Indian CEO says taking his kids on business class was a wrong decision: 'Next trip, they'll fly economy'
A Noida-based CEO shared why he won't be flying business class with his children again. The founder and CEO of YesMadam, Mayank Arya, wrote about a recent trip where he took his kids in business class for the first time. He thought it would be a nice, premium experience for them, but soon realised it wasn't the right choice. A Noida CEO's candid post about flying business class with his kids grabs attention.(Screengrab LinkedIn/@Mayank Arya) In his post on LinkedIn, Arya said the seats were spacious, the meals were better and everything felt luxurious. But something was missing: warmth and togetherness. "As a father, it's not just about giving your kids comfort. It's about giving them the right values," he said. The post went viral for its honest message about parenting and values. Many parents said they understood and felt the same. Since the seats were far apart, they couldn't sit close, play games, or enjoy small moments like asking, 'Papa, how much longer?' every few minutes. "Struggle bhi dikhani hai, aspiration bhi jagani hai. Business class tabhi jab woh khud afford karein. (We have to show them the struggle and instil the aspiration. Business class only when they can afford it by themselves). Not just because Papa could," he further added. Check out the post here: Here's how people reacted to this post: Many people praised the CEO for his honest and thoughtful post. Some said it made them think about their family trips and how small moments matter more than comfort. One of the users, @Kunal Garg, commented, 'Not everything premium is better. Sometimes it's just… distant.' A second user, @Siddharth Oswal, commented, 'Couldn't agree more! Been there, done that—and honestly, the real fun (and bonding) is in economy. Leg space kam hota hai, par heart space zyada.' Another user, @Rijul Udaypure, commented, 'The best part of travel is togetherness- this reminds us why.' Other users called it the best parenting insight they'd seen in a while.

UP International Trade Show in Greater Noida from Sept 25 to 29
The Uttar Pradesh government is set to host the third edition of the UP International Trade Show (UPITS-2025) in Greater Noida from September 25 to 29. Positioning Uttar Pradesh as a rising 'Expressway State' and an emerging manufacturing powerhouse, the event will highlight the state's rapid infrastructural and industrial development—especially key projects such as the UP Defense Industrial Corridor (UPDIC) and Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Clusters (IMLC), spearheaded by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA). The government said UPITS-2025 will serve as a platform to promote these ambitious initiatives and attract both domestic and global investors. Designed around the vision of 'Atmanirbhar Uttar Pradesh', the exhibition will feature technologically advanced and aesthetically impressive stalls, highlighting the state's transition into a global hub for infrastructure and manufacturing. Being organised in collaboration with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department and India Expo Mart Limited, the event is expected to draw over 50,000 trade representatives, industry leaders, and policymakers from India and abroad. UPEIDA will present a 500 square metre integrated digital pavilion showcasing the state's landmark achievements in expressway development, defence manufacturing, and logistics infrastructure. The expressways connecting the six nodes of the UP Defence Corridor—Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Agra, Aligarh, and Chitrakoot—are helping connectivity, the government said. The UPITS-2025 aims to demonstrate this potential, officiuals said. UPEIDA's exhibition stall will be equipped with digital technologies and immersive experiences. It will feature two conference rooms, a store room, and a pantry. Visitors will be welcomed with interactive elements, including 3D modelling, virtual reality, anamorphic displays, immersive projection mapping, and real-time simulations. The stall will also showcase defence sector prototypes such as tanks, missiles, and aircraft via 3D dummies. Aesthetic elements will include wooden plywood flooring, needle-punch carpeting, PVC vinyl façade work, backlit boxes, and waterproof, well-ventilated infrastructure. Four-seater meeting tables, high-end furniture, LED screens, and digital standees will support B2B and B2C engagements, while an interactive table will provide real-time information about all ongoing UPEIDA projects.
