Happy Birthday 28 May 2025—Know What Numbers Whisper About Your Next 12 Months
Happy Birthday! Your birth date has brought you here, so let us have a deep insight into what your numbers hold for you in the upcoming 12 months.
Personal year
For the next 12 months, you will be under the influence of Number 6 , which is ruled by Shukra Dev. Let us dive into what the next 12 months hold for you
Career & Finance
For those born on May 28, the coming year offers a great deal of opportunity for both intellectual and professional advancement. As a Gemini born on this date, your innate charm, keen communication abilities, and mental acuity will enable you to take risks in your career. You should expect significant changes between June and November, like as promotions, joint ventures, or moving into a position that gives you greater freedom and creative power.
This year is ideal for concentrating on your web presence, personal branding, or starting a side endeavor that showcases your special set of abilities. You may balance several positions or responsibilities; if you handle diversification with structure, it can benefit you. In terms of finances, the year encourages expansion but calls for moderation. Consulting, side work, and internet business are some of the ways that income may improve, but costs may also go up, particularly between August and December.

Keep an eye out for rash purchases or risky investments. To guarantee long-term stability, put more emphasis on financial education, create a solid savings plan, and think about insurance or emergency savings.
Relationships
The year offers more emotional clarity, depth, and transformation in matters of the heart. If you're single, you can anticipate meeting interesting people through travel, social gatherings, or intellectual interests.
Even though many people are drawn to your charm, you can find yourself longing for more meaningful encounters rather than lighthearted banter. Someone who defies your typical relationship expectations may come along between July and October, encouraging you to consider emotional openness and genuineness.
Communication is essential for people in committed relationships, particularly if past avoidance or inconsistent behaviors need to be addressed.
This year is about fostering trust by openness and common objectives. Being present and emotionally mature will improve your relationship. You might assume a more advising or helpful position in your family, particularly for a younger relative or sibling. Additionally, friendships may change; you'll be drawn to those that help you grow, while relationships that don't appreciate one another may wane. Foster connections that provide emotional depth and intellectual stimulation.
Health
Developing structure, energy management, and mental wellbeing will have the biggest positive impact on your health during the following 12 months. Being someone who spends a lot of time in their head, stress can build up without you seeing it. It can show up as tense muscles, digestive problems, or disturbed sleep. Establishing a health regimen that combines mental and physical rest is best done in the first half of the year.
Select physical activities that provide diversity and engage your body; for example, dancing, cycling, or group fitness courses can be good choices. Your nervous system can be regulated by including breathwork, meditation, or even creative journaling. Take extra care to avoid burnout between August and October, particularly if you have taken on too many initiatives or neglected your need for rest. Make an effort to stay hydrated, practice good sleep hygiene, and limit your evening screen time.
If your job requires you to speak a lot, you should also monitor your vocal strain and respiratory health. Regular, reasonable routines and preventive examinations will promote vigor all year round.
Travel
It is anticipated that travel will be a significant and stimulating aspect of your year. You might be always on the go, whether for work, travel, or personal development. For business travel that offers new contacts, visibility, and educational possibilities, the months of May through August are particularly advantageous.
These might include joint projects in new cities, seminars, or digital nomad endeavors.
Personal travel will provide emotional rejuvenation; anticipate journeys that result in spiritual awakening, artistic inspiration, or cultural enlightenment. It will seem particularly rewarding to visit historical monuments, coastal locations, or areas renowned for their thriving communities. The months of September and December are ideal for relaxation or solitary retreats. If you're thinking about moving or staying overseas for a longer period of time, this year offers a good chance to experience that lifestyle. During Mercury retrograde periods, especially in April, August, and November, use caution; review plans and have backup plans. This year, travel will not only alter your environment but also broaden your perspective and impact the course of your life.

'What are they waiting for?': Donald Trump erupts as US House dithers on 'beautiful bill'; warns of voter losses

File photo: US President Donald Trump (Picture credit: AP) US President Donald Trump has issued a blunt warning to Republicans in Congress, expressing frustration over delays in passing his sweeping tax and spending legislation. Posting on Truth Social early Thursday, Trump wrote: 'Largest Tax Cuts in History and a Booming Economy vs. Biggest Tax Increase in History, and a Failed Economy. What are the Republicans waiting for??? What are you trying to prove??? MAGA is not happy, and it's costing you votes!!!' Trump's outburst came as Republican leaders in the House of Representatives struggled to rally enough support for a procedural vote needed to move the bill forward. Later, in a separate post, he urged Republicans to support the bill. "For Republicans, this should be an easy yes vote. Ridiculous!!!", he wrote. As per news agency AFP, House Speaker Mike Johnson kept the vote open for hours, desperately negotiating with holdouts behind the scenes. The bill had already passed the Senate by a single vote but must now return to the House for final approval due to changes made in the upper chamber. Nicknamed the 'One Big Beautiful Bill,' Trump's legislative package combines tax cuts with increased defence spending and billions set aside for mass deportation efforts. It also includes the largest reduction in Medicaid since the programme's inception in the 1960s and adds an estimated $3.4 trillion to the national deficit over a decade. Some House Republicans remain deeply divided. Fiscal conservatives object to the rising debt, while moderates fear the cuts could hurt their re-election chances, particularly with an estimated 17 million people at risk of losing health coverage and rural hospitals facing possible closure. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo Despite mounting tensions, Speaker Johnson has stayed optimistic, telling reporters, 'We're going to get there tonight. We're working on it and very, very positive about our progress,' according to Politico. Trump, meanwhile, has taken a hands-on approach. According to CNN, he and Vice President JD Vance have held several meetings at the White House with sceptical Republicans. In a session aimed at centrist lawmakers, Trump's tone was described as 'cordial,' and Dr Mehmet Oz, now overseeing Medicaid, was brought in to explain how the bill's provisions would affect healthcare in members' districts. As per CNN, Rep Dusty Johnson of South Dakota said after one such meeting that members were indeed shifting their stance, 'Those meetings are having a big impact, members are moving to yes.' But some conservatives remain unmoved. Texas Republican Chip Roy, a key member of the Freedom Caucus, criticised the Senate's version, saying, 'We need more spending restraint.' His colleague, Rep. Andy Harris, outright refused to attend the White House talks, stating, 'I'm still voting no on the rule. We have to get this thing right.' Trump's allies believe passing the bill by his self-imposed July 4 deadline would solidify his second-term legacy, with promises such as no taxes on tips or overtime pay and work requirements for welfare recipients. However, delays caused by GOP infighting, flight disruptions, and rule vote resistance have made it difficult to stick to the timeline. The House Rules Committee did clear an early hurdle by advancing the bill late Tuesday, but prominent conservatives on the panel, including Reps. Ralph Norman and Chip Roy, voted with Democrats to oppose the measure. The stakes are high. House Republicans can only afford to lose three votes if all members are present.

