Kumkum Bhagya , Meri Doli Mere Angana, Ishq Subhan Allah, and web series like Hello Jee and Cold Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, is currently seen playing Puran in Pati Brahmachari. In a candid conversation, he opens up about his journey from journalism to acting and how passion and perseverance led him to Mumbai. 'I had already made up my mind during my school days. I started acting when I was just 13 years old,' says Worship, recalling his early love for performance. He pursued Mass Media and Journalism, choosing subjects that aligned with his dream of working in the entertainment industry. 'That course taught me editing, writing, advertising — all of which helped me understand how the industry works,' he shares. Worship landed his first job at a media house at 21 through college placements. But something felt missing. 'I was proud, but I realized my heart wasn't in it,' he admits. 'I used to write scripts, but someone else would read them on screen. When I asked to anchor, I was told only females usually get that chance. That's when I knew this isn't what I wanted.' To pursue his dreams in Mumbai, he had to convince his father. 'I told him I wanted to do my Master's. I said, someday my kids should be proud their dad completed his education. That worked,' he laughs. After moving, he balanced studies with auditions. 'My first break came with CID, and slowly, more roles followed. Every journey teaches something. I'm still walking on the path — the destination is far, but I'm learning at every turn.' On his latest role, Worship says, 'I play Puran — a cheerful tea-seller who faces struggles but stays joyful. Viewers will love the trio of Puran, Monika, and Bluetooth!'
