India rejects with contempt Pakistan's seeking to pin blame for Waziristan attack

New Delhi, June 29 (UNI) India has rejected with contempt the Pakistan army's statement seeking to blame India for the suicide bomb attack in which 13 Pakistani soldiers were killed in North Waziristan yesterday.In a statement, the MEA said:
'We have seen an official statement by the Pakistan Army seeking to blame India for the attack in Waziristan on 28 June.'We reject this statement with the contempt it deserves.'Notably, 13 Pakistani security personnel were killed and 16 others injured when a suicide bomber rammed an explosive laden vehicle into a Pakistani military convoy in North Waziristan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province yesterday.The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistani army's media wing, in a statement said the attack was 'planned and orchestrated" by India and executed by the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Mathura, June 29 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited Bankebihari temple in Vrindavan, along with her family members, today. The Chief Minister also performed Govardhan Parikrama. Ms Gupta reached the Bankebihari temple in the morning, where she worshipped Thakurji and wished for peace. The temple priests accorded a grand welcome to Ms Gupta by presenting her Prasadi Patka and garland and offered her prasad of Thakurji. On this occasion, the visiting Chief Minister said that today she has received blessings of Bankebihari. Earlier, the Delhi CM reached the foothills of Govardhan in Mathura and performed the Saptoksi Parikrama of the Lord Girirajji. After the worship of Giriraj Prabhu at Danaghati temple, she started Giriraj ji's the 21-km-long 'parikrama'. She said that Giriraj ji's 'parikrama' gives peace to the soul and energy to the mind. Kabul, June 29 (UNI) The Afghan Taliban government in Kabul has rejected remarks made by Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir claiming that India is using Afghan territory to operate against Fitrat, deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, stressed that the caretaker government, based on its policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, does not allow anyone to use Afghan soil against any country, Tolo News said: "Currently, there is no threat to anyone, and such concerns suggesting that one party is being nurtured against another are baseless. The Islamic Emirate adheres to a policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries and does not permit the use of Afghan soil to create insecurity, especially against neighbouring countries. 'These concerns are therefore groundless. That said, we emphasise that relations with Pakistan are important to us and must be based on mutual interests. We seek good relations with both countries and observe a neutral, non-interventionist policy in foreign affairs."This statement follows remarks by Asim Munir, Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff, who claimed that Indian-backed groups are operating against Pakistan from Afghan in Islamabad, Munir referred to Afghanistan as an Islamic and brotherly country and stated that Pakistan seeks peaceful relations with Afghanistan but expects Kabul to prevent the activities of Indian proxy said: "We ask only one thing: do not give space to India's terrorist proxies -- Fitna al-Hind and Fitna al-Khawarij.'