Why Indian techie Soham Parekh, accused of moonlighting, is trending on Twitter? Memes go viral amid Microsoft layoff

In a week already rattled by Microsoft's massive layoff of 9,000 employees, the internet found comic relief in an unexpected figure: Soham Parekh . The Indian-origin techie has become the face of a viral meme storm after allegations surfaced that he had been simultaneously employed at multiple US startups. The news set tech Twitter ablaze, turning Parekh into an unlikely anti-hero of Silicon Valley's hustle culture. The controversy erupted when Mixpanel founder Suhail Doshi took to X to issue a public warning to fellow entrepreneurs: — Suhail (@Suhail) Doshi posted screenshots of Parekh's impressive résumé, which includes a Bachelor's in computer engineering from the University of Mumbai with a stellar 9.83 GPA and a Master's in computer science from Georgia Tech. He claimed Parekh had been caught juggling roles at multiple companies under the radar—an audacious feat in the era of remote work. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play War Thunder now for free War Thunder Play Now Undo As the story spread, so did the memes. In light of Microsoft's announcement of 9,000 job cuts this week, one user joked that all those roles might have belonged to just one person, Soham Parekh. — growing_daniel (@growing_daniel) Another hilarious meme post featured a heart emoji with the caption Are we hiring the same engineer?—a tongue-in-cheek jab at the idea that multiple startups might have unknowingly hired Soham as an employee. — bharaatobama (@bharaatobama) A parody account even joined the conversation, poking fun at the double standards in tech — pointing out how Elon Musk can run multiple startups and Jamie Dimon can serve on several boards, but when someone like Soham does it, it's suddenly labeled a 'scam.' — phantomthread_d (@phantomthread_d) What are your thoughts on Soham Parekh?

Chinese threat or American pressure? What really fueled Australia's 1.3 billion missile purchase

As China flexes its military muscle with live-fire drills near Australia and dual aircraft carrier exercises near Japan, Canberra responds with its wallet, confirming a $1.3 billion missile deal with the United States. The defence community is buzzing about whether this decision was due to a Chinese threat or US pressure that made the deal. Australia's Defence Industry Minister Pat Conroy on Thursday, July 3, confirmed the deal to purchase two advanced variants of the AIM-120 AMRAAM (Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile). Live Events Despite these purchases, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has so far resisted US demands to commit to a 3.5 per cent GDP defense spending target. Australian defense expenditure is projected to rise to 2.3 per cent of GDP by 2033. The Beijing effect On February 20 and 21, China's People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) conducted first ever live-fire exercises near the shores of Australia and New Zealand, which gave equal headaches for the defence establishments in Canberra and Wellington. The most threatening part for the Australian government was that these drills closely followed a Chinese fighter jet dropping flares near an Australian maritime aircraft over the South China Sea and Beijing's controversial agreements with the Cook Islands, which prompted objections from New Zealand. China's ever-increasing presence in the South Pacific has been widely interpreted as a pushback against growing Western naval activity. Just days earlier, two US warships, the USS Ralph Johnson and USNS Bowditch, passed through the Taiwan Strait, the first such transit since President Donald Trump's return to the White House. Also Read: Trump is killing American EV companies to benefit China; how Tesla is losing to BYD, SAIC and Geely Simultaneously, China has been conducting aggressive naval exercises in the Western Pacific too, with both of its aircraft carriers, the Shandong and the Liaoning, carrying out operations since late May. On June 7 and 8, Chinese fighters shadowed and crossed in front of Japanese planes for 40 to 80 minutes, prompting Tokyo to lodge a formal protest. What do AIM-120C-8 and AIM-120D-3 missiles include The AIM-120C-8 variant is optimized for long-range, beyond-visual-range engagements. It is intended for use with Australia's F/A-18 Super Hornets and F-35 stealth fighters, whose range can reach 160–180 km. This Supersonic, around Mach 4, missile can be designed to intercept fast-moving enemy aircraft, including stealth fighters. The AIM-120D-3 is an upgraded missile system that boasts enhanced electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) and a GPS-aided inertial navigation system for precise targeting. Improved kinematics and range will support a new long-range Army strike brigade capable of hitting targets up to 500 km away. Also Read: Why Australia is taking only 280 people a year from Tuvalu, even as one third want to flee The broader deal The purchase is part of a broader A$74 billion plan announced last year by the Albanese government to modernise missile and deterrent capabilities, including A$21 billion to set up a Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise in Australia. Observers note that China's escalating drills in the South Pacific and near Japan are speeding up the formation of a more robust Indo-Pacific security axis involving the U.S., Australia, Japan, and New Zealand.
