Outrageous Barack Obama meet-and-greet cash grab as $70m ex-president hosts London event
But the meet-and-greet with the former president will set you back a pretty penny, with tickets costing as much as $2,430 (£1,790).
The 63-year-old's An Evening With President Barack Obama event will come to London's O2 Arena on September 24.
Four VIP packages are currently available event organizer Seat Unique's website, ranging from $671 (£495) to more than $1,214 (£895) depending on the selected ticket package.
The $1,214 dining package is nearly sold out with only six tickets remaining.
It includes a four-course meal at the Gaucho steakhouse, a glass of champagne, a seat in the first ten rows at the O2, access to the Seat Unique Club afterparty, and a copy of Obama's book.
General admission seats for the event, with out all the bells and whistles of premium packages, are available for $172 (£127) each, according to Ticketmaster.
A top tier VIP option, which according to the Evening Standard is only sold in pairs, will offer guests an opportunity to pose for a photo with Obama, subject to security clearance.
The package is understood to be more expensive than the dining package, with the newspaper suggesting it will cost at least $2,430.
However, the Daily Mail could not independently verify that price as these tickets appear to have already sold out.
The cheapest hospitality package, titled the premium ticket, costs $671 per ticket and offers guests guaranteed premium seating, priority access to the arena, a welcome drink at the Seat Unique Club, post-show access to the club and a copy of Obama's new book.
Two other hospitality packages - the Seventh Row and Seat Unique Club packages -cost $745 (£549) and $1,800 (£795), respectively.
Tickets went on sale Thursday, with organizers having reportedly set aside 100 seats for charitable organizations.
It is unclear if Obama, worth an estimated $70 million, will be donating any of the profits or ticket sales to charity or if he and Seat Unique will be pocketing the funds.
Daily Mail has approached Seat Unique for further information.
The event will see the president be interviewed by British-Nigerian historian David Olusoga.
Obama is expected to speak about his experiences as a two-term US president and his thoughts on the future of the nation.
The event organizers, in a statement to the Standard, said they are 'incredibly honored to bring President Obama to the UK'.
'His message of unity and progress resonates deeply, and we anticipate an evening that will inspire and empower all who attend,' the statement said.
'We believe in providing exceptional experiences, and this event perfectly aligns with our mission to connect people with inspiring moments.'
Obama is a highly regarded speaker and in 2022 won an Emmy for best narrator for his work on the Netflix docuseries Our Great National Parks.
He also previously won a Grammy for his audiobook reading of both his memoirs.
But Obama's high-dollar prices are arguably a bit steep, with the top level ticket costing more than double what London-based Beyoncé fans paid to see her Cowboy Carter Tour last month
But Obama's high-dollar prices are arguably a bit steep, with the top level ticket costing more than double what London-based Beyoncé fans paid to see her Cowboy Carter Tour last month.
VIP tickets for the president's event are also more than twice the cost of premium tickets to some of the UK's most anticipated including the Oasis reunion tour, which is current underway, and Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour last year - both of which sold out.

Rochdale grooming gang ringleaders 'to finally be deported' to Pakistan after UK lifts ban on flights
Two of the ringleaders of the Rochdale grooming scandal may finally be deported back to Pakistan a decade after a judge first authorised their departure. Until now the South Asian state has refused to accept Qari Abdul Rauf, 55, and Adil Khan, 54, after the pair renounced their Pakistani citizenship. That left the Home Office unable to deport the duo since to do so would have left them 'stateless' - a move which is illegal under international law. But Pakistan's position looks set to potentially change now that ministers have given the green light for direct flights to once again resume between the two countries. The country's national carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was barred from operating inside the EU and UK in 2020. The ban followed an incident on May 22 that year in which a domestic passenger flight from Lahore to Karachi crashed while on approach to Jinnah International Airport, killing 97 out of the 99 people on board as well as an additional person on the ground. Rauf and Khan were both dual British-Pakistani citizens until the pair were convicted of a catalogue of child sex offences in 2012. The Home Office called for their British citizenship to be revoked after they were convicted of grooming and raping young women. Aziz ferried victims from Rochdale to sex parties as far away as Leeds and Bradford. However, the pair renounced their Pakistani citizenship days before an appeal was due to be heard on the Home Office decision, making it is legally complex to send them to back to Pakistan. But officials in Islamabad last month told The Times that Pakistan may finally agree to take the two men once direct flights are resumed. The British High Commission in Pakistan confirmed yesterday that PIA is once again legally allowed to fly no-stop routes into the UK. A spokesperson said: 'After a sustained, independent, and technically driven process, the UK's Air Safety Committee has lifted its restrictions on Pakistani carriers. 