Andy Carroll, 36, shares playful snaps with his girlfriend Lou Teasdale, 41, after he 'is questioned twice by Greek police over a series of bust-ups'

Daily Mail5 days ago

Andy Carroll shared a series of playful snaps with his girlfriend Lou Teasdale after they were reportedly questioned twice by Greek police over a series of bust-ups.
The ex-England football star, 36, was interrogated about the arguments with his make-up artist lover, 41, in a restaurant and at their hotel in Mykonos, according to the Sun on Sunday.
And now he has taken to his social media to share a series of loved-up snaps to his Instagram Stories.
In the four-split snap, the pair put their arms around one another as they stuck out their tongues.
For the post, the pair matched outfits as Andy wore a casual brown T-shirt while Lou wore a similar-coloured cropped vest.
Their post comes after they were reportedly involved in a series of disagreements while on holiday.
Speaking about the first incident between the couple, a worker at the Nikolus Tavern told the Sun: 'He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner.
'He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.'
According to the restaurant worker, police arrived and took the ex-Liverpool, Newcastle United and England striker aside for a chat, before he was later allowed back to girlfriend Lou.
'Police spoke to him. He was allowed to return, and the couple left after paying for their meal. Andy was very calm when the police arrived — he stood up and spoke to them outside the restaurant', the restaurant worker added.
Just hours later, cops were called again by hotel staff following reports of damage in their room.
MailOnline understands that the former England forward - once Britain's most expensive Premier League footballer when bought by Liverpool from Newcastle for £35million - was taken to the police station for questioning, but he was not arrested and no further action was taken.
The incident was confirmed by a hotel employee, who claimed Andy broke the door.
That night, Lou left the hotel and spent the night at Soho Roc House.
MailOnline has approached the couple's representatives for comment.
A joint statement from the couple given to The Sun said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion.
'It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there.
'We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us.
They then explained that 'no one was arrested or charged' and they are 'happy, in love and looking forward to their future'.
The pair began dating last year after he separated from his TOWIE star wife Billi Mucklow last September.
Andy and Billi called it quits after two years of turbulent marriage, the footballer confirmed last year.
In 2022, their wedding was almost called off when Andy was pictured drunkenly passed out in bed with two women in Dubai on his stag do.
Billi forgave him after one of the women insisted nothing sexual happened.
Less than two years after their nuptials, the couple's marriage was over - with Andy confirming they had started divorce proceedings after 'a hard few months for our family'.
Andy said in a statement at the time: 'Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings'.
'It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children.'
Andy and Billi have three children together Arlo, Wolf, and Marvel Mae and she also raises his two children Emilie Rose, 15, and Lucas, 14 from his past relationship.

"She was stroking his back and had a massive smile on her face,' a source said. While Louis is used to appearing on stage, it was actually Zara that was making an appearance at this year's festival, joining a panel at the Information Tent on Friday to discuss her documentary filmmaking. Louis was seen proudly looking on from the sidelines as she spoke. The couple have become more public with their relationship in the past few weeks, after getting to know each other while Zara filmed a documentary with Louis's sisters. However, they have since made their relationship more well-known, enjoying a loved-up holiday to Costa Rica together, and Zara joining Louis in Los Angeles. 5 5

Kneecap's Glastonbury set will not be broadcast live, BBC confirms

Kneecap's Glastonbury set will not be broadcast live, the BBC has confirmed. The rap trio said the corporation had contacted them to say their performance would be available online on iPlayer from Saturday evening. The group were due to perform on the West Holts stage at 4pm on Saturday, despite criticism from the UK prime minister, Keir Starmer, who said they should be banned from the festival after the band member Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh, known as Mo Chara, was charged with a terrorism offence. The 27-year-old is accused of displaying a flag representing Hezbollah, a proscribed organisation, at a gig in November last year, a charge he denies. The BBC said the band's set would not be streamed live, 'but we look to make an on-demand version available'. A BBC spokesperson said: 'As the broadcast partner, the BBC is bringing audiences extensive music coverage from Glastonbury, with artists booked by the festival organisers. 'Whilst the BBC doesn't ban artists, our plans ensure that our programming meets our editorial guidelines. 'We don't always livestream every act from the main stages and look to make an on-demand version of Kneecap's performance available on our digital platforms, alongside more than 90 other sets.'

Marilyn Manson's Brighton concert cancelled following campaign

The first UK concert of rock star Marilyn Manson's tour has been cancelled after pressure from campaigners and an MP. The first leg of his One Assassination Under God Tour had been set to kick off at Brighton Centre on October 29. On Saturday, fans who go online to contact Ticketmaster receive a message saying: 'This event has been cancelled. 'Ticket sales have stopped, but there may be tickets available for other dates.' In January, prosecutors in the US said they would not file charges against Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, after long-running investigation into allegations of sexual assault and domestic violence. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said the allegations were too old under the law and the evidence is not sufficient to charge the 56-year-old shock rocker. LA County sheriff's detectives had said early in 2021 that they were investigating Manson over alleged incidents between 2009 and 2011 in West Hollywood, where Manson lived at the time. Earlier this month in an open letter to the Brighton and Hove city council leader Bella Sankey, Sian Berry, the Green MP for Brighton Pavilion, called for the October concert to be cancelled. In the letter, which was co-signed by some victim support groups and the University of Sussex students' union, she wrote: 'Many survivors in Brighton and Hove, and organisations supporting them, will have serious concerns about this booking and its wider impact on other people visiting the city centre, local residents and the wider community.' The letter, which was posted online, prompted a flood of responses from the public pointing out that Manson had not been found guilty of allegations against him and that a four-year investigation did not lead to charges. Others branded the call to cancel the gig as censorship.
