Nod to Bundelkhand industrial devpt plan
Lucknow: State cabinet on Thursday promulgated the Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority Area (Preparation and Finalisation of Plan) regulation 2025. UP govt formed BIDA as part of its vision to undertake focused development of the Bundelkhand region into a thriving industrial hub. The larger goal was to change fate of the otherwise backward region by creating a self-sustainable ecosystem that powers economic growth and creates employment. Officials concerned said that BIDA's regulation will help the authority undertake safe and controlled development of the region and check unplanned and disorganised growth. Another key goal is to undertake development that is in sync with environmental concerns. It will also pave way for development of public amenities to create infrastructure that enhances the quality of life for people. Officials concerned said the move would help accelerate development in the region, attract investments, and create jobs.