'It will take time for flights to resume, but this is an important step, and a testament to Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority's air safety improvements. 'Individual airline carriers will still need to apply for permits to operate to the UK through the UK Civil Aviation Authority.' Jane Marriott, the UK high commissioner to Pakistan, added: 'I'm grateful to aviation experts in the UK and Pakistan for their collaborative work to drive improvements to meet international safety standards. 'While it will take time for flights to resume, once the logistics are in place, I look forward to using a Pakistani carrier when visiting family and friends.' This dropping of the ban will be welcome news to the 1.6million people of Pakistani heritage living in the UK. David Lammy is currently leading discussions with Pakistan on their return, and both the Foreign Secretary and Home Office ministers are reported to be 'working very hard' to strike an agreement. Faith minister Lord Khan, who has strong connections to Pakistan, is also said to be involved in talks. Paul Waugh, the Labour MP for Rochdale, said: 'This is very welcome news. I know that this decision will have been taken solely on the basis of the safety improvements made by the airline and is not linked to deportations. 'But it indicates exactly the kind of close working relationship we need between the UK and Pakistan to pave the way for the return of Pakistani nationals deported from the UK – including the men convicted for being Rochdale grooming gang members.' Earlier this year, MailOnline revealed that Rauf was working in Rochdale as a delivery driver, prompting fears he might meet one of his victims during the course of his work. His neighbours in Rochdale were disgusted that he is still allowed to live in the same town where he carried out his vile crimes. One mother, who lives just a few doors away, said: 'Nobody can believe that monster is still here, after what he did to those young girls. 'It's disgusting. What is the country coming to? Why is he still here?'

Love Island's Cach breaks down in tears and is comforted by Ty in heart-wrenching scenes after dramatic recoupling as fans urge 'protect him at all costs!'
Love Island's Cacherel 'Cach' Mercer broke down in tears during Wednesday's episode following the dramatic recoupling which saw Toni Laites recouple with Harrison. Toni surprised the villa on Monday night when she picked to recouple with Harrison instead of Cach, despite telling him she was done with him. Cach entered as a Casa Amor bombshell and swept Toni off her feet, while she was on and off with Harrison. The shock turn of events left Cach in tears as he took a moment on the terrace to cry on Ty's shoulder - which left fans in tears. 'I can't believe I'm crying. I haven't cried in years,' Cach told Ty. Ty told him: 'This is real though, it's you. It's better to let stuff like this out than bottle it up. It doesn't make you any less of a man, in fact more of a man.' Love Island fans were left in tears as they took to X to share their heartbreak and urged to 'protect him at all costs'. Some comments read: 'Cach is breaking my heart', 'CASH I AM SO SORRY YOU ARE BREAKING MY HEART!!! YOU DESERVE SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!', 'Protect Cache at all costs my heart is breaking for him', 'This is so hard to watch! Cach crying really breaks my heart', 'Okay now seeing Cach cry? My heart is breaking for this poor boy. He has a heart of gold', 'Nah, seeing 2 men like this is so beautiful. A man crying & being comforted by another man. Wow. Heart warming scenes man'. Toni and Harrison took their exes for a chat following the explosive and upsetting recoupling to explain and apologise - but neither of them have any of it. Love Island fans were left in tears as they took to X to share their heartbreak and urged to 'protect him at all costs' Cach didn't hold back as he told Toni: 'That was one of the most embarrassing things I've been through in my entire life… 'You knew what decision you wanted to make, you were just waiting for the go ahead from someone else.' As he walked off, he said: 'I can't respect that. Good luck with your endeavours.' Lauren Wood told Harrison: 'I've wasted my whole time getting to know you for no reason… To do what you've done to me tonight is so disrespectful.' 'I feel like everything has been a lie.' Love Island fans have branded Harrison 'disgusting' after he crawled back to Toni after having sex with Lauren during Tuesday night's episode and admitted it wasn't the first time. As the couple's settled down to sleep, one pair had other ideas as they were seen getting frisky under the covers. And it wasn't long until they took things to the next level as Harrison was seen whispering across the beds as he asked Harry whether he had a condom. After Harry passed the wrapper to his friend, Lauren was seen climbing on top of Harrison before the camera panned away to show their islanders shocked faces. And the next day as Lauren chatted with Helena and Meg, she confessed it wasn't the first time the couple had slept together as she admitted they had gone all the way the other night too. Yet despite the intimacy, Harrison was quick to change his mind on who he had a greater connection with as he went crawling back to Toni after news of a shock recoupling. Speaking to Harry he confessed: 'I want Toni' before he met with her on the terrace to beg her to give him another chance. And shockingly Toni once again chose to give things another go with her former flame, despite insisting she was 'done' earlier in the episode. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans didn't hold back with their comments as they penned: 'Harrison is disgusting you're having sex with Lauren knowing you don't even like her and Lauren is just a whole mess both of you go home I'm sick of it'. 'And she still doesn't know he's sh****d Lauren twice this is so dirty someone intervene'; 'I beg Lauren stands up and mentions they sh****d twice Harrison ain't even told Toni yet loool'; Taking to X, formerly Twitter, fans didn't hold back with their comments as they penned: 'Harrison is disgusting you're having sex with Lauren knowing you don't even like her and Lauren is just a whole mess both of you go home I'm sick of it' Toni and Harrison have had a rollercoaster journey since Harrison brought back the bombshell to the main villa after Casa Amor 'had sex with lauren TWICE mind you, now he wants toni back'; 'Harrison wants Toni but he's having sex with Lauren. Toni and Harrison are such weirdos'; 'Harrison asking for a condom and proceeding to have sex in a room full of people ??? Disgusting'; 'How do they feel so comfortable having sex with people in the room?!'; 'Having sex with other people in the room is one thing, but on NATIONAL TV??'; 'Where is Toni sleeping? Cos if Harrison & Lauren are having sex in the same room, the respect is below hell'; 'harrison and lauren are CRAZY bc how are you having sex in a room full of people AND asking for a condom'. Harrison and Toni officially recoupled at the end of the episode, while Lauren was left in tears after she was forced to recouple with Ty. Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Noel Gallagher's five-word message to fans as Oasis mania continues for night three reunion show at Heaton Park
Noel Gallagher issued a five-word message to fans during their Heaton Park gig on Wednesday night as they took to their home city for the third of five sold out shows. The band performed in front of a crowd of 80,000 devoted fans while hundreds more gathered outside the concert area near to 'Gallagher Hill' to catch a glimpse of the show from afar. And as Oasis mania shows no sign of slowing down Noel made sure to give a special shoutout to the crowd as he gushed to the audience: 'Nobody's got fans like this.' He added: 'Nobody's got fans like this. No one. Nobody,' as the crowd erupted into cheers. Meanwhile ticketless Oasis fans descended on 'Gallagher Hill' once again, however they were faced with a tall barrier put up by Manchester City Council who were blocking the view from the field of inside the venue. But that didn't stop some revellers pulling themselves up to gain a vantage point, proving they are certainly determined fans. It comes after ticketless Oasis fans reportedly tried to 'storm Heaton Park' on Friday as the band kicked off the first of their five-night stint at the venue. It has been claimed that the police were forced to intervene as people attempted to gain entry to the sold-out gig, with footage showing metal fence panels on the ground. According to Manchester Evening News, an eyewitness claimed that 'around 50 people' had tried to 'rush' one of the internal entrances to the gig area. It was thought that 10 people got in, but the publication reported that the rest were 'apprehended and turned away.' The police later issued a statement to MEN confirming that 'no one made it through to the concert area.' The shows at Heaton Park - a 600-acre public park in Bury and Manchester - are the only UK shows held outside a stadium, with the others taking place at the Principality Stadium, Wembley and Murrayfield. Elsewhere, fans were given a treat as many lucky music lovers were able to enjoy the bands opening night at Heaton Park 'for free.' While some paid hundreds to watch the reunion gig, some were able to catch the performance on TV screens. As the duo performed Don't Look Back In Anger, Cigarettes and Alcohol and Morning Glory could be heard across Prestwich. Although many didn't have a ticket for the event, many were able to catch the gig on the big screens from a near by hill. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: 'Henman Hill? Welcome to Gallagher Hill #oasis.' 'Amazing night on Gallagher Hill in Heaton Park for Oasis. Best atmosphere & lovely people!' Oasis guitarist Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs, who joined the brothers on stage, shared a clip of the fans enjoying the concert from outside the venue. Alongside the clip, he penned: 'No tickets needed,' alongside red heart emojis. It seems the Oasis reunion tour may lead to even bigger and better things with the band reportedly inundated with big money offers to play major festivals next year. With the hype around the Brit pop band greater than ever The Sun have reported that their teams are receiving requests for Liam and Noel to play big shows all over the globe including Coachella and Benicassim. An insider told the publication: 'If fans thought Oasis were busy, they should see the offers their teams are fielding behind the scenes. 'None of the bids are being accepted at the moment. They're just being stacked up to be discussed at a later date. The focus for Oasis is this tour, and so far it's been a phenomenal success.' They added: 'Any decisions about future performances are a long way off — but some of them look incredibly tempting.' It will be down to Noel and Liam whether they continue following the existing dates, but they are loving being back on stage performing to their loyal fans.
